I can't pick a favorite--all of them were absolutely delicious, and came piping hot. The 5 spice flavor is strong and fragrant; there are extra spices and sauces at the front, I recommend trying them on the side. The fried banana was so unique and reminds me of a carnival treat. I loved it so much! The restaurant is very small and the lighting is harsh and bright, so it doesn't feel cozy. It's definitely for a quick and easy meal. We spent around $60, and I feel like for the high quality, it was worth it. The location is conveniently close to UW with its own designated parking lot. I will be returning again!

We tried the shrimp yakisoba in addition to our wings and mozzarella sticks and unfortunately did not like the flavor of the yakisoba. The frustrating part is that Darlene only asked us one time if everything was okay--and she didn't even come to our table. She asked while checking the thermostat, and at that point we had only eaten our wings and some mozzarella sticks. We had not even tried the yakisoba yet. We waited approximately 15 minutes for her to come back and check on us, but she never did. I eventually went to the counter to get a box. Since she never came back to our table, we also went to the counter to pay, which is different from our previous visits where we were checked out at the table. We explained to Darlene that we didn't enjoy the yakisoba because of the flavor. Instead of simply acknowledging the feedback, she responded rudely that we needed to tell her when she checked on us so it could have been fixed. That was frustrating because she never checked on us after we actually tried the food. How were we supposed to tell her we didn't like something when we hadn't even tried it yet? Then, when I went to tap my phone to pay, Darlene said, "But you're not paying for it, so it doesn't matter." I told her she was being rude, and rather than de-escalating the situation, she began arguing with me and made it seem like we were somehow at fault for not saying anything during the first time she asked. We asked to speak with a manager, and Darlene told us that she was the manager. We weren't upset simply because we didn't like a dish. We understand that not every menu item is going to be everyone's taste. What we expected was basic customer service and an opportunity to actually communicate our concerns. Instead, we were blamed for not reporting an issue that we literally hadn't discovered yet, followed by a rude response when we attempted to explain it. The wings are still excellent, and we've had good experiences here before, which is why tonight was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, Darlene's handling of the situation left a much worse impression than the food itself.

We didn't really want to wait for them, so we left with our haul and started digging into the chicken in the car. Fried Chicken 2x Wings + 2x Drums ($8.99) - Freshly fried, hot and steaming. The chicken is lightly breaded, resulting in a thin coating on the exterior that exhibits an almost glass like crisp. The drums, especially, are gigantic, almost like a small turkey leg, and the meat inside is moist, with juices dripping down with every bite. Both drums had a bit too much bone marrow or blood leaching out of the bones, resulting in a less than pleasant taste in some parts of the chicken. The wings did not have this issue and instead remained juicy throughout. (4.5/5) Jojos ($1.79 for 6) - The jojos seem to be hand cut large wedges, then single fried and seasoned with seasoning salt and pepper. They don't exhibit any crisp whatsoever and instead are just exceptionally fluffy and tender throughout. I really wish they battered them with the same stuff used on the fried chicken! I was a bit underwhelmed with these due to how floppy they were. (3/5) The fried chicken served at Quick Pack Food Mart is very good and is probably the cheapest fried chicken you can find in Seattle to boot. Most places would charge at least $12 for two wings and two drums, and serve smaller pieces of chicken. It's super worth it. Note: Quick Pack Food Mart charges a 50 cent card fee.

On a hot summer day, this would be a nice, airy place to eat in. We might eat there next time. 10 minutes later we were home and looking forward to digging into our chicken! We split a Large Bag o' Bites which were crispy, savory, and delicious breaded chicken breast pieces. We also got the three piece combo: two drumsticks and a thigh. We got everything non-spicy and found it all to be delicious, moist, and crispy. I am especially grateful that Cookie's makes their fried chicken WITHOUT DAIRY since I have a hard time digesting milk protein.
