    chicken sandwich combo
    Renee S.

I often get the combo to-go here when I'm looking for a guilty pleasure meal The portions are really big and the chicken is super crispy! The buns are very fluffy as well and the mayo and toppings help cut the fattiness of the fried chicken. They cooked the chicken after I ordered so the wait time is pretty long and the french fries are a little bit soggy but I definitely would go back for the chicken! There's a milk tea shop inside the same store so you can grab a drink to pair with the fried chicken!

I have been there a few times and always enjoy the food. The fried chicken is always very flavorful, crispy on the outside, and very juicy on the inside. It's just chicken meat with crispy skin. No fat in between. Also, fried chicken croissant sandwich is the BEST in Seattle area. It's a must try!

Okay, well I guess I'm the first...which isn't surprising as they seem to have started their Soft Open a week ago. I kept it simple ordering a 2 piece fried chicken order. It comes with a Cornbread. The combo is about $5 more but depending on what you select for sides and drinks it might not be a good deal. A lot of dishes also are Coming Soon. So bear all that in mind. The chicken has a bit of spiciness to it, which I think is unique when it comes to Fried Chicken. Unfortunately my order was not quite warm enough. So they have to figure out the sweet spot with their warmer to keep the chicken hot enough for enjoyment but not to overcook the chicken. Just as another indicator of how fresh the staff are to everything, I asked for a Cup of Water and they didn't even know that their soda dispenser could just give out water. The placement of said soda dispenser is odd too as it's right by the cash register. Is it self-serve or staff-serve? Hard to know right now. If you're on the same street as Chimac and CAC, there's no option but to improve. So I'll be back in the coming months to look for that progress.

Really great prices for quality fresh fried chicken with a boba place inside as well. The staff was so kind when accidentally giving us spicy instead of non spicy wings and the cornbread was moist and sweet.

This chicken place is mid. I didn't find anything special about it. Wouldn't go back, but it's not bad it's just fine. There are many other places that are better to go. You order through a kiosk, however we wanted extra sauce and he just gave it to us on the house. So great service, thank you dude. You pushed this from a 2.5 to a solid 3, thank you.

the cornbread is BOMB , they make it fresh. The chicken Was real crispy.

The muffin is really tasty and the five dollar meal is a steal. Everything seems to be made fresh

    Chicken, ambiance

The food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant had spectacular service. The chicken tasted pretty good and had a nice crisp to it. Would definitely come again with my family!

Amazing chicken that perfectly fried. Had the chicken wrap and tried the chicken drumsticks. service was done directly by the owner Ginny she opened this location about four months ago. Perfect for students attending the University of Washington.

Okay fried chicken. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about. Sweet chili wings were nice. No spice just sweet. Fried chicken didn't have any flavor. The corn bread was pretty good. Fries were soggy and bland. Simple but what you want with fast food. The branding for this restaurant is on point. If only their food compared as well. Just kick it up a notch.

Got the half spicy half normal and dusting of spice was perfect. The fact that this is gluten free (which is fantastic for all GF folks in our family) is even more Amazing how they got everything right with the crunch and flavor. Potato skins and garlic rice were good too, though less garlic would have been better. Could easily make this into a garlic egg fried rice and larger portions. The staff were super attentive and took time to explain everything to first time visitors. Steady stream of take out orders as seating is limited. Would come back to try the other sides too. Happy to report no reaction for gluten free member of our family, top marks for safety.

Cookie's never, ever wants you to leave hungry. The short review: They succeed…read more First, their chicken is always good. Of course it has to be, but it is. Simple as. I've had sandwiches, bowls, tenders, thighs and drums. They're all good. The sandwiches are the high point in my opinion - particular shoutout to the Slawsome and Hot Honey. They're big and messy but tasty. Can't go wrong with them, and I frequently can't help but order one. The bowls are powerful. I've had both kinds on different trips and they're hard to do in a single sitting, whereas sandwich + side is not. Just be warned. The sides are straightforward - what you see is what you get. They tend to be a little more basic, or classic if you will, than the sandwiches. I like this, since they serve as a side/counterpoint. We tend to get the slaw and pot of gold. The fries are the battered style which are very good and combo well with the rest of the menu. Takeout times tend to be accurate and the staff have been working hard but helpful every time we stop in. Most importantly they've been consistently good every time we go - and often during peak busy times, so that speaks well of their kitchen staff. Top marks all around. The move to the new spot didn't slow them down a bit, so make sure you check the address before going if you haven't been in a few months.

Cookie's was a let down, I'll start out with that. I had all the hope in the world that this place…read morewas going to wow me, but alas, it was not to be. I'll start with some positives: you can order directly on their website (as opposed to being forced to use some fee-heavy service like DoorDash), they're quick, and the Barn Burner sandwich was good. Now for the cons. Either they messed my order up or I was the fool here and screwed up when ordering online, but the four piece tendies I got were plain and utterly spice-less. Being a pepper head and spice fiend, this was a bummer, but it forced me to see that the chicken wasn't seasoned very well. Outright bland one might say. The chicken also had a kind of toughness to it. Not from being really dry or anything, but more from the raw cuts of meat not being trimmed correctly, like I was eating bits of tendon or something. Hey when I order tendies I thought that was cutesy-short for tenders not tendons! They weren't bad, but they were not very good either. The Barn Burner sandwich was decent though, and at a level three of spice, it had a nice heat. I'll give them another chance down the road, but ultimately, in a city that has so many great fried chicken options (Triangle Spirits, S/T Hooligans, and Sisters and Brothers), it's going to be hard to make the decision to choose them again after the meal I had.

It's been a minute since I been on campus and we was craving some chgn so yah. Raising canes was a long ahh line so I was like hey I know a spot. Anyways first red flag should've been that after one of my buddies ordered he didn't even get a receipt so we had to go to the back and ask if it went through and the guy working like popped out from a corners headphones on like huh? And he was on his phone lmaoo and he's like oh yeah. Anyways oh yeah look at the chicken in my photo attached it's black. I got so sick. Actually like 3 out of the 5 of my buddies had tummy issues later this day. We was blowing up the toilets at the UW bookstore sksks. I believe the chgn is rotten and expired and they still served it bruh. It also tasted very off. I've unfortunately had expired chgn before and this is exactly what it tasted like. I mean we were all hungry when eating it so I was like eh okay. Kinda crispy. But bro the crispiness was just like idk how to describe but it was hiding what was rlly underneath lmaoo. Bruh. I feel sick. Omg. Typing this makes me feel sick. Like idk wtf how old that chgn was. Looks like they just tossed some old chgn in the fryer. Idk bruh. Also not to mention I saw many reviews after about how the chgn is like odd tasting and disgusting lmao it was truly disgusting. And ppl be finding hair in their food and yah idk oh even a few months ago someone found a roach in the bathroom?? Bish what LOL. It do look very dirty in the back too ngl. I took a lil peak when picking up my order loll. And yeah for someone who loves fried chicken bruh oh gawd. I'm dissapointed and disgusted.

Kind of reminded me of pickles but I think a lot of people who don't like pickles might prefer this! Service was so nice, asked if I had been before and it was my first time so I received a 10% discount. That being said it is on the pricier side, a regular chicken sandwich is ~$16 and the sliders were ~$11. Aside from the sauce in the sandwich, other sauces are 99 cents each, not sure about the amount you receive. There weren't any combos, as far as I'm aware, so a side of fries is also extra. The restaurant is combined w a drinks spot, it's pretty cozy inside and the decorations were very nice.

There were long hairs - MULTIPLE long hairs - literally encrusted into the breading that the chicken was fried with. I almost vomited after it got stuck in my throat (which is how I found it - I admittedly don't usually inspect my food super closely, but I also think I'm in the majority there.) After extracting the revolting piece of long hair attached to the chicken out of my esophagus, I inspected more closely and found more stuck in the breading. I couldn't eat the food without taking all of the crust off, which would defeat the purpose of fried chicken. I was also so nauseated afterwards that I couldn't eat anything, anyway, especially from the place that served me that. Yes, I did notice that the workers didn't wear hair nets. Maybe that's on me? But what was most upsetting is that I emailed them about the incident and NEVER heard a whisper back, let alone a suggestion of compensation for my inedible order,
