We came in on a busy night but were immediately seated, service was understandably slow as the restaurant was busy with patrons and pick-up/walk-in orders. I went here 5 years ago for a birthday and had a great experience. It is with a heavy heart that I have to say my last experience was less than stellar. Our server was incredibly nice and helpful when we sat down, and apologized for the madness which was a post-soccer-tournament rush. No worries there. She dropped off some frothy brews for us to sip on while we decided what to order. The pickle chips were totally fine, but came with some sort of extra watery ranch concoction. Just much too thin of a sauce. I ordered 3 tenders and got 6, which was cool because I was hungrier than I thought. But the bad part was that they were already cold. The texture was almost like they were fried the day before. Or like it was just chicken wrapped in a slice of bread and then put into a fryer. A very strange consistency for a chicken finger. It seemed like after that point our server left for the day. I get it, everyone needs a break! But then the only person there was racing everywhere to help out other patrons. Came here today because November crushed my soul (sales is hard sometimes) and so I took a walk to plot my comeback with no destination in mind. I asked them to take it back and chop it for me which they did no problem and I'm glad they did bc I would've blown it and gotten most of the salad on the bar at the counter. Honestly, one of the top 5 salads of my life. My friend Sierra made a sick salad at home yesterday that I loved but that's neither here nor there. I got 2 local beers - the bartender has kindly told me the name 3 times and I can't remember it. Primitive something. I'm not from here and I don't drink a lot of beer but when I travel I like to play the part of a beer guy. I've been coming to the Dome since it first opened in the early '90s, back when Karen launched it with just five sauces and a dream. Over the years, she became a dear friend and even sponsored our soccer team, FC Wingdome. For me, my friends, and my family, it's always been more than a restaurant--it was our second living room, a true haven. But things started to change when Consolidated Restaurants took over. Slowly, painfully, the magic began to fade. The real turning point was COVID. Prices skyrocketed to absurd levels--$13.95 for six wings? Seriously? The last bit of sanity was the 99¢ Monday wings (which used to be just 25¢ back in the day). I took my family for a Dome run last night, only to find even that promotion had been scrapped. To make matters worse, I was charged $38 for two Long Island iced teas--just a month ago, the same order was $24. And now there are burgers on the menu for $20 each. That's Tom Douglas pricing at a neighborhood wing joint. To top it off, they're still tacking on a 3% surcharge to every bill--a leftover from the pandemic days that should've been retired long ago. It feels like management is squeezing every last drop out of what used to be a vibrant, welcoming community spot. So, after 30 years and countless visits--some weeks we came multiple times--I'm saying goodbye. It's heartbreaking to see a once-thriving hub of hot wings, cold beer, and big fun now nearly empty on a Monday night. Came on a week night. Got some beer, wings, and waffle fries. The beer/cider menu had no prices. I know I can ask, but it annoys me when prices aren't just written on the menu. Why not? Isn't that part of the purpose of a menu? The seasonal flavor was a spicy orange. I asked the waitress to describe what that would taste like and she brought us a little cup of the sauce with celery in it to try. How nice! It was good but a bit too sweet & I didn't think I'd enjoy it on chicken that night, so I went with other flavors. The three flavors for the 18 wings we got were: 3-Alarm (menu says it's the most popular), Buffalo, and Western BBQ. The 3-Alarm was quite disappointing. There was no alarm at all! I guess I don't like what's popular. I did enjoy the Buffalo & bbq enough. The wings came with two dipping sauces (we got ranch). However, 18 wings cost almost $30... I dunno it seemed too pricy to me. Also, strange thing happened. After we put in our order, the paper menu was taken away as usual. When we received our food, I noticed the waffle fries did not come with the fry sauce that the menu stated they would come with. I didn't have the menu in front of me anymore, but when I mentioned this to the waitress, she denied it and said the waffle fries don't come with fry sauce. Huh? Then why does the menu say they come with fry sauce? I even went online later and saw it mentioned on the menu there (pictured below, I underlined the fry sauce inclusion part). I thought the garlic would be my favorite, but I actually think I enjoyed the cheese one the most. The 3-alarm is delicious, even as someone who can't really handle spice. The 2-alarm is also really yummy. They also have a monthly special that rotates. Our server was awesome; he was very quick with refilling drinks and wings. The bleu cheese did take a while to come out though, and we were charged $1 for it unexpectedly (we thought it came with the wings?) Went today for their .33 cent wing special and expected a wait. Showed up and they said it was a 45 minute wait. Decided to take a walk around the neighborhood until they called and an hour later ended up back at their establishment. Walked in to see where we were on the wait list and physically saw they had past our name and never called. Ask someone why and they told me I was next up and it would be only 5-10 minutes. I casually waited outside and 20 minutes went by and decided to check my number incase they wrote it down wrong. Nope it was correct and they said it was only 5 more minutes. After 10 minutes decided to leave and eat else where and now it's been 3 hours since and still never received a call my table was ready. Meaning if I had stayed I would have never seen seated. Just seems odd to skip someone on a waitlist, have that guest double check and then skip them multiple times after. read more

I went here for the ayce wings event on 4/20. I got to try all the sauces and have got to say. Don't underestimate the 7 alarm sauce. The 5 alarm sauce is not a good indicator of how spicy it will be. I took 2 bites, instantly sweated and experienced excruciating pain. To say my mouth was on fire is an understatement. My mouth was assaulted by battery acid and it went on for what felt like an eternity. The whole time, I just wished for it to end. The staff was nice enough to bring milk. If I stopped drinking it, the pain comes back though. The other wing sauces were great! There was even an employee created sauce that was like peanut sauce. Definitely check it out! read more
