I have often seen this place listed as a place to try burgers. I was lucky enough to finally try it for the first time. The woman working the register was so nice and sweet and very helpful! Their options for burgers all look nice and I appreciated how different they were from most burger places. They are very Seattle themed (hence the name) and it was nice how they decorated the place with the sports teams here. I also was thankful that they had pictures of each of the burgers to know what they looked like.I ended up going with the Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of fries. It may not be my new favorite but it's a decent burger if you find yourself near to one!

We beat the lunchtime crowd. I had the $9.49 Swiss Mushroom burger and fries. It's nestled into the back side of Coby's food and Dog Lounge. The parking lot on the upper side was needed so I had to circle the block to pull in right. I was fading fast since breakfast for me was at 6 am and we met up just up the hill from here (my buddy wanted skateboards for his birthday). Food was quickly done in a to go bag (just in case) but I sat outside to eat it. There's a nice little strip with outside tables and a wheelchair ramp for both businesses. Didn't bring our pooch so we didn't go in Coby's. Anyways, the burger was good. Lettuce was Romaine and NOT iceberg (which is the toilet paper of the garden) the tomato was thick cut but a little green (still like it that way) and the burger patty was thick (like 5' 7" Korean Amazon Model ItsEunchae's thighs) and the cheese was melted so the mushrooms stuck to the top of the patty. Not sure if any sauce was added as well but it was a bit messy to eat from the juicy tomatoes, but REALLY GOOD (Be forewarned and protect yourself from the splash zone when you bite in) The fries are medium home cut and fried in beef tallow with a little crispy coating.

Sounders and Mushroom & Swiss

Had the sounders burger and it was goood! I couldnt finish as it's a really big burger for me. My friend had the mushroom swiss. If you love burger with jalapenos this might be something you'd like to try! Their burgers are not that expensive too. We also had chocolate shake and strawberry shake. Staff are also nice and friendly :)

Cheeseburger add avocado (it's hiding)

I've been here 4 times because it's a block from my house. It's quiet inside. It's always mostly empty, not very welcoming (cashier lady included), but clean. This most recent time, I ordered a falcon grilled chicken sandwich and asked to exchange bacon for avocado - it was going to be a $1.75 up charge on an already $10.49 sandwich. I removed that - total with tip comes out to $13. It came out within 5 minutes; the previous times I've gone, wait time was closer to 15 minutes. It's too pricey for what you get - mediocre counter service and ok food. I've given it it's last shot and won't be back. I'd rather go for cheaper fast food option or a nicer experience for a slightly pricier burger at other spots in Seattle.

My daughter and I stopped here recently while in the area. We needed a burger fix and the 206 Burger Company delivered! I think I had the Double Cheeseburger with 2 patties and 2 slices of American Cheese. My daughter had the 206 burger which had avocado, bacon on a Brioche bun. We shared a side of tots which costs extra. I loved my burger as it was beefy, cheesy, oozy goodness. Very flavorful and prepared freshly. The tots were nice and hot as well. Everything was great and I'll come back here again when in the area and in need of a burger fix. Thanks 206 Burger Co!

I'm a fan of the burgers here! This is a solid place - nothing fancy, just good normal burgers with all the normal fixings you can think of. I really like their tater tots and onion rings - def get them! I enjoy their shakes as well - have tried their salted caramel and cookies & cream and both have been very yummy. Their prices are good and you can find coupons in the mail sometimes for buy one get one or some % off. I like that they have a large parking lot out front and there is one table outside for seating so you can eat your fresh food there after you order, def. needed during these times.

Oh yum

Great local burger and fries joint. I've been here three times and happiness abounded. Their ingredients for the 206 burger were all fresh, tasty and bountiful, with the bun being next-level good. I like that you get things Ala carte instead of automatically having burgers come with fries. Most times I just get the burger, but once I tried the side salad. It was large and full of nutrient rich veggies and greens which I really appreciated. They also have onion rings which look good, shakes and chicken and salmon burger choices. I'll try next time....I think.....but usually I go because I'm looking for that classic burger. They're fast friendly and very clean inside. They're open a little later than most similar places, as well.

Hamburger, Parmesan Garlic Fries

WOW! That is one beautiful looking burger, and it was delicious too. Garlic Parm fries were also amazing - they weren't stingy with the garlic or Parm at all!!! Super clean dining area with a great atmosphere. Paid around $16 total for my meal (not including tip).

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

He said, "No, you got the sandwich." I said, "Okay... so did you make the sandwich I ordered or not?" He said yes. I open it up and it's literally two chicken fingers, fries, and honey mustard. No Philly cheesesteak. So I asked, "If you didn't have Philly cheesesteak, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?" He said, "I don't know, I can put it on the side if you'd like." I said, "I thought you didn't have any Philly cheesesteak?" He walked away, came back with a side of Philly cheesesteak, and told me to put it on the sandwich myself. For $19, I shouldn't have to assemble my own sandwich -- especially after being told you didn't even have the main ingredient. Just be upfront with customers.

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.

I didn't expect much out of these, but they were surprisingly good. The rice is cooked perfectly, sticky and tender, yet each grain is distinctive and almost bouncy, giving great mouthfeel. The musubi seems to be dipped in a small amount of soy sauce, although not enough to cover the entire rice surface. The additional sodium isn't really needed in the first place due to the salty and meaty kick the spam on top gives the handheld snack. It's a classic combination for a good reason! (4/5) For the Food Walk special, they only give a small scoop of mac salad. I'm sure the normal side portion for $5.94 is much larger. The salad is unspectacular but solid. It's a little sweet, a bit peppery, and certainly very creamy. There's a bit of julienned carrot included that isn't particularly crunchy, being soaked in the mayo sauce. The macaroni itself isn't mushy or overcooked, so it still has some texture. (4/5) I don't usually expect much out of food court restaurants, but Aloha Plates definitely surprised me with their quality. It seems like a solid option for Hawaiian.

Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The progenitor, Taurus Ox, remains on my not recommended list though! Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

It is pretty small inside, but they've got a great little wooden patio with picnic tables and shade. We opted to sit out here, despite being pestered by wasps. The food was great for all adults involved. Portions of fries are generous and delicious, and come with fancy sauces (none of which appealed to me, but were appreciated by my family). The burgers are really inventive, so we all wanted to try the Lao. It's delicious. I did balk at $18 for just the burger, which is a smash patty (less beef) and I took the cheese, Mayo, and cilantro off. Eighteen dollars! No side, no drink. I might just be living in the past I guess It's really hard to order for kids here, imo. Even my non-picky kid was not about it and the toddler wouldn't try it. Thank goodness for fries, eh?
