I haven't heard of this place before until I saw it on one of the food apps and so I decided to give it a try. It's pretty close to where I work which is a bonus. I like that it's a bento box style where items are kept separately in the container so it doesn't get mixed. The items are fresh and clean and pretty good. I got the salmon with some grains and bok choy as well as an apple salad. Everything was pretty good. Prices are standard I think. The salmon did cost a little more than other protein but that makes sense. I did get a chance to talk to the lady for a bit to learn more about them and currently, their hours are limited to lunch time Monday through Friday but they are hoping to extend it in the future.

Eating here made me feel proud of myself for having such a healthy lunch. We both got the land box and i like how many components there are to it! The chicken's so flavorful (reminds me of chipotle chicken in the best way with the smokier flavor) the multiple types of salad with different dressings giving different flavor profiles, and i dug out some sourdough from my fridge that went with it all perfectly. The only part I didn't like as much was the mushroom and collard greens but that was just due to a personal taste preference I know I have.

This is such a great option for a healthy, fresh lunch! I built my own box - choosing turkey meatballs for protein, grains for base, and a variety of veg forward sides. Everything was light and fresh and super flavorful. The protein and grains were maybe a little boring, but I loved all the sides.

So I tried this place for the first time today. When you first walk in, the place is small but very nice. The aesthetic is very modern and open. The place looks very clean, the food looks and smells amazing, and all the people who work there are so kind. The employees really helped us go through the line and recommended some yummy options. I got the land box while my friend got the sea box. It was delicious. There are so many different options to choose from that I am definitely going to have to go back to try more. The chicken was perfectly cooked and all the sides were so good. Even the little side salad had such a yummy sesame vinaigrette. I will definitely be going back.

Yay for another healthy and quick option around the downtown hotel district! Got the sea box and land box, a few thoughts: Sea box: 4.5/5 - healthy, tasty, at the right price point. I think they're ramping up so the food is warm but not super fresh tasting, maybe just a touch dry. Sides (beets, zucchini noodles) are good. Land box: 3.5/5 - chicken way too dry, sides healthy but not great. Kale side was great, the potatoes surprisingly "too healthy tasting" :) I think a bit of added salt, oil, or just even moisture would help. I felt the price-quality ratio is a touch off right now, but hopefully they iterate in what's working and get even better! :)

I was so excited to eat here cause it's gluten free and my son has celiac disease. It was a great location and was so clean and comfortable. They had the bento box that you can build and pick what to put into it I really really liked how easy it was to figure out but they also were so friendly and helpful mostly the young lady working! I got the box with Tempeh veg and a great spruce sauce . My favorite was the beat salad so GOOD !!!!! The lentil cold side was also really good! My son got a side of chicken he liked it and it was a good price for the size Overall I really appreciate them opening a restaurant that's healthy and one that's totally GLUTEN FREE that's so hard to find :) Also we live in Everett so I brought my food home and the containers are SO sturdy and strong I really appreciate that!!!!

Wow, I haven't felt this healthy after eating out in a long time! Despite my preference toward heavy culinary expeditions and the late night snacks, I don't mind this healthy feeling, and it's actual rather refreshing. However, Bloom can always use some, well, tips on improving its food. First off, the bento box is actually pretty big and filling, which was a welcomed surprise. The pictures don't do it justice at all, as I initially thought this would be a measly meal. When I got to the proteins, I decided to splurge a bit and order the miso salmon for an extra $3. And unfortunately, it was a incredibly small piece of salmon that was over cooked and pretty dry. Quite a regretful decision of mine after eating it and definitely not worth the upcharge. The sides were actually really great! I'm not a fan of kale, but the dressing on it made the side salad actually pretty tasty and enjoyable. On top of that, they had pickled blueberries. Yea, blueberries. Say what?? And my goodness, the pickled blueberries were really good, and I could honestly order a jar of them. Qualm #2 though: I ordered a side of potatoes and they were not seasoned very well. On top of that, there were still long stalks of rosemary (I think?), or some sort of stalk that was inedible, and I spent more time picking them out of my mouth that actually enjoying the side. Which is a shame, because I love them potatoes. Overall, great concept and honestly a nice breath of fresh air and healthy eating in Seattle. Definitely catered toward the gym bro, vegan, or health nut, which I applaud. If I'm looking to go on a diet (which I honestly need) or just looking for a place for healthy dining, then I know where to go. But please improve on the protein selections, especially the fish!

Grilled tofu, soy curls, beets, broccoli, and japanese sweet potatoes

Great vegan options here! Love the marinated soy curls (teriyaki style I think) and grilled tofu with a curry sauce. Also got japanese sweet potatoes, bok choy, broccoli, indian dal (lentils), beet salad. Everything was really well made, and not overly oily or salted. Finally a place I can get lunch from and still meet my macros and nutrition targets!

The coolest thing since a bag of chips. Healthy, gluten free, dairy free and red meat free menu. The coolest since I tend to avoid dairy, red meat and gluten. Menu is simple as they gave freshly prepared items. You can choose their land box, vegan box, bloom box, sea box or built your own. I built my own: Grilled chicken, curried cauliflower, bloom grain, Japanese sweet potatoes and apple salad! With peppers! Japanese sweet potatoes are amazing as well as the apple salad. Curried cauliflower too. Chicken was a little dry but good. It was a delicious box! They have so many options. If I still live closer ( used to live 2 blocks from here), this will definitely be my daily meal.

Thank yelp and this facinating upscale fine food Bloom for Elite experience! great food and great staff. It's perfect for people on diet and want to keep fit because they offer an upscale yet approachable "fast-fine" dining experience that uplifts the body and soul. They have many options for base, protein and vege. I love the curry cauliflower and sweet potato, also the red onion test great. These three are all with a little sweet! Also, their bento box, a traditional meal format are improved to be coloful and full of surprise with nutritious, dilicious and covenient meal.

Stopped by Bloom a few mins before closing and opted for making my own box based on the ingredients that were available. I got the brown rice (was a little undercooked) wish I could try their dirty rice, followed by vegan curry meatballs (delicious), miso cauliflower (amazing), bloom potatoes, sour cherry beetroot and fresno pickles. Every item we had in our box was delicious (except for the undercooked brown rice). Wish I could try some meat dishes but my bad they ran out of it all. It is a tad bit on the expensive side $15 for a box and $18 for the seafood box. But this box is a perfect nutritional lunch box with good portions for one person. Service was great and I was out in about 7mins. Liked their food. To give them a try.

    Daniel L.

Delicious build your own bento box. From the pictures I thought the portions looked small, but actually the box is bigger than it looks and comes with a lot of food. On top of that there are lots of options & tasty seasonal variations. And this place is very dietary restriction friendly Each dish was very well seasoned and unique in its own way - the pickled blue berries and curried cauliflower were my favorites! Will definitely be back.

New and refreshing lunch place around the area . They have a fresh and healthy option for lunch! I tried their Land box which contains an option of grains/rice, chicken, and a bunch of different types of vegetables. I would have to say the protein is good but not as awesome as the veggies. Especially the potato salad that they made was bomb! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking the bento box to go. Their box is super sturdy to take home with you.

It ended up being so tasty that I came here twice within a few days. The first visit, I got veggie tempura appetizer and chirashi rice bowl. A bit on the pricier side, I still wanted to give it a try. The veggie tempura are actually not separate pieces of vegetables in tempura, but kakiage (shredded veggies fried together) - still pretty good though. The chirashi rice bowl was fantastic - beautiful presentation as the fish came on the side, pretty fresh, and I appreciated the small details, like the wasabi stem inside the scallop and the shiso leaf/sprouts that accompanied the dish. The service was fantastic as well, considering I had a table for one during lunch hour. My second visit I was on the go, so I got the Classic sushi burrito, which again was maybe a little pricier than I would like, but it was worth it. Rice, fish/poke, crab mix, cucumber, avocado - it all mixed nicely wrapped within the rice paper outside, and was convenient to eat for takeout. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're around the area and feel like treating yourself to more than a soup/salad/sandwich...

We came here mostly for one thing: I absolutely could not wait for their gluten-free vegan chick'n pot pie. A pie i'd been waiting months to try. A pie unlike any other pie. A pie that I still think about to this day. We walked straight into a Cardi B drag show. And by "walked into" I mean we opened the door and Hot Pink Shade sashayed right in front of us. It was exactly the kind of welcome we love. It was also the first green flag in a sea of green flags at Life On Mars. I could barely sit still as I waited to order my GF/VG pot pie. We got the drinks outta the way (a peach hard cider for me and a fancy-schmancy cocktail for the lady). I was positively GIDDY when Anna came to take our order and I blurted out chick'n pot pie excitedly. I nearly died when she said they didn't have any. Normally it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was from out of town and had literally been craving this damn pie for months! And I lied, I didn't nearly die but I DID nearly cry and that's almost as bad. Even the bestie lamented about what a let down this was. Anna. Dear, sweet Anna. We must have looked really hard up because this sweet baby angel offered to ask the cooks if they could whip one up special just for me. Let me tell you why this is a big deal: For one, she didn't need to do that. That's going above and beyond, and she was such a graceful little buttercup when she did it. Second, making a gluten free biscuit is a finicky, precise, detailed process. It sucks, honestly, and I don't blame them for not having them every day. I nearly cried when she came back and told us the cooks said YES. And this time i'm not lying. It was beyond the type of customer service i'm used to. It was.... humane. It was...empathetic. It was...totally first world problems but it meant so much to me! Especially since Anna said it had been a DAY and she was at her wits end. For her to have a rough day and still have the grace and compassion to make my stupid GF/VG chick'n pot pie dreams come true.....well, yeah, it made me a bit teary eyed. The pot pie was delicious, as expected. It was nostalgic and comforting, like a big hug in a bowl. The flavors were rich and deep, the biscuit soft and flaky; it was one of the most delicious things i've tasted on my GF/VEG journey. Between the food, the drinks, the customer service and the drag show......this was five stars all around. No doubt. I don't see the GF chick'n pot pie on their menu anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I hope it comes back, i'll be checking. And when it pops up again, so will I. Thank you, Anna. Thank you to the cooks on 2/19/26. Thank you to Hot Pink Shade, ISIS and King Leo Mane.

This comes in a very large cup, with layers of matcha ice cream, cornflakes, vanilla whippedd cream, and mochi at the bottom. I'll be honest that the matcha ice cream wasn't my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of matcha in general, but I have had examples where the sweetness balances with the earthiness better - and this felt like it leaned too much into the earthiness side of it. It just tasted off when mixed with everything else. What was exceptional, though, was the second and third layers. Mixing the cornflakes with the vanilla whipped cream/yogurt layer was awesome. The crunchy texture provided with the creamy vanilla flavor really worked - and it felt like what the essence of a parfait is with the textural and flavor contrast. I think I would've liked this a lot more if the top had been vanilla ice cream instead - submitting a request to have that as an option on the menu. This was pretty expensive. It cost 14 dollars for a single parfait. That's just a crazy amount. I know it's pretty big, but it's simply overpriced. Overall, it's a decent but not very practical dessert. 5.5/10

The food was good, the service was fun, and our kids absolutely loved coming here. We went back yesterday and were honestly shocked at how much has changed. 1. Combo A has been gutted. The old Combo A was around $34 per person and included vegetables. Now, to get roughly the same meal, you're looking at closer to $50 per person. This isn't simply a price increase--they removed much of what made the combo a good value. 2. You're now charging for the condiment bar. Want soy sauce? That's an extra charge. For a family of four, getting access to basic condiments adds roughly another $30. Charging extra for soy sauce at a hot pot restaurant feels incredibly nickel-and-dime. 3. The family-friendly experience has disappeared. No toys for the kids at the table. No bibs. Many of the little touches that made Haidilao unique--and justified paying a premium--are gone. 4. Even the claw machines have changed. The kids used to receive one token for every $10 spent, so a $100 meal meant 10 tokens and they could almost always leave with a prize. Now that same spend gets only four tokens. It may seem trivial to adults, but for kids it's one of the highlights of the visit. Instead of leaving excited, they leave disappointed. What puzzles me is that these cuts can't possibly save very much. Bok choy is inexpensive. The toys probably cost about a dollar each in bulk. Yet all of these changes together make the experience feel 25-40% more expensive. Our family of four would now easily spend over $200 for dinner. Sorry, but this isn't a high-end steakhouse. The robot servers are neat, but they're not "$200 dinner" neat. The biggest disappointment isn't even the higher bill--it's that Haidilao is no longer fun for our kids. That was the entire reason we kept coming back. We happily spent around $1,500 a year here because everyone in the family enjoyed it. Now we'll spend that money somewhere else. Maybe the restaurant is packed enough that they don't care. Maybe they've intentionally decided to stop catering to families with young kids. That's certainly a business decision they can make. But if that's the strategy, they've lost our family as customers. It feels like the company is sacrificing long-term loyal customers to save a few dollars per table. That's disappointing, because Haidilao used to be one of our favorite restaurants.
