Messy and all smushed on top when I picked up :/
    Amanda D.

Super bummed with the cake and cupcakes I ordered. When I picked them up, they were stacked on top of each other and smashed and the cake did not have enough frosting and chunks were missing from the sides of it. It was not worth the money and did not look professional. Huge bummer for my daughter's birthday. I tried to contact but phone says voicemail full and emails not replied to. Poor customer service and experience. Tasted fine. Nobody complained. Would not recommend.

Stopped in here on the way to the Cap hill farmers market for a snack. I am gf and it is always such a treat to go somewhere that is all gluten free!!! I had their quiche and my friend had some of the hand pies. I tried both and they were lovely. The crust for both was flaky & flavorful and the fillings were delicious. When I checked in on Yelp I got a $5 off coupon which the cashier said they couldn't use :(. If you can't use it or they changed their mind about the Yelp offer they should remove it from Yelp.

A wonderful little bakery that is gluten-free! There are a couple small tables inside and the decoration was comfortably hip, with hanging whisk lights, tarp fabric plants, and cookie cutter string lights hanging at the window. They have a large selection of sweet and savory pastries, breads, cakes and more along with drinks with creative names like "Bioluminescence". I settled for a jalapeño cheddar quiche and a vanilla lemon donut; both were so tasty! They warmed the quiche up for me and it was flavorful and spicy, though the dough was a bit soggy. The donut was pure melt-in-your-mouth crumbly bliss. My friend loved her chocolate eclair and muffin. I would be happy to return to try their tiramisu and maybe enjoy a dinner of my own with their frozen pizza dough!

    Apple pie

We were very excited to receive a GF apple pie to eat with Thanksgiving dinner from my niece. Thank goodness we had whipped cream to eat with it because it was full of apples but yet the filling was super dry. Apple pies are supposed to be gooey in the middle but the apple slices were dry and the apples weren't peeled so I ended up having to spit multiple pieces on Apple skin out of my mouth while I was eating it. The crust was a little hard but good for GF. The filling was however very disappointing especially for a $30 pie.

    Lemon Bar ($4.5)

Gluten-Free baked goods tend to have a sandier, denser texture which I actually like! I came around noon on a Saturday and it looked like they were out of lots of items - including the Millionaire's bar I wanted to try! Picked up a lemon bar ($4.50). It was VERY crust heavy (only a thin layer of lemon) and not too sweet and nicely lemony. I am obsessed with crust so this was 100% my jam :) Love that they are an allergy friendly business and would love to come back and try more baked goods!

Do you have any egg free options?

Hi there! We usually have a decent range of vegan options at our bakery. Some of those items include chocolate raspberry cake, chocolate chip cookies, several flavors of donuts, bread loaves, and pizza dough.

Do your baked goods use tree nuts as a gluten substitute? I am also intolerant to tree nuts 😔

Hi Matt! We do not use any tree nut flours. Our flour blend contains millet flour, sorghum flour, tapioca starch, and potato starch. The products that we offer containing tree nuts are our Chocolate Pistachio Cake and Pumpkin Pecan Muffins. As long…

They're going for healthy fast casual style counter service with an "ethic fusion" flair. Decent number of options including vegetarian, vegan, etc. It's not cheap but the servings are large: big enough for 2 meals for a lot of people. The food tends to be pretty heavy/oily, which contributes to how filling it is but also leaves you feeling weird after your meal. Flavor is otherwise pretty good. They also seem to run out of ingredients pretty often. Overall it's ok for a quick lunch but not my favorite. The shape of the restaurant is clearly intended for take out, but they do have some seating along the windows.

All the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The portions were quite good too. I was very impressed by the flavor despite the gluten free element - cliche but not everywhere that does gluten free does it well. This place does! They also had a unique canned drink selection too. Service - they were very patient and explained everything. They also were speedy and made some solid recommendations. Ambiance - there's a few areas to sit down, but not too many. I think it's more a grab and go spot based on the fast food style set up and packaging (which is all compostable!). It's also only open for lunch on weekdays so that makes sense for the working crowd. The little raised tables facing the window give a nice lighting and view though and the decor is modern and bright.

The fact that this is gluten free (which is fantastic for all GF folks in our family) is even more Amazing how they got everything right with the crunch and flavor. Potato skins and garlic rice were good too, though less garlic would have been better. Could easily make this into a garlic egg fried rice and larger portions. The staff were super attentive and took time to explain everything to first time visitors. Steady stream of take out orders as seating is limited. Would come back to try the other sides too. Happy to report no reaction for gluten free member of our family, top marks for safety.

We came in around 1:45pmish and it wasn't crowded. They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions. Tempting pastry case with savory and sweet choices, the usual bevs, as well as, cocktails. Vibrant place to visit solo or meetups with others. The 16oz iced mokka (mocha) I had was well crafted.
