    Sad sorry looking sandwich
    Phuong B.

I haven't felt such a strong affinity to give a restaurant 1 star review as local bigger burger in a long time. For $15 bucks, I got a sad looking chicken sandwich that did not taste like chicken and cold hard unmelted cheese. In fact, the chicken was so bad, I wouldn't be able to tell it was chicken in a blind taste test. The only thing this place deserves is for it to cease to exist.

We tried the local bigger burger in cap hill and enjoyed our meal very much! We tried the double bacon cheddar burger meal, a smash burger, and a kids burger meal. The bacon cheddar burger was our favorite! The fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. Also did the milkshakes which were all really good! I did the strawberry chocolate and my kiddos Oreo was prob my fav. Aside from the milkshakes they also had a nice menu of mocktails and Italian sodas, lots of variety! It was soooo much food and we had lots of leftovers, which we took home for later. Love that everything is locally sourced and made in house, and should mention everything is certified halal. Great burger spot in cap hill! Def will be back for more burgers and shakes.

Average burger, nothing fancy but not too shabby. Onion rings are pretty yummy! Place is clean and staff are attentive

Food - Burgers are a little dry but fries are nice and crispy. Shakes are well made, nice and rich. I would say the food is slightly on the pricy side compared to the quality but is very promising. Food is halal and offer beef alternatives for typical pork based items. Service - Fast service and employees bring the food to you or to counter. Self order at the front. Ambiance - Open concept with high ceilings. Open late and a nice place to just hang out with friends for some late night food. Overall I would come back for more!

    Hot dog

I just ordered from this restaurant and I ordered Nit their burger, but their hot dog. First of all I am Not a spicy food guy and this hot dog isn't good for me, but might be good for someone else. I also added a small fries. All the food came from delivery were cold and so I had to nuke them. I am Not a fan for these food. Hot dog still burning my mouth and so no more of these.

I recently stopped by Local Bigger Burger, and overall, I had a great experience. It's a clean, fast-casual spot conveniently located with ample parking right out front, which was a huge plus on a busy Seattle street. All halal, locally-sourced, and zabiha-standard meats really stood out as a thoughtful touch--knowing that even the bacon and sauces are fully halal-friendly gave me extra peace of mind. Plus, the staff were genuinely friendly--cheerful, helpful, and quick to greet us at the counter. For food, I tried the wings, which came in generous portions and were nicely seasoned (I especially liked the dipping sauces). The Bacon Cheddar Burger was solid--juicy, flavorful, and stacked with four pieces of beef bacon, Tillamook cheddar, garlic aioli, and fresh produce on a soft brioche bun If I could nitpick, I'd say minor details could be improved--perhaps a little more variety in sauce options or a bit more crisp texture to the wings--but that's more personal taste than a fault.

Cozy American-style Diner | Fully Zabiha Halal | Now Under New Ownership! We stopped by Local Bigger Burger and left completely stuffed and so happy! The restaurant is now under new ownership, and everything is Zabiha (hand-slaughtered) -- even down to the sauces and cheese -- which is a huge win for halal foodies. I got the Sweet & Spicy Hawaiian Burger -- juicy, sweet, and with just the right kick. My husband had the Beacon Cheddar Burger -- smoky and cheesy perfection. My daughter loved her Hawaiian Burger too -- flavorful and filling! We also ordered buffalo and lemon pepper wings -- crispy, well-seasoned, and delicious. And the chocolate milkshake? So thick and creamy -- the perfect finish to a big meal. Bonus points for the spacious interior, photo menu on the wall that makes ordering easy, and the buns stamped with the restaurant logo -- such a nice touch!

I didn't read the reviews before ordering from this place but I'm glad I didn't get food poisoning? People talk about Local Bigger Burger all the time so I wanted to try it. My burger though was very unimpressive. I ordered it pink but got it fully cooked and dried. It looked and tasted like a frozen patty. Fries were soggy. The taste itself is not bad but I wouldn't pay this price for a burger nor would I order from this chain

Very surprised that i haven't been here until now! Wednesdays are half off all burgers... and darn are they juicy and good. Went for the grilled chicken burger with regular fixins, added cheddar cheese, and lettuce wrap, it was very fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for my next burger fix! There was no line when i went in and it was super easy to order, the staff was nice and got cooking right away. $12 for my combo since it was 50% off burger Wednesday! I did takeout but they have lots of seating available inside.

It's my second time here. I tried the Spicy Smokin BBQ burger. I love everything but the patty. It was dry and has a kebab texture and taste. I was aiming for the juicy meaty texture. If you like well-done and kebab like, definitely give this place a try. The fries are good just like the first time. The staff is friendly! Also, it's HALAL for my lovely Muslims looking to try a new halal burger joint!

L to R - Smash burgers and Crispy chicken burger,

I've visited Local Bigger Burger several times, and the quality and taste have been consistently excellent. Each visit has matched the last, which really speaks to their standards. You can tell the patties are made fresh, whether beef or chicken, with great flavor and texture every time. It's rare to find a place that stays this consistent without cutting corners. It has definitely become one of my regular go-to spots.

    Sahba Z.

Burgers are very tasty and fresh. We ordered 5 different burgers and all were delicious. This place is recently changed ownership and reopen on September 6th. I love the burgers here and not to mention strawberry milkshake was great as well. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming guy. Seating is clean.

    Maxamed M.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I really appreciated the friendly and welcoming customer service. The restaurant is also clean and spacious, making for a pleasant atmosphere.

The clams and mussels with Lao sausage were hands down my favorite dish - so savory, unique, and packed with flavor. I know it would be something my mom would have loved to try! The collard greens with neck bone meat were another standout. Every bite was unforgettable. The wait here is no joke, so I highly recommend making a reservation. I think we waited an hour and half to get seats for two, but worth it! We were fortunate enough to be seated after closing, and despite the long wait, the staff remained incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. So shoutout to the staff! The only dish that didn't wow me was the trout - it was a little mild and could've used a squeeze of lemon to brighten the flavors. But honestly, everything else was some of the best food I've had in a long time! And I am a real foodie. If you appreciate cultural fusion, Communion is an absolute must visit in Seattle!

There were people waiting outside when we got there and only a few tables were seated. They seemed to space out the seatings to give the kitchen time to prepare food for the tables. We had high hopes as we love Southern food. We ordered the Sweet Potatoes Hoe Cakes, Mac N' Cheese, Classic Greens, UNC's Wings, Pork Chops, and the Grilled Berbere Steak. The Hoe Cakes were the best 4/5 but tasted like buttery cornbread, good, but nothing special. The Mac N' Cheese was 3.5/5 and were tasty and very cheesy. The classic greens were tasty but came in a small ramekin 3/5. The UNC's wings were okay, tasty and crunchy, but we've had better wings at dozens of restaurants 3/5. The pork chops were decent but dry 2.5/5. The steak was a bit fatty, gristly and bland 2.5/5. A three rating being average. Service was attentive but nobody bothered asking how the food was or we would have openly told them. For the price, there are much better options elsewhere. Don't waste your time, money or stomach on Communion.

Unfortunately, tonight's experience was extremely disappointing, specifically because of the service we received from Darlene. We tried the shrimp yakisoba in addition to our wings and mozzarella sticks and unfortunately did not like the flavor of the yakisoba. The frustrating part is that Darlene only asked us one time if everything was okay--and she didn't even come to our table. She asked while checking the thermostat, and at that point we had only eaten our wings and some mozzarella sticks. We had not even tried the yakisoba yet. We waited approximately 15 minutes for her to come back and check on us, but she never did. I eventually went to the counter to get a box. Since she never came back to our table, we also went to the counter to pay, which is different from our previous visits where we were checked out at the table. We explained to Darlene that we didn't enjoy the yakisoba because of the flavor. Instead of simply acknowledging the feedback, she responded rudely that we needed to tell her when she checked on us so it could have been fixed. That was frustrating because she never checked on us after we actually tried the food. How were we supposed to tell her we didn't like something when we hadn't even tried it yet? Then, when I went to tap my phone to pay, Darlene said, "But you're not paying for it, so it doesn't matter." I told her she was being rude, and rather than de-escalating the situation, she began arguing with me and made it seem like we were somehow at fault for not saying anything during the first time she asked. We asked to speak with a manager, and Darlene told us that she was the manager. We weren't upset simply because we didn't like a dish. We understand that not every menu item is going to be everyone's taste. What we expected was basic customer service and an opportunity to actually communicate our concerns. Instead, we were blamed for not reporting an issue that we literally hadn't discovered yet, followed by a rude response when we attempted to explain it. The wings are still excellent, and we've had good experiences here before, which is why tonight was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, Darlene's handling of the situation left a much worse impression than the food itself.

Closing at 12 AM on weekdays and 2 AM on weekends, it is a pretty reliable place to enjoy with alcohol and Korean bar food. They're known primarily for their chicken though - their wings and boneless chicken are primarily advertised on their menu. We ended up getting both of these to try, with their signature sauce. Both were pretty solid. The wings weren't the crispiest, but they were very meaty - each one was quite large. The sauce coated each one without dripping too much, and the signature sauce, which isn't quite yangmyeon and tastes a bit more like sweet and soy rather than sweet and spicy, is decent but unmemorable. The boneless chicken was similar. It was very meaty and saucy, but missing much of that crisp and powerful sauce flavor, opting instead for more of a milder approach. I did still like this though. More importantly, both these meals worked as shareables to be consumed over soju. They did an excellent job of functioning within their purpose. The price for the chicken is decent, but I will note the price for alcohol is pretty crazy. 18 dollars for a bottle of soju? Overall, even though its not the main purpose, you'll have a good time with the chicken here. 7.75/10
