She ordered from the kids meal some chicken strips and fries. 2 strawberry milkshakes, and a chicken sandwich with bacon, bbq sauce and onion rings for me. My sandwich was all right, my expectations were low and it beat those by far. The kids fries were extremely spicy, no way could any child under 16 eat those, I was having a hard time having more than a couple. My friend and I were having a Seattle day around Capitol Hill and decided to stop by for dinner after our wine tasting. When we arrived, there wasnt much dining in. I ordered the Impossible Burger with Tots and my friend ordered the Crispy Chicken sandwich with fries. My burger tasted dry. The only sauces available were ketchup which we used for our tots and fries. I didnt care for mine that I didnt dare finish. Came here on a Wednesday night for their half price deals. With the half off deal, a 1/2lb Bigger burger would be $5 (instead of $10). Probably one of the best value + deals in Cap Hill. I got the smokes fire bigger burger (normally $13, but was $7 with half off) which came with 2 patties, spicy bbq sauce, cheese, and bacon. The burger tasted pretty okay for fast casual food - although the burgers took a bit to come out. I haven't tried too many other burger places in the area, but Lil Woody's was better tasting. The 1/2lb burger was ok sized - probably not enough by itself for a meal. With a side it was pretty filling. Sweet potato fries were shoestring style and pretty tasty. I'll probably only come here on Wednesdays because the half off deal is pretty sweet and some of the best value you can probably get on the hill. I wouldn't come back if I had to pay full price. They have a lot of open tables available to enjoy your meal. As time passed more people came in. Most people were finishing up a night of drinking or hanging out with some friends. I could see this place as popular with the younger crowds on the weekend. In terms of food I was not fully impressed. The chicken sandwich was very bland and not filling. Storytime: For the majority of that wait we were blessed to watch an employee scooping a BBQ-esque red paste out of a bucket with an ice-cream scoop. After (literally) 20+ minutes of glacial work, she was able to messily fill a single small squirt bottle. She had no gloves on. It was impressive! This was all done in front of an order window which became increasingly overfilled with orders that nobody was passing on to customers. The guy taking orders was doing what he could to keep up with things on his own but. Oooof. This was a mess. If you're into restaurant schadenfreude this is a great place to hang out for a while. I waited 20 minutes for my food and got suspicious why it was taking so long. The cashier was gone (I think he was a younger guy) and the cook came out and asked if he could help me.
