So good! Second time going (can't believe I forgot to post a review after the very first night, must have been subliminally gatekeeping) and it was just as good. We ordered in this time and got the beef mantu, beef kabob, and gyro roll. sorry i dont remember the actual titles, but im sure you'd be able to figure it out. The last time we went, we also ordered the muhammarah with some naan and it was divine! I could eat it with a spoon. Service was speedy and people were kind. Ambiance is stunning. The Turkish lanterns create such a cozy vibe. Anyway, i have nothing more to say except everything was great. My only feedback is that I think the rice could be cooked a bit better/softer. Pro tip: if your desi parents are visiting and you dont want to go out for more desi food, take them here and order all the kabobs. Parking: street parking, best bet is the neighborhood a few blocks away.

The restaurant is colorful, warm, and spacious. The service is attentive, quick, and helpful. Our Server was so welcoming and happy to recommend her favorites from any section. All of our needs were met and then some. She really added to the lovely experience. The kitchen is incredibly efficient. The food came out at a great pace and it tasted just as delicious as it looked. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful as well. I couldn't recommend Turko Cafe enough. They have a great variety of dishes and flavors. You can bring your meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegan friends with confidence that everyone can find a dish they'll enjoy. I haven't had a chance to truly explore Turkish cuisine and wow, I've been missing out. What a great introduction to a food full of flavors. Also, their baklava is the best I've ever had. I can wait to come back to try more.

Great Turkish restaurant with the best Beyti chicken wraps that I've had in Seattle. Authentic vibe and friendly staff make the dining experience exquisite.

Beautiful yet cozy restaurant with a wide ranging menu of Turkish food. Service is really friendly, and our waiter ended up upselling us on our choices because his recommendations sounded good and genuine. He also offered alterations based on food preferences. I ordered the grandfather beyti and it was surprisingly filling. It was my first time trying a beyti and I enjoyed the balance of flavors. Would like to come back and try more food here.

The decor really sets the mood. It's so beautiful inside and unique. The service was a little slow but once they got started, the food came out super fast! Our favorite dish was the lamb and the wrap but everything was delicious! We also tried the Turkish coffee - wish I could have this treat every day honestly!

Goat Cheese Fries. Came out very hot (temperature) but very bland and no flavor

The decor of this atmosphere is really colorful and bright but IMHO, the food is unmemorable and not very flavorful. I am a little puzzled by the reviews. There are better local Turkish restaurants than this one. I ordered the Manti dumplings, sour cherry and lime fizz drink, the cauliflower appetizer, fries with feta cheese and the milky baklava. The drink was good but pricey for $7. The cauliflower appetizer was just mediocre. Again I had hoped the sauce would be flavorful but it was bland over soft vegetables. The manti dumplings lacked flavor. I had to ask for more sauces (tomato and yogurt sauce) just to eat it so that was rather disappointing. The milky baklava was different and I did like that it wasn't sweet and the creaminess added more of a balance to typical crusty baklava. The service was decent and the waitress did a good job checking up on us which others have stated they haven't had good service on their visits. The verdict? Cafe Turko wasn't inedible but it wasn't good either so I don't plan on returning again.

This restaurant has spacious space. I went on a Wednesday evening. It was not crowded. I got good service. Adana kebab is amazing. It's my favorite here. I also ordered freshly brewed tea. I enjoyed my meal. For dessert, I ordered milky bakhlava. Everything was great.

Love cafe turko! Been dining here religiously for years now. We always start off with their mixed hummus platter - spinach, sweet potato, beet and regular hummus served with warm pita bread. For mains we got the grandfather beyti and ali nazik with lamb (melts in your mouth lamb) and both the dishes were flavorful and tasty. We also ordered their special turkish coffee in chocolate orange flavor and it did not disappoint. Service was great and as you can see in photos the ambience immediately transports you to the streets of turkey with all those colors and local decor. Love this place and highly recommend them.

What a great place! We walked in and were seated right away. The decor was so amazing. Beautifully colored fabrics with the windows open, which let the breeze flow through the restaurant. Our server was so kind. The other staff members and the owner were all extremely friendly. The food was delicious. It came out super quickly and we didn't leave a single bite on our plates!

Such a sweet spot right off the main strip in Fremont near the brewery. Good bike ride stop too. Great food, kind service, and a fun ambiance. Loved the big open windows on a nice day.

I've been here several times and this is the first time I've tried the sparkling beverage (so refreshing). I normally order the shish kebabs (best turkish dish ever), but decided to be healthy and got the feel good salad instead. The dressing was a bit too sour/sweet for me, so I didn't order the right item this time around. But overall, I love the appetizers that we've ordered (dips and olives). Everything was made with fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Lots of tables on the weekends, surprisingly not crowded on a Saturday, and I love looking at their ceiling (nicely decorated with turkish lamps, mirrors, and art).

We went on a saturday afternoon and found a table immediately. Following are the items which we ordered. Velvet sip (nice and hot to have on a rainy day), Goat cheese fries (nothing special), Muhammara (loved it when served with warm fresh pita), Ali Nazik Mania (chicken tasted better than the lamb), Kiymali Pide (loved the flavorful ground beef on the Turkish pizza) Service was good, and the ambience was good. Parking is behind the restaurant (through an alley) in a garage, but we didn't know that and parked on the street. Will definitely visit this place again to try other items on the menu.

Food was excellent, so was the service. We'll be back. We've been to Turkey and it was just like we had when we were there.

Ambiance is awesome! Lots of people so make your reservations like us. We ordered a shared appetizer - pita bread and all 6 kinds of toppings hummus, tzatziki, and all they offer. Each one of us had an entree ranging from lamb burger, chicken, mushroom and lamb kebabs - all so good. It was so tender and tasty. Enough to fill us. Love it! So good! This is a lively place, always filled with a lot of upscale looking customers. So the atmosphere is quite loud, but fun in a buzzing way. We were seated quickly, as we had reservations. Our server Charlie, was engaging, friendly and on top of things. We ordered the shared dips---olive tapenade, eggplant, hummus, tatziki with some warm pita triangles. They're all good and a fun way to start the dinner. We each had kebabs---lamb, chicken and mushroom. All good, moist and tender all poured with a jig of ouzo on a hot skillet. The onions in the bottom get browned and crusty, so good to eat. One had a lamb burger which looked juicy and served with delicious mound of fries sprinkled with rosemary. Food here has always been awesome. Skipped dessert as we had homemade cookies to eat at our next stop.

Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

I loved the vibrant taste and extravagant use of garlic in al the dishes. We even brought our 1 year old here and she loved a lot of the food even some of the more flavorful ones. I think I can echo that some of the grilled meat can be a little dry or rough. I do think that might just be the cut of meat that is used and maybe that's how it might taste? But I have faith that with some different meat cuts those can come out a lot juicier. Even at 4 stars, I do suggest anyone reading this to go check this place out. Its definitely a party of flavors.
