Fast service, everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Great price for the portion size, which usually lasts me two meals. The flavors were balanced and satisfying without being overwhelming, and you can really tell they put care into preparing the food. Everything came out hot and quickly, and the quality definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

One of my all time favorite spots in Seattle! I love coming here, whether for a meal or a late night snack. The staff are always so friendly and it is always lively here, especially towards the later hours of the day. Grab and go style, but they have a bunch of seating inside. My favorite thing to order here is by far the Aladdin fries- french fries with choice of beef/lamb or chicken, feta cheese, and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce here is so delicious, and all the different parts of the dish go so well together. The serving portions are also so large! Amazing quality and value of food. There is also a related, more fast food type store connected, I also like their loaded fries with chicken a lot :)

After a late night out it's the spot to grab some food. They messed up my order sadly but still got to enjoy whatever they gave us.

That was delicious! A hole in the wall. We went to visit the cherry blossoms and passed by this restaurant. It had a nice Covered area outside with picnic tables where we were able to sit with our pup! We got the chicken shawarma and beef/lamb shawarma, and Greek fries! They were all delicious. When you bite into the shawarma, it's crunchy! Perfect amount of sauce too. Very tasty! According to my UW student, this is a go to place for her and her friends.

My son has been talking about Aladdin since he's been in high school. He always goes here for the Shawarma his favorite! So I haven't had the chance to try it so I wanted to try the Gyro. It's been hard to find a decent Gyro place to go to. The lamb was seasoned to perfection and the NAAN I really love the taste and texture it was the best I have had in a long time. I going back soon for sure! pictured below

I love the gyros, shawarmas and fries here. They are open late and everything I've ordered always tastes amazing. The portions are fulfilling.

My boyfriend has been coming here for years and will go out of his way for their gyros. This was my first time! Everything was perfect. Fries were hot and a huge portion. The cashier was super sweet and welcoming. I loved that he was playing some old school country and then switched it up to more middle eastern music. Great vibes.

Late to the Aladdin Gyro-Cery party, but after it being recently vetted by The Homie and his good friend, I figured it was time to check it out. Plus this business and adjacent burger joint is open daily from 10am to 2am the next day along University Way (The Ave) in Seattle's University District. It has seating indoors, as well as, covered outdoor sidewalk seating too. Drove there with The Homie on 5/26/24. I asked are you sure you want to eat here since he had just dined here twice recently. I got an emphatic yes. So we ventured out close to 10pm and got nearby street parking. Must of found that sweet spot, because after ordering and finding a table, a very long line had formed at the ordering counter. The line was out the door by the time we were leaving. Good thing about such places is that food turns over fast and frequently. I chose 9A Lamb & Beef Gyro - loaded pita with fresh shredded lettuce, bit of onion, tender slices of meat, and tzaziki sauce. Add most with a fork then polished it off with the pita. Wanted to eat and not wear my gyro. The Homie chose 11B Chicken Shawarma - again another loaded wrap with generous amount of grilled succulent chicken. He had this twice before and can attest that it has been consistent whether eaten at lunch time or late night. He also ordered Aladdin's Fries. I kid you not, it is a large takeout box full of fries which he customized with with beef & lamb gyro meat and garlic sauce. Previously he had also added feta cheese. Definitely shareable. Pro tip: If you pay in cash, you get free Kirkland/Costco bottles of water. They take debit/credit cards at the ordering counter. Grab additional napkins too. Ginormous, straightforward food from a fairly sizeable menu. Reasonably priced and late hours. Perfect for college students or folks wanting a decent late night, no frills meal.

Located along the Ave next to UW, Just dropped in for a little lamb schwarma before attending a 3 hour event. Took about 10 minutes for the order to come out. Outdoor tables weren't very clean but food was really tasty, Gyros and schwarma cost around $10. Great university food. Just needs a little cleaning up.

My go to spot for late night work! One of the best meals on the ave for a UW student! Will definitely miss it someday! Get their lamb and beef dinner special or aladdin fries

Highly recommend the three dip (current seasons is beet and it's my fav) with the flat bread. The flat bread comes out steaming. Trumpet mushroom is Smokey and juicy. Lamb comes in braised form and kebab both really good The soft serve swirl has the perfect texture and flavor. Would come back again!

However after we expressed that we didn't want to wait that long, we were told that if we wanted outdoor seating they could actually seat us in less than half an hour. We chose the outdoor seating option and took a quick stroll in the quiet neighborhood before coming back. Our server told us that Homer's plates are meant to be family style and shared so their general recommendation is 1 large plate or 2 small plates per person. For us, we ordered the Set of top 3 spreads, lamb ragu on tahini and we were served with 5 pieces of warm pita. We also ordered Grilled Pork with Stinging nettles, raw albacore tuna with taramasalata, and smoked and shaved kohlrabi. Our server warned us that the pork was going to be on the fatty side but we were still surprised by how fatty it was. The spreads for the pita were amazing as usual-- their seasonal flavors taste amazingly fresh. Our table wanted to order more pita and when someone came by to take the empty plate they asked if we wanted more which we did let them know but even by the time we finished all the plates, we never got the additional pita so we just took it off. The Kohlrabi was an amazingly refreshing palette cleanser before the pork-- super light and refreshing. After we finished our meal we grabbed some soft serve from the window and wow, for 7$ it's quite a lot of ice cream! The flavors that were offered when we were there was Dark Chocolate and Kettlekorn. I sampled the swirl and the fusion of the saltiness of the kettle korn, the slight bitter and sweetness of the dark chocolate was immaculate. Final thoughts: very cool experience, inside I could see the open kitchen and the stone wood fired oven and the ingredients tasted amazing. However it is a little inconvenient that it's walk in unless you're a party of 6 since the lines and wait can get incredibly long. It's also difficult to find parking in the area. Very neat experience!

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.
