The staff is nice and fast and I feel like they get better every time I go there, I like that there's 2 vegan options and I really like the seasoning they put on the fries, it can be really busy there at times like super late at night but it's always pretty quick to get the food out to you. read more

I stopped by at 7 pm on a Thursday and there were quite a few people waiting for their food but within a few min I was able to order. I just got a chicken gyro. It took about 5 min for my food to come out. I opted to take the food to go because it was a beautiful day, but the restaurant itself had plenty of seating and a more cafeteria atmosphere which is great for a quick bite. The gyro was great! Meat was well cooked, juicy and flavorful, and overall great. There was also a generous portion of veggies and hummus on it, and the pita was soft and good. Looking for a late night bite in Cap Hill and Al Bacha came up on our Yelp search for places open late + delivery nearby. This spot was actually so close that we ended picking up our order (Okay, I stayed in while my boyfriend went to pick it up). We had actually already ate earlier in the night so we split the Al bacha Deluxe Plate with lamb & chicken, rice, salad, hummus garlic sauce & pitta bread for a little late night second dinner. For $20 this was a great taste of all their different offerings! I'm a garlic girl so I loved hummus garlic sauce with the pita and just paired with everything on the plate. Make sure you ask for extra red and white sauce and lather it on top. The sauce they make perfectly blends with the crispy fries and adds an extra layer of flavor. The Falafel sandwich + hummus (Falafel Gyro pretty much) was another dish that was my favorite. The sandwich is perfectly spiced and the falafel is extremely crispy. Had an early lunch at Al Bacha on Broadway in Seattle today. The Pride festivities were going on downtown so I had Broadway pretty much to myself. I ordered the chicken gyro sandwich combo (fries and drink). I think I just found my favorite Gyro place in Seattle. This was my first time here. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. As some of you know I don't cook much. I figure that's why restaurants were made. The gyro was packed with perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken, very fresh cilantro, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. The sauce was very flavorful. The fries were piping hot and cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I'd go back for the fries alone! Overall a great lunch at a reasonablenable price. $21 with tax and tip. I go up to Capitol Hill every few days and will definitely be frequenting Al Bacha again. read more

Last Sunday, I stopped by this place and decided to have lunch there. Don't be fooled by the front of the building; the staff was amiable, and the food was flavorful with generous portions. Although the meat wasn't my favorite in Seattle, it was definitely flavorful & plentiful. The hummus was a bit bland. I later doused my plate in their hot sauce because it was addicting & went so well with everything. The gyro was decent but it was covered in veggies & fell apart. Wow! This was a true gem found by accident on Broadway. In the sea of Capital Hill restaurants and other distractions. I took a chance on this place situated on the corner. The lamb & beef were mouthwateringly good, tender, and full of flavor. Their hummus is also amazing! Everything about the plate was SO GOOD. On top of the food coming out quick and being delicious, the staff here is so kind. I was on Capitol Hill with a phone at 1% with an Uber half an hour out... So, the panic level was high. I asked if they had a charger I could borrow and they were so nice - they sanitized the cord and block for me and let me use it while I was eating in the restaurant without even a blink. My friends and I were looking for a quick dinner before a night out and they mentioned Al Bacha because they live close by and have been a couple times. They like coming here so we decided to stop by. I ordered the gyro lamb & beef (#10 - $7.49) which I thought was okay. I liked the meat that seemed like it was marinated in cumin or turmeric and I liked the sauce as well. It wasn't super big or filling and if you're looking for more filling food I would suggest one of the plates. My friends said that the Greek fries are just okay and there are a couple places they like more. I think they would also be better if they had some sort of loaded fries that included some meat along with the sauces and cheese. We ordered the AlBacha Deluxe Plates and the Greek Fries without feta and everything was amazing! The fries were smothered in garlic sauce and that sauce is to-die-for. The plate's portion was HUGE and more than enough, it came with salad, hummus, rice, pita bread, chicken and lamb shawarma. The rice was so simple yet flavorful and the hummus was good but I do wish it was a little creamier. The pita bread was a miss from me just because it was really thick and chewy (more than usual). Both the chicken and lamb were really good but I definitely liked the lamb better, it was more tender and flavorful. Overall, really good and tasty food! read more

I got the Deluxe Plate, which includes the gyro lamb & beef and chicken. The meats are tender and well-seasoned and the sauce on top is great as well. Rice was fluffy with good flavor. Nothing was overly greasy and the salad on the side was refreshing with tons of feta. The hummus is also really good with a drizzle of olive oil. Pita bread was well toasted and soft.
