My regular Gyro Sandwich. I asked for no tomatoes and no tzatziki
    Abby C.

Nice staff, it was a bit toasty inside the restaurant. I ordered a gyro and my sister ordered a chicken schwarma. She had asked for the tzatziki on the size but they put it on. She said it was still good. Wasn't overly crowded before the Sounders game so that was great. The fries looked great, we wished we had tried those.

Chicken N' Rice with Beef Polish Seattle Dog

A Seattle hot dog stand in front of a Mediterranean restaurant is the best late-night combination you could ever get. Prove me wrong. We stumbled upon this place at a late night out in Pioneer Square and we needed something decently priced and tasty. Our mouths watered at the sight of a (apparently the original) Seattle hot dog stand in front of a Mediterranean restaurant. The workers at the hot dog stand didn't shy away from talking to us, they seemed to take a lot of pride in their work! We got the Chicken N' Rice from Mediterranean Mix and the Beef Polish Hot Dog from the hot dog stand. Best combo I could've asked for.

Garbage . Dont order from here.

Awful. Ordered a platter to go. Was given the tiniest side of sauce. This dry piece of shit food was horrendous. Never ever ever again. This place keeps declining.

Medmix is the best! We've been going here for years, and we appreciate how consistently good the food is. You really can't beat the quality for the price. For two people, we typically order the shish tawook plate, which comes with pita, and the chicken salad. It's usually more than enough food for leftovers. We especially love their homemade hot sauce.

    Spanikopita, lamb gyro and delight

Everything. EVERYTHING. This place and the owners who I met on a random trip are Beautiful souls who are so kind and let me taste off the menu food that now I'm craving. Dang. Come eat them out of business!!!

Average gyro and fries, did their job but nothing memorable and no desire to return. Flatbread was fresh and hot, meat was tender and sauce was good. A hole in the wall, this fast food place also serves pizza by the slice and other things that don't fall under the mediterranean fare but it's a nice option to have and convenient. Food: 3 Service: n/a Ambiance: 2 Parking: 2 - not the greatest parking options in Pioneer Square, not a judgment on the business

Yesterday was my first time here and it was a nice experience. My friend comes here a lot and recommend this place so we went. It seems to be a popular spot for Mediterranean food. The inside was neat and clean. There was one cook working and even though it was a little busy we got our food pretty fast. I got the Falafel Plate - it's vegan. They have a decent enough vegetarian options, it's enough to experience the main known dishes. The Falafel Plate was huge! The portions was so much that I had to take a lot home. I really liked the variety of things to eat but one thing was the taste - it was a little bland. The tabouleh was my favorite part and I ate that in about two seconds - I make it myself, one of my favorite Mediterranean dishes! I think it the flavor was worked on everything would be so much be

Falafel Plate was okay. The falafel balls were dry. Salad was okay! The humus was yummy!!

Highly recommend the three dip (current seasons is beet and it's my fav) with the flat bread. The flat bread comes out steaming. Trumpet mushroom is Smokey and juicy. Lamb comes in braised form and kebab both really good The soft serve swirl has the perfect texture and flavor. Would come back again!

However after we expressed that we didn't want to wait that long, we were told that if we wanted outdoor seating they could actually seat us in less than half an hour. We chose the outdoor seating option and took a quick stroll in the quiet neighborhood before coming back. Our server told us that Homer's plates are meant to be family style and shared so their general recommendation is 1 large plate or 2 small plates per person. For us, we ordered the Set of top 3 spreads, lamb ragu on tahini and we were served with 5 pieces of warm pita. We also ordered Grilled Pork with Stinging nettles, raw albacore tuna with taramasalata, and smoked and shaved kohlrabi. Our server warned us that the pork was going to be on the fatty side but we were still surprised by how fatty it was. The spreads for the pita were amazing as usual-- their seasonal flavors taste amazingly fresh. Our table wanted to order more pita and when someone came by to take the empty plate they asked if we wanted more which we did let them know but even by the time we finished all the plates, we never got the additional pita so we just took it off. The Kohlrabi was an amazingly refreshing palette cleanser before the pork-- super light and refreshing. After we finished our meal we grabbed some soft serve from the window and wow, for 7$ it's quite a lot of ice cream! The flavors that were offered when we were there was Dark Chocolate and Kettlekorn. I sampled the swirl and the fusion of the saltiness of the kettle korn, the slight bitter and sweetness of the dark chocolate was immaculate. Final thoughts: very cool experience, inside I could see the open kitchen and the stone wood fired oven and the ingredients tasted amazing. However it is a little inconvenient that it's walk in unless you're a party of 6 since the lines and wait can get incredibly long. It's also difficult to find parking in the area. Very neat experience!

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
