Food was meh. Like they tried to make chipotle Mediterranean. Pretty empty with not a lot of patrons.

Loved our time at Petra Bistro. It gives mom and pop vibes. We got in shortly before happy hour ended and ordered some wine and hummus. The pita bread was amazing and I definitely fell victim of filling up on bread and hummus. I ordered the spice chicken. The soup that comes with it was amazing - lots of unique flavor. The spice chicken was great too. Excited to eat leftovers for lunch.

We came out of the Chihuly Garden at 7 pm and didn't want to spend an hour going to a restaurant in another part of town. Found this place on Yelp and glad we did. It's not fancy, but the owner did a nice job bringing in the theme. (Petra is in Jordan. The ending of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed there.) Anyway, the food was flavorful. The portions were decent and the prices were fair. The dinners we ordered came with lentil soup, which you swap for a salad for an additional $2. The app selection looked great, but that would have been more food than we needed. Service was attentive and friendly.

    Lamb Ouzi ( soo good)

Bomb! Flavor Bomb! Spices are not too overpowering with the right amount of flavor. 1) Ouzi comes with rice, peas and carrot topped with crunch pine nuts and tangy creamy Tzatziki sauce. (10/10) 2) combo Kabob comes with veggie, chicken, Kafta and lamb Kabob. Lamb is the best!! Chicken would be my least fav. A little dry with not a lot of flavor but the Lamb is But surprisingly, red lentils soup stole the show!! It's the best I ever had! Would definitely come back just for it.

Chicken Shawarma & Beef Gyro Salad

3.5 stars overall. I did a walk in with a friend during weekday lunch time and we were seated quickly. My friend ordered a gyro beef salad and I had the chicken shawarma. The chicken shawarma was very generous on the chicken & sauce and had a great presentation. I wish there was more rice! The taste was acidic and different from other chicken shawarmas I tried too. I'd come back to try something new.

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

On a Friday around 5:30pm, I was one of three people there before all the tables filled up 30-45 minutes later. Sitting at the bar, I got to watch the open kitchen create each dish with detail. To eat, I ordered the red pepper dip with molasses and walnuts. It comes with several thin pita straight from the oven. There's a slight kick to the dip making it perfect. I could eat just that as a meal. For my main, I got an entire roasted cauliflower with charred shallots, labneh, apricot, and more. The apricot added a sweetness to the savory. With a perfectly cooked cauliflower, it was divine. To drink, I ordered a glass of French white wine. The entire experience is among the best I've had in Seattle. (I come here twice a year.) Impeccable service seals the deal.

We were about 10…read morepeople and opted for the **Royal Feast dinner**, which lasted close to two hours and came with a variety of dishes served in a shared, group-style setting. From the moment we arrived, the **host and servers were warm, welcoming, and very polished**. The service felt attentive without being intrusive, and the staff did a nice job keeping the evening moving at a relaxed pace. The Royal Feast included several dishes that were brought out over the course of the evening. We started with **cinnamon pastries**, which were warm and a nice way to begin the meal. The spread also included **couscous, rice, chicken with lemon, Italian-style chicken, lamb, and kebabs**. The portions were generous and worked well for sharing with a large group. One thing to note: **vegetarians don't have many options here**, so if someone in your group has dietary restrictions, it might be a bit limiting. The meal ended with **tea**, which was a pleasant way to wrap up the dinner. Part of the experience here is the **belly dance performance**, but it doesn't start until **after 6:30 pm**. If you're expecting dancing throughout the dinner, you might be disappointed. The performance itself was okay, but the dancer mostly performs in the center area rather than around the tables, so it feels a bit distant. Personally, I've seen more engaging belly dance performances elsewhere. Parking is something to plan ahead for. The restaurant **does not have its own parking lot**, so you'll need to rely on **Seattle street parking, nearby garages, or paid lots**. Like many parts of the city, you may also see a few tents from unhoused residents while walking to the restaurant. If you're familiar with Seattle, this isn't unusual. Overall, the experience was **fun for a group dinner and worth the price**, especially if you're looking for something a bit different with entertainment included. That said, the food and performance were **good but not quite top-tier**. Still, it made for an enjoyable evening with friends.
