The food was good. I ordered the Turkish pizza. Always a favorite. Someone else in the party ordered the land pide. Also very good. Finally, ordered the best dumplings, which game in what appeared to be either a yogurt or cream cheese sauce. Also tasty. The food was good, definitely the Turkish pizza was the best of the set in my opinion. The ambience is nothing special. Seems like a regular old hole in the wall joint. I feel like I was transported back to Europe dining here. It was amazing. I haven't had Borek in 5 years and I didn't realize just how badly I missed it. It's so delicious, cheesy, hot, crisp. Addictive. The coffee was perfect too. The perfect balance of bitter and strong. (If you're new to Turkish coffee, know there's a puck of grounds in the bottom. So be careful if you stir in sugar or cream) The rest of the breakfast platter was amazing. We shared this and we both left pleasantly satisfied. Not stuffed. Not uncomfortable. But that perfect level of I ate just enough. The inside here is tight. It is a stall restaurant in Pike Place. Most of them are. There's a hand full of tables both inside and outside. You order at the counter and bus your own table when you're done. But they're busy for a reason. The food is amazing. If you're okay with a bit of a wait because they're packed. Come here. Visited on a Saturday for brunch and it was super busy! It took a bit for someone to ring us up at the cashier and the wait for food was also a little long but understandable because we only saw three people behind the counter. The Beef Pide was like a pizza and the sauce reminded us of In-N-Out sauce. They complimented each other well! The Spinach Cheese Borek was cheesy while the pastry was not overly flaky with a nice crisp. We wanted to try the Turkish Pancakes but unfortunately they were out by the time we arrived (~11:20am). It would've added some variety since both orders were very dough-like. It was great to try but not sure I'd go back again given other options along Pike Place. Location is right up the hill from the Pike Place sign which was really convenient. The space itself is quite small with only a few tables and some outdoor seating. read more

I came back to try the Turkish dumplings and they were delicious! I was nervous to try because it was $25 for a dish but it was worth it. The dumplings were small but had the perfect skin to filling ratio. The sauce on top tasted similar to a yogurt sauce, with spices and oil on top. After mixing it together they were delicious I would definitely get these again! My bf got the rice pudding topped with pistachios, which was delicious as well, I wish we got two!! read more

Cozy, little cafe with lots of Turkish food options. We tried the chicken plate, Lahmacun, Turkish coffee, and Turkish tea. The Lahmacun and the Turkish coffee were my favorite things. Beef shakshuka for breakfast was literally one of the best decisions I've ever made in life. Hungover or not, this meal has magical healing powers. I'm a fan for life. It was incredible to be able to order this at 10 am and find not only friendly service but comfort in the food. This spot is very close to Pike's market, and I would tell everyone I love to go visit! It's cutely decorated and they have a very extensive menu. Service was very friendly! I miss it already. The bread served with this dish was wonderful to soak up the runny egg, beef/onion/pepper juices, and was also served with a lightly pomegranate-dressed salad. SO DELICIOUS! This place is located along the outer sidewalks leading to the main Pike Place Market sign. They have an outdoor patio to people watch & sit with your dog. There is also inside seating as well. They open fairly early and offer menu options for all times of the day. I came here for breakfast. We ordered the spinach borek, which is spinach & cheese inside of phyllo dough. We also ordered the lamb pide, which came with lamb, cheese, and peppers inside a folded bread. Both of these dishes were very good and I would get them again. I also enjoyed the sauce that came with it, as it added a vinegar flavor to the dishes. Overall, I'd highly recommend coming here. read more

Not exactly a warm welcome. We were visiting from out of town and had driven up from the south side after reading great reviews, so this was a real letdown. If dine-in isn't an option during that last hour, they might as well close at 9. Customer service matters, and this experience just didn't live up to the hype. Plenty of other spots to eat on the same street--might want to check those out instead. read more

I was trying to find a spot in the Pike's Place area that wasn't too overcrowded, but still served up something great. Authentic Turkish coffee was on my list of things that I hadn't gotten a chance to try, so I was ok with giving this place a shot. We ordered the kebab plate, the lamb pide, a hot chocolate, and a cup of Turkish coffee. The kebab plate was really interesting, with a kind of reservoir of cream sauce in the middle, spiced with oregano. It was a solid dish, and quite filling. The lamb pide was also pretty satisfying. A good balance of lamb and cheese. Nice and chewy. I wasn't a fan of the sauce that was on the side of this, but the pide itself was good enough on its own. The turkish coffee was a strong cuppa, and I can see the appeal of this style of coffee, but it won't be my main cup. We wanted to try some of the dessert, but in the end we were too full to try any of it. Side note, the restroom here was unusually clean. Like, enough to make me notice. All in all, a solid outing, but I'd probably come back with a third person so we all had room for dessert. read more

Lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch right on the edge of Pike Place Market. I had a craving for shakshuka, and Miss Cafe did not disappoint! The dish arrived piping hot with a savory beef sauce, a couple of eggs with a side of salad and a pocket pita like bread which was so good on its own. The turkish coffee is also authentic and strong. I love pide so I'll definitely be back to give that a try and more. read more

Everytime I mention Turkish pizzas and etc, people have never even heard of it. So delicious. The crazy thing is, one the inside, this place has such a unique vibe compared to the other restaraunts, but on the outside just passing by, you hardly even notice it. It almost looks like a pastry shop, which lowkey based on the quality of their food, I guess they kind of are. Maybe the magic is in their bread. Hard to tell because all of their other ingredients are so fresh and full of flavor. They even have amazing lunch offerings. There have been months when I come on back to back days because once you sink your teeth in and start remembering how amazing their other dishes are, it's like they start calling your name. Note let's get technical. Parking, forget about it, this place is connected to like place of first Ave. Street parking is extremly limited so chances are, you will have to hike here or pay big for lot/garage parking. Luckily the food is worth it and the staff is friendly. Everytime I order my food comes out fast. It's like they shape the food in portions in a way where it always cooks fast. You get that vibe and you dont want to be there. Their tea tasted like it was burnt. My sister and I have never tried Turkish food but when we saw that this place was close to the hotel that we were staying at and had convenient online takeout ordering we were like "sure, why not?" Ground beef pide: well-seasoned beef and crispy flatbread crust. Very tasty especially with the dill yogurt sauce. Lahmacun: fun one to eat. Roll and devour (or for smaller bites rip off a piece and then roll). The fresh condiments on top gave it a burst of refreshing flavor. Simit: like a sesame bagel but with the thickness of a pretzel. Crunchy with the sesame seed crust and was good with the provided cream cheese. Kunefe: we were hoping for a nice cheese pull based from watching videos about it, but although this one didn't have that it was still enjoyable to eat. Not overly sweet and loved the toasted kadayif noodles on top. Miss Cafe salad: standard but tasty salad. Pretty much ordered this to offset all of the carbs lol. A very satisfying dinner! Located along 1st Ave next to Pike Place Market, this place is conveniently located in major tourist hot spots. The entrance is a bit unassuming, and the setup inside is fairly modest. This place serves Turkish food, and one of the items people generally order was the pide, so I got the beef pide which ended up to be around $20 after tax, a fair price for a fairly fulfilling meal. The downside I had was that it took close to 30 minutes for the pide to be prepared, but it was worth the wait as it was one of the better flatbreads out there. The filling itself - beef with cheese and bell peppers, were spot on in flavor and you are also served a thousand island dipping sauce that eased out the monotony of flavors when you eat the corner pieces of the bread. Despite the picture looking like it lacked filling, the filling is covered far and wide to almost every corner of the pide, a lot of which are hidden under the crust. If you have ample time and want to enjoy something a little out of the ordinary, this is definitely a place to try! read more

I love coming here. I've been here twice in two years and each time the food is delicious. Service is good enough, it's not a Michelin restaurant so people complaining about service need to remember that you get what you pay for. If you don't like how expensive it is then go somewhere else. The prices are fine, $60 for two people for a light meal. Seemed reasonable for us. The Turkish coffee was delicious and the lamb wrap was also so good. So good that we ate it before we could snap a few photos. Expecting a great last meal i was disappointed. Lahmacun looked great but had little flavor and was given so much parsley? And the few slices of tomatoes were flavorless.. So close to fresh produce at Pikes Market I would have expected better. The lamb Pide was another miss. Although there was enough meat it had little flavor. Not.how I wanted to my visit to Seattle. Cute, casual spot with amazing food! I came by one night with a friend completely unsure on what to get. The staff was extremely friendly and recommended a couple of options based on our interests. I decided to get the chicken wrap and split the kunefe. I was blown away by how delicious the wrap was! The chicken was so flavorful without being spicy, and the vegetables and chickpeas inside complemented it perfectly. Plus, it was so filling that I regretted unwrapping the other half prematurely. I definitely had quite a bit left over for my next meal! The kunefe was to die for. It was crispy on the outside but so soft and sticky on the inside. It had a slight sweetness to it that wasn't overpowering, and it was the perfect dessert to match the wrap. Overall, I had an amazing time and will absolutely be back!! read more
