This place is in a very unassuming food court area on the 2nd floor of Westlake Mall, and it is near Taste of Xi'an and Sushi Burrito along with others. I got here with friends on the Saturday of Sakura Con and wanted a quick but filling meal to last a concert and the rest of the night essentially. Yikes. You order up at the front, and the menu consists of sandwiches and platters of several sorts. I got their lamb shawrma plate, which has a bunch of marinated grilled lamb strips all over rice, along with some veggies and tahini sauce both on the side. I also got some pitas as my bread for this meal. The pita and rice were not of the best quality for me, though the lamb was the best part of the meal. It doesn't have the gamey taste that lamb usually has, and tastes like there's a ton of spices that have seeped deep into the meat. It's tender, rich in flavor and not too salty, so it paired really well with the rice. Like the other eateries in the same area, I'd only really be back if I'm around the area and need to get a quick bite before an event or hangout. this looked insane on the outside - sadly, it didn't quite match those expectations taste wise there were so many fries it was insane - which normally would be amazing, but with the depth of fries this meant that all the sauce that was on the outside didn't make its way to the inside this left all the inside fries without any tzatziki sauce at all another issue i have is with the sauce - it just tasted sweet rather than the typical tzatziki taste. So when combined with the feta cheese, the fries felt softer and sweeter than they should be the fries were not crispy at all - i can understand somewhat because of the sauce, but even the fries on the inside were still really soft and broken apart easily - i ate this entire meal with a fork. They were essentially indistinguishable from the chicken towards the end What made this dish good - though - was the chicken. The chicken shawarma wasn't just a topping - it was present throughout the fries - and i really enjoyed eating that - it had a fantastic flavor on the outside at the end, i was trying to find all the chicken i can while ignoring the fries the portion size was absolutely massive too - i didn't get anything else and didn't finish this ( due to time constraints) and still felt really full afterwards overall, quite a solid dish especially when you bring in the chicken, but the sauce / fries combo was kind of underwhelming especially when you look at the outside. read more

At food courts, my usual algorithm is to eat at the place with the shortest line, but I would seek Zuba out next time too regardless of line. We had the Kofta Wrap and the Chicken Gyro Platter. These guys just nailed it! Being a Mediterranean food enthusiast myself, I've eaten in so many of them, but this one stands out! The vibrant and pleasant decor is so impressing, then the friendly staff, then what's more important, the mouthwatering FOOD. They make most of their dishes from scratch which gives it that real home cooking taste. What's so unique, is that they make their own sauces that makes a world of difference. So yummy I had to order 2 extra sauces, for free! Portions: A lot. And I mean you will take some leftover home with you. Price wise: Average and suits all budgets. This is an amazing spot for fresh, tasty, Mediterranean food!! We ordered the lamb and beef gyro, lamb and beef gyro salad, chicken shawarma platter, and Greek fries. We also had a side of the falafel and baba ganoush. Everything was delicious - the lamb and beef is super flavorful and melts in your mouth. The chicken was well marinated and paired nicely with the rice. The falafel was made perfectly, crispy on the outside and bright and fresh on the inside. The Greek fries were the perfect ratio of garlic, feta, and fries. The baba ganoush was smokey, tangy, and creamy, truly one of the best we have tried. This restaurant serves absolutely amazing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food! I've gone to so many spots that serve this type of cuisine, but this place was so wonderful that I had to create a Yelp just to review it! The food they serve here is perfect for anyone who loves Greek, Turkish, or Arab food, and also for anyone who is looking to to try the authentic meals of these kitchens for the first time. The meat in the lamb & beef gyro was one of the best I've had, and the dolma (stuffed grape leaves) and baklava were spot on!
