Lamb Yeeros

10/10 best gyro I've ever had in the States. Seasoned well, fresh, fried served inside. Everything was insanely good and I'm a Mediterranean food lover thru and thru!

This place is right around the corner from our apartment hotel and we were starving so popped in. Pricing is now $14 each, not $11.50 per menu here. I had a chicken yeero and hubby had the lamb. Both were tasty with plenty of protein and really liked the tzatziki sauce. Veggies were fresh and crisp as well - pita was yummy too. It's basically a spot along the street- order at the counter - there are a couple picnic tables across the sidewalk. There are three trash cans and several dumpster divers came by looking for leftovers and were a bit unstable. Not the restaurants fault but we just got to town and it felt a little off. Will get it to go next time. Owner seems very friendly and he's working hard. Edit- we picked up skewers on the way back to our apartment last night too- chicken ($7.25 each) and they were juicy, moist and tasty!

Great place to catch some authentic Greek food! Lamb was great as was the pita wrap.Thoroughly enjoyed every bite!. Happy to find a place to sit on this hot day.

The food was fresh, warm and tasty. The line was a bit long but moved rather quickly. Seating is limited. We were watching as ppl would finish up eating and swarm in on the table to take ownership. It was a must mentality if you wanted a seat to sit down and stuff your face with some yummy goodness! Check it out. I appreciated the flavors of the chicken gyro and seasonings. Fries were light and crispy. The pyllo dough was warm and flaky. The goodies were fresh as well.

Came for lunch at Pike Place Market to get some Greek food. In the market there's a few places to get falafel, hummus, and other classic Greek items. Mr. D's is one of these. Has most of the favorites of Greek cuisine. There's the menu plus you can get a few grocery items for later. At lunch it was already busy. It's a place that has order at the counter. There's a few tables outside if wanting to eat here. Has a pretty impressive menu of classics. We got a few things. It's about $10 for the Falafel Gyro. This has a choice of hummus or tzatziki, along with a topping of fresh vegetables. A lot of healthier items including the Vegetarian Platter. This has dolmathes, falafel, hummus, pitas, spanakopita, and tyropita. Also you can get a few groceries. There's dolmathes, feta, olives and more. Best place around here for classic Greek. It's located on Pike Place. There's things for meat eaters as well as vegetarians.

It can get very busy here, with everyone walking trying to get through to other shops and restaurants. But what are you to expect, with the location of the restaurant right at Pikes place. It was pretty hard to find a place to sit with some shade. Alright, so with the food. I thought the lamb gyro was good. The sauce inside the gyro was good and not so tangy. Which was good and they gave lots of meat! I mean, my gyro was pretty much spilling over when I was eating. The only thing that I didn't like much was our fries. We ordered the original fries and unfortunately this came out cold!

A great tourist food spot! Everything comes out hot and ready for you. Authentic Mediterranean. I love their fries! Came on a slow week day. Busier days can be hit or miss. My friend and I's fresh bouquet. *wink* See photo

It was okay. Nothing too exciting.exciting. Not the best customer service, but the food was tasty.

A great place for a grab and go lunch at the market. We got our food relatively quickly. The traditional style lamb yeero had great flavors (with the exception of the tomatoes, which were a little bland and gritty). But the lamb was perfect, the bread was fresh, and the rest of the veggies gave it a nice crunch. I appreciated the way the yeero was wrapped and that you get a fork to eat.

Quick, delicious Greek food! The line was pretty long when I went on a Saturday afternoon but it moved pretty quickly and I got my food within minutes of ordering. I ordered the chicken gyro which was great. The chicken was flavorful and the pita was soft. Would def recommend checking this place out if you're in the Pike Place area!

Fantastic fresh falafel and Mr D is so cute and nice. I love how the sauces were fresh and kind of thin so they coated the falafel which was very moist well. Service was friendly. Ambience was amazing

Solid gyro place. Finally got to try after walking past so many times and being tempted by the delicious smells. Very solid gyro, they give a good amount per serving! The sauce was delicious. The mango lemonade was too sweet. They have seating right in front of the restaurant which is really nice. Good gyro, but there's definitely better ones in Seattle.

Just did a visit to Lola for their Seattle Restaurant Week dinner, and at $50 per person, I think…read morethis is one of the better deals out there. The amount of food was insane even our server said it was a lot of food! The first course alone could have been a meal. Pita bread with six different spreads just look at the picture! I expected maybe three or four. They explained everything, and I retained almost none of it. All I know is that everything tasted really good! This also came with a very generous portion of Greek salad. That was just round one. Next came the salmon and chicken kebabs, with generous chunks of protein served sizzling. They poured liquid over them at the table to make them sizzle even more, which was a neat touch. Both were very good, and the caramelized onions were great. The spreads from the first course also made excellent toppers for the salmon and chicken. By the third course, we were already getting full, but out came the leg of lamb. I had pictured us having to tackle something bone-in, so I appreciated that it arrived nicely sliced. Tender, cooked perfectly, and very little fat. It came with generous portions of small, partly mashed potatoes and some really good greens. I'm not entirely sure what the greens were, but we enjoyed them! For the fourth course, we chose a blackberry ginger sorbet that wasn't listed on the menu. I also ordered a Prosecco to enjoy with dinner. We ended up taking home three boxes because there was simply no way we could finish everything. Such an amazing Seattle Restaurant Week deal! Service was fantastic, and the pacing was nice. My friend and I stayed a little afterward to chat, and we never felt rushed, even though the restaurant was very busy. Great ambiance and a really enjoyable evening. I'll definitely be back to try their brunch!

Unfortunately, on arriving, there was a mix-up and we had to wait 20-25 mins to get our table. We were a large party (10 people) but still, it was quite a long wait. The manager offered us some free wine and apologized for making us wait. We did enjoy the rest of the night with the huge ensemble of meals and drinks Lola had to offer. Our servers were also extremely nice and polite and quite accommodating to our big dinner party. I really liked the ambience of the restaurant: dimly lit, elegant and cozy with an open kitchen towards the back side. Ordered a lot of different items amongst all of us: Mushroom Skewers (was quite tasty) Saganaki (not a big fan of this.. I didn't like the sweet and cheese together) grilled octopus (I am not a big fan of octopus, but tried what my colleague ordered, and I quite liked it) Doughnuts with mascarpone and Jam (star of the night) Coconut cream pie (also amazing) There was another dessert, I don't recall the name of it but it was peach with chocolate mascarpone (didn't like this one as much as the other two) Overall, had a great time at Lola despite the wait time hiccup, the service, food, ambience were top-notch!

My friend and I went to Homer with the haphazard plan of doing double dinner -- aka Homer for small bites + cocktails at 5 pm followed by dinner reservations elsewhere at 8:30 pm. Was this foolish? Oh yes, absolutely; but was it a delicious evening? Also yes. We were here on a Saturday night so tried to arrive a bit early to line up and lord have mercy because...there was a healthy line of ~25-30 people ahead of us at 4:45 pm. We were sweating bullets that we wouldn't make the first seating, but a few of the larger groups ahead of us gave up given the wait times and we were able to grab a table for 2! The interior is inviting, cozy, and can fit a decent amt of people without feeling too crowded. Drinks wise, we got the gt & t (green tea gin, lemongrass tonic, lime) and the snap pea margarita -- both of which were good, but not great. We really tried to restrain ourselves food wise given the 8:30 pm dinner reservations but gosh it was HARD. We got the set of 3 spreads, the summer tomatoes with black garlic, and the summer melon & caramelized halloumi. Good lord the spreads were SO good with our fave being the summer squash and cashew dip with red chili oil and sesame. The tomatoes were delicious too but the unexpected star for us was the summer melon & halloumi! Such a good play on salty, sweet, tangy -- would 100% get it again and...I don't even like melon very much LOL We didn't finish all of the above so we would have stomach space for our next spot but it was difficult to stop ourselves for sure. Given how hyper-seasonal the menu is, I am totally and absolutely ready to go back and try other items! Prices are definitely fair for quality, taste, and the exemplary service we received.

I'd recommend getting there early and explored the neighborhood while you wait. The restaurant was a bit loud so it's a little hard to chat with big group. We chose the Family Feast option, which came with 3 course of food, desserts. This option is fantastic for big group to share, as well as to try different menu items without having to choose. They brought out a lot of food for each course, and pack up whatever we didn't finish for us to take home. Since their menu changes often, it was a great experience for both first-timers and guests who have been before, to try seasonal menu items. Our first course consisted of 3 dips, grilled medjool dates, anchovies with sourdough, and unlimited pita bread. All of the dips were delicious, and the grilled medjool dates were one of my favorites of the meal. Our second course were summer tomatoes, shaved kohlrabi, and grilled little gems salad with nectarines, and dill emulsion dressing. All of them were so refreshing, and the flavors were on point. The summer tomatoes were sweet. We were already pretty full at this point. Our third course were roasted chicken with chili-fruit paste, and grilled pork with rainier cherry. The chicken was super tender, the chili-fruit paste was not spicy, just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The grilled pork was tender and sweet, it was definitely one of my favorites. Desserts were ice cream and warm cookie with sweet cream. It was absolutely tasty and a great end to the meal. Our server was very attentive and nice. We didn't feel rushed during our time dining here. Overall, the restaurant was super worth the long wait, and I love all the dishes I tried that day.

Super friendly, welcoming, and the kind of people who make you feel like you've been there before even when it's your first time. We didn't actually come hungry enough for a full meal, which I immediately regretted after looking around. The lentil soup is definitely happening next time, and then I saw the Beyti Kebab coming out of the kitchen... yeah, that basically settled it. Presentation of the food is beautiful and the service is amazing, prompt and the servers do a great job so make sure to tip well. Desserts are not worth the price. The ambiance is great and feels authentic to turkey. Parking is street parking and can be difficult to find at dinner time so I would come early. Which was part of the reason I visited a few weeks ago. I actually have been wanting to try Yalla for awhile, and just recently figured where it was located. A bit out of my way from work and home, but the day I decided to go was perfect. I was meeting friends at Sake Nomi which doesn't serve food so you're allowed to bring some in. I had two hours to waste so it gave me plenty of time to get up to Capitol Hill and back to Pioneer Square. Yalla is a walk up window with a bench outside to sit but I imagine most people take the food to go. I was sharing the food with five other people so the three mezze dips was the perfect option, I also added the special dip of the day that had 100% proceeds going to help those in Nepal. I also added one of the pressed Saj, the grilled Kefta a lot easier to share. One of my friends wanted the Lamb wrap so that was included in the order as well. Love how fresh the ingredients were. Each dip had distinctively different flavors and textures. Saj was included two different ways to enjoy with the mezze in its soft flatbread form and as a cracker perfect for dipping. My favorites were the Muhummara and the Nuraniye (Zuchinni Dip). I liked the tanginess of the Muhummara and the fresh lemon forward of the Nuraniye. The Kefta was delicious, I need to carry a knife for situations like this when sharing food we ended up ripping off pieces this came with Labneh. The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
