Chicken Fiery Kreuzberg
Pooja S.

I've been here a few times and tried a few of their chicken sandwiches and I have finally found the sandwich I like! I like their house chicken sandwich due to the garlic sauce--I have found their fiery sauce a bit too sweet? And the more medium sauce too flavorless. The house chicken isn't spicy but I manage. But service is great. You order on iPads in the story, and they make the sandwich pretty much right away. I've never had to wait too long. There are also some outdoor seating areas that can be full during lunch hour, but there's plenty of places to eat outdoors around here. Definitely a local lunch spot for me!

Döner kebab. Where is the meat?! There were a few dry pieces hiding under the lettuce. This place should be ashamed.

Really disappointing takeout from here tonight. It was not traditional Döner meat! (Meat sliced off the spit). The Döner kebab sandwich had hardly any meat at all (see photo). Salad was large and had a decent amount, but it was just grilled meat strips that were dry and tough. The descriptions on the menu sound good, but the execution was shameful. Will not be ordering from here again.

Their signature beef and lamb kebab was delicious. Must repeat this place again. It's also great that it's right by our office.

Fast, affordable, all three meats are tasty, and the house bread is the right amount crispy/spongy.

Every single dish was packed with unique flavor that I haven't experienced before. The homemade pistachio ice cream was rich yet not too sweet. Perfect way to end the meal. Service was attentive and thoughtful; atmosphere was intimate, dim lighting, and a great view to the open kitchen. Definitely has become one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle!

I'd never had Turkish food before and was pleasantly surprised by our experience here. Our waiter recommended ordering quite a bit to share, so we ended up with about 5 small plates and 3 larger plates for the table. Everything I tried was fantastic, especially the Kereviz, Tavuk Pirzola, Pide, and Borek. The flavors were different from anything I had ever had, and they were all very good! My husband ended up eating most of the steak as we were all full, and he really liked it. I had read some not so great reviews about their steak, but it turns out they had changed farms about a week before we dined there, so it seems like that was successful. I tried a bite and it was delicious. The drink offerings were good. Their cocktails were interesting and well balanced, and I enjoyed a Turkish wine. In terms of service, our server wasn't very knowledgeable and couldn't answer several questions we had. There was also a disconnect among the staff, as multiple servers asked if we wanted another drink after we'd already ordered one with someone else. My biggest note was the noise level. Between the loud music and the sound of other diners, it was nearly impossible to hold a conversation, which was a bummer since we were hoping to catch up with family. On a positive note, one of the owners noticed my mother-in-law had been given a fork for her ice cream, brought her a spoon, apologized, and even gave us a kitchen tour. It was a nice gesture. Hamdi exceeded my expectations and was a hit with my mother-in-law. I'd definitely return, but probably just with my husband next time, since it's not the spot for catching up with a group.

I tried the bread and the hinkali, and both were outstanding. The bread was perfectly baked--crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I walked out hand-released into a new dimension of flavor, texture, and spiritual clarity. The moment you enter, the scent alone performs a full-body hand release on your soul. Cardamom, sesame, and dreams swirl in the air like edible incense. The décor? A cozy blend of Anatolian charm and deli swagger. I felt like I'd been hand-released from Seattle drizzle into Istanbul sunshine. Let's talk food: * The simit? A sesame-crusted halo of joy. One bite and I hand-released my skepticism about circular carbs. * The börek? Layers of pastry so delicate, I whispered "hand release" with every chew. * The lamb pide? A canoe of savory perfection that hand-released me from all previous notions of pizza. * And the baklava? Oh sweet mercy. It was a honey-soaked hand release into dessert nirvana. I considered legally changing my name to Pistachio. Non-Turks, non-locals, non-delicates--this place is for YOU. Turkish Bakery & Deli is a hand release from bland sandwiches and sad pastries. It's a flavor embassy where every bite is a diplomatic mission of delight. You don't need to know what sucuk is. Just trust the spice and let the hand release happen. The tea? One of them hand-released a tray of delights onto my table and I nearly proposed. Go. Eat. Hand release your palate. Let Turkish Bakery & Deli show you what flavor diplomacy really means.

It was basically cheap minced beef wrapped around kebab skewers. I couldn't finish it, and my stomach isn't feeling great tonight. The service was awful. They basically dropped the food at our table, and no one checked on us to see if we needed anything until it was time to pay. The ladies' restroom was flooded with toilet water, which tells me a lot about their hygiene standards. I had a good experience here a couple of years ago, but I would never eat here again or recommend this place to my friends.
