Fried chicken sandwich

At this pub before a game I ordered a fried chicken burger and fries. Also some beers. The service was efficient, I was sitting at the bar so that helped. The place was enjoyable for a hang and we could hear each other while there. We also enjoyed the art.

We stopped here for a beer. And we had a couple with some yummy food. We had some amazingly good calamari and sandwich. The sandwich was ok. Beer was tasty. It was pretty empty when we went but apparently it gets super busy. I liked the decor here!

The burger I had was super juicy and delicious. Kevin, the bartender, was awesome, efficient and served me right away when I came in.

Grilled Wild Salmon

The salmon was alright, the skin side of the fish was a little burnt so it was bitter, the menu description says "wild Alaskan sockeye, mushroom and farro risotto, pea tendrils, & chimichurri sauce." My plate did not come with mushroom and farro risotto or pea tendrils and instead came with potatoes and brussels sprouts. Went during lunch with a group of 8 right behind a group of 5 from our same office but different party, when the bill came out, the waitress outright assumed we were one party even though we didn't interact at all during our meals. A crazy assumption to make...

I stopped here for a quick, final lunch with a co-worker. We had a long standing appointment to have a beer and some fries while we caught up. Our office hosted lunch but after hearing the special-a gyros sandwich I couldn't help but do a double lunch. The gyros was good, if not traditional. I was expecting strips of lamb/beef but it was almost like loukaniko but still had that gyros flavor. Their tzatziki was green-almost like a chimichurri but hey! It worked. Their beer selection was pretty extensive, a lot of local breweries but not organized well. I had a hard time finding the beer I drank because some beers were organized by brewery and name and some were brewery and style. I'm glad I took a photo of their beer list at the time.

Stopped here as part of a pub crawl following a Seahawks game stopped in here to a packed pub filled with fans. This was actually cool I chatted with fans of the visiting team and a Hawks superfan. Our party of four found a booth where we got a couple drinks and some apps. The setting is that of like half bar, half family restaurant where it's a bit brighter where the tables and booths are. I kind of liked it. We only got a couple apps to share which were just alright, nothing too special. The wings were standard - I think a set of 8 and we had some hummus that comes with pita slices, carrots and sliced zucchini. Not bad, nice presentation. Overall just ok. Seems like a great place to do what we did - have a couple drinks following a game or an event if in the area.

Steak Salad

Friendly service and the steak salad was perfect. My friend had the British style fish and chips which seemed really great too.

Great food, good service and ambience. My wife was skeptical at first, but her chicken salad was outstanding, she said. I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and flushed it down with a Coors light. This place provides a fantastic value. I can only recommend it.

Burger was delicious, ran into this restaurant while walking Seattle with my boyfriend. Price was $50 for two burgers and a glass of wine.

Popped in after a Seahawks game and was fortunate to grab a table for a postgame drink and bite to hold us over while traffic cleared out of the area. They had the later games on TV (and they have numerous TV's around the place), so it was a great option to relax and regroup for the rest of the day. I'm sure the experience is much better on non-game days, but can't comment on that, unfortunately. The staff was friendly enough, but were noticeably exhausted by what we can fairly assume was the demands of a game day crowd. Regardless, they were machines. There didn't seem to be a large floor staff, so I admired the ability to quickly wait on us, check in frequently, and get our drinks/food to us fast. The prices are affordable, but our food fell squarely in the "okay" category. If you're looking for a cross between a pub and an American sports bar, with menu options to suit those settings, Collins is a decent spot. I wouldn't rush back, but I also wouldn't hesitate to pop back in for a quick bite in similar circumstances.

Great Beer Selection!

We just stopped in for lunch with the kids. Our waitress was very good. She made a few recommendations, one of which was the Ahi Tuna Sandwich. Both my wife and I ordered it and it will now be the Ahi Tuna meal that I judge all others against. It was amazing! They also have a very good calamari appetizer. Our kids were able to make solid selections from a small kids menu that they enjoyed as well. At the time of our visit, the pub had only just opened for the day, but the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and relatively quiet (except for the noises that accompany our own kids). Would definitely recommend.

House salad with grilled chicken and hummus plate in background.

Stopped in for a quick beer and small bite...pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food...we ordered the house salad with chicken and the hummus plate...both were beautiful and delicious! Menu is limited but I'd be willing to bet everything on it is good. Server (only guy working) was attentive and friendly and provided great service.

As a cider fan, I was especially happy to see a solid variety of options. Although I had a frustrating experience with the kitchen, but I'd still come back. It was an especially hectic day with multiple events and a soccer game, so it seemed like everyone arrived at once. I ended up waiting about an hour for my food, which was disappointing. That said, the staff handled the situation really well, there was consistent communication, and they took the time to engage with us, which I appreciated. Still, the kitchen delays and order issues shouldn't be overlooked. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of games, which I'm looking forward to trying next time. The location is another plus, just a few minutes' walk from the T-Link, making it very convenient.

Still decent, just not something I'd rave about. The mini golf is definitely the highlight. It's really cute how the course spells out "SEATTLE," and I loved the little Space Needle to end the last of the mini golf holes. That said, there are only 9 holes and they're pretty small, so it goes by quickly. Drinks are all on tap and feature local/Washington breweries, which I really appreciated. I love supporting local! We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated. They also had cornhole and a ping pong table, which made it feel like like there variety of things to do. Loved the vibes/ambiance (fun art and murals) and music. Overall, a fun spot for a casual hangout -- especially if you catch one of their deals!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
