Recently checked out We're Back after some very good social media posts hyping up their Sicilian pizza so we had to give it a try. Place is in Orange on the corner off the Post Rd, good amount of parking and some seating inside. It's an open kitchen setup pizza wise, you can select a style of pizza at the counter and they'll warm up it for you as a slice. We got the Chicken Parm Stromboli along with a slice of the cheese, bakery and gramma Sicilian. All were very good, great crunch on them and it was filling and satisfying. Our favorite had to be the bakery, tangy sauce with no cheese and just went together very well. The Stromboli is worth getting too, good size piece and the cutlet went great with the marinara sauce, we'll be back to try a full sicilian pie very soon! read more

I had tried their pizza several times over the last few years and remember enjoying it, but not much else. I saw an ad for their Sicilian pie, which got me in the mood. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Grandma Sicilian. It's a great mix of styles, with the lighter, fresh crispiness of a Grandma pie and the thickness of a Sicilian, but not as dense/doughy as the latter usually has. It hit the spot and heat up well the next day...morning. If I had any criticism, I'd say the garlic knots are not typical. They're good, but took some getting used to and I probably prefer a more traditional style. And on the soda fountain, you gotta sack the "pink lemonade" slot and put something like cream or black cherry in there. read more

We had a cheese Sicilian last week and it was delicious. Normally we eat traditional NH style since it's what we are used to. This was a nice change. Just casually walked in for lunch and was surprised that we're back pizza offered pizza by the slice. It was my First time having pizza by the slice in Orange! I had the gramma slice, it was absolutely delicious. It's a family owned restaurant with a beautiful story. You definitely get that feel when you walk in. The lady at the counter was very polite, she explained what each pizza option was, and what the toppings included. I went for two cheese slices. This is a very casual spot with seating. A decent size for a larger group. Very accessible. And, ample parking. I only tried the pizza, but they have a very extensive menu. And because the pizza was good, I may try some other items from the menu in the future. I drive from Branford to the West Haven:Orange line their cheese pizza is also delicious. Love the casual atmosphere. You order at the counter and it's brought to your table. Consistently enjoy a slice of two here. Our favorite is the Bakery slice. While a thick crust, it is very light. A little close to Detroit style with sauce over cheese. Different than their Sicilian which has an abundance of cheese. read more

Called and ordered a Meatball Parm. $12 per their online menu. Arrived to pick up and was told the total was $15. Didn't make sense considering tax at 7.35% After questioning how much it cost, I was advised the prices went up and was shown a printed menu - on which the price was $13. Which still didn't explain the cost to me of over $15. I was then informed that the price was $14 and advised that the owner maintains the right to change prices without notice. So I asked, 'you're not going to honor the price an either of your menus'? To which the response was no. You can make your own mind up if you whether or not you wish to patronize a business that acts this way - I most certainly will not. read more

Placed an order here tonight while visiting. Repeated my order 3 times for a calzone with no ricotta. 3 times. Get back to my hotel and surprise- ricotta inside which seemed like they put extra. I put in a large order for our crew to test the quality of their product, ordering several pizzas ( Margherita, plain, gramma, Sicilian, Lasagna, We're Back Special, Bakery Style Sicilian ) salads, wraps as well as garlic knots. Everything was on point, as well as Mike the owner delivered the pizza himself. Mike is really a nice guy who've I've seen on Tik Tok make all kinds of videos claiming to be the Sicilian Capital of CT. He talks up his food but he also backs it up with his love for making his food. We could tell the passion he has for his business as well as making sure his customers are happy with everything. Mike texted me the following day to follow up and make sure we were satisfied with the food and service. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer as he does backup everything he claims about his food. We had 10+ employees in which several brought food home to share with their families. We have ordered pizzeria food from other well known CT pizzerias and most of the time my people pass on sharing it with their families. Mike left a great impression with us and in turn the least I could do was go out of my way to give his business the props that they deserve. I try really hard to write positive reviews but I was shocked by my food tonight. I had penne ala vodka and the sauce was not a vodka sauce, it tasted like macaroni and cheese. We ordered for the first time using the Slice app. I ordered a pizza (med. sausage light onion) and my husband ordered a crispy chicken sandwich which we customized by omitting the cheese and pickle and adding bacon. The food arrived promptly and the way we ordered it. The pizza was hot, nice thin crust and a generous amount of tasty sausage. The three stars was for my husband's chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was tough and gristly. He got three successful bites before he was done with the sandwich. I took a bite myself and did not want to chew it.
