Just casually walked in for lunch and was surprised that we're back pizza offered pizza by the slice. It was my First time having pizza by the slice in Orange! Called and ordered a Meatball Parm. $12 per their online menu. Arrived to pick up and was told the total was $15. Didn't make sense considering tax at 7.35% After questioning how much it cost, I was advised the prices went up and was shown a printed menu - on which the price was $13. Which still didn't explain the cost to me of over $15. I was then informed that the price was $14 and advised that the owner maintains the right to change prices without notice. So I asked, 'you're not going to honor the price an either of your menus'? To which the response was no. The lady at the counter was very polite, she explained what each pizza option was, and what the toppings included. I went for two cheese slices. This is a very casual spot with seating. A decent size for a larger group. Very accessible. And, ample parking. I only tried the pizza, but they have a very extensive menu. And because the pizza was good, I may try some other items from the menu in the future. I put in a large order for our crew to test the quality of their product, ordering several pizzas ( Margherita, plain, gramma, Sicilian, Lasagna, We're Back Special, Bakery Style Sicilian ) salads, wraps as well as garlic knots. Everything was on point, as well as Mike the owner delivered the pizza himself. Mike is really a nice guy who've I've seen on Tik Tok make all kinds of videos claiming to be the Sicilian Capital of CT. He talks up his food but he also backs it up with his love for making his food. We could tell the passion he has for his business as well as making sure his customers are happy with everything. Mike texted me the following day to follow up and make sure we were satisfied with the food and service. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer as he does backup everything he claims about his food. We had 10+ employees in which several brought food home to share with their families. We have ordered pizzeria food from other well known CT pizzerias and most of the time my people pass on sharing it with their families.
