WeChat Cafe has been promoting the special n it's very attractive ... the Char Siu roasted BBQ pork was delicious n tasty, half fat half lean!!! Mixed with sunny side up eggs n Choy sum vegetables... with rice!! Look good n delicious!!! However, the services level was still not up there n waiting time was too long due to their inventory control are fairly not consistently... hope they can improve... I was waiting 25mins for my foods...

I order the filet mignon cubes with black pepper sauce and white rice. My boyfriend got the Grilled chicken steak with black pepper sauce and spaghetti. I got my filet medium rare and that was one of the best TENDER filets i've ever had. I did prefer the spaghetti and my side instead of the rice but overall so good. Our server was very attentive with refills.

We got 2 dishes for $39. The taste is just alright & the portion is not super crazy. That's pricey. Indonesian fried rice gives a lot. Comes with chicken and shrimp and fried egg on top. Taste alright. Beef with mixed mushroom is the disappointment. There is barely any beef. Taste just ok. Place looks kinda small from outside but inside is actually pretty big.

Came here back in November 2021 for a late lunch. Parking lot wasn't too full. Service was pretty fast. Ordered the Baked Chicken Steak With Curry Rice, Daikon Beef Stew, Wonton Noodle Soup, French Toast With Peanut Butter, and Hong Kong Milk Tea. Everything tasted amazing!

I came here since it is open pretty late on a weekday. They sat us in the back and was pretty standard. A fly kept flying around which was a bit annoying but nothing too out of the norm. So food is on the pricier side for HK style type food IMO, a porridge went for $12 while a wonton soup went for like $14. I will say though the food tasted very good, solid 5 at least for what I ordered. Service was totally lacking at night especially since the servers started to eat around 9 pm so it took us awhile to get extra bowls. Overall come for the food, not the experience. I think I will stick to ordering via delivery from here.

Beef with Scrambled Egg Chow Fun

Place was quite run down and lots of mosquitoes when we got seated. There was only one lady who was the server + cashier at the time of our visit. Rice Beef Chow Fun was tasty however the Fish Ball Soup w/ Flat Noodle we ordered was tasteless. Cannot expect much from service, the lady hardly speak English, so my husband needs to order food in Mandarin (she speaks Mandarin & Canto, FYI). Price for the beverage, no other places can beat so far, $2.5 for Hong Kong milk tea - price includes refills.

Club Sandwich, French Toast with Peanut Butter, Lemon Tea / Jan 2025
    Kary T.

Average and decent HK style cafe. I ordered the club sandwich, which had spam and ham, and heavy on the mayonnaise. The peanut butter French toast was fine. I ate half of everything and took the rest home. Foot traffic was slow and they were polite to let me linger for an hour plus, giving me free refills of their lemon iced tea which was generous. I would come back to try their Portuguese chicken rice as I don't see a lot of other HK cafe menus, and if I was in the area.

Baked Pork Chop with Rice - $8.99

Super good food at a cheap price. There's a special between 3-5pm, that has its own menu. Lot of good options and drinks come at an additional cost. Service fast and ambiance quiet. Parking - a lot in parking lot

We were…read moreable to call ahead earlier in the morning and ask if we could be on the wait list or reserve a table. They told us they could reserve a table for us at 6pm. We originally were hoping for 7 or 7:30, but based on how busy and popular this place is I can see why they said no. Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. We ordered one of the set menus for our party of 7 and it was spot on! As you can see in the pictures we had all the "classics". Our set meal could easily be enjoyed by at least 10 people. We had so many leftovers! The food was all well prepared and sufficiently seasoned. Portions of each dish was plentiful and everyone will be able to get enough to satisfy. My favorite items: lobster (duh!), kung pao chicken, pork chops, and shaking beef. The seafood soup is a great starter, and don't forget to add a little vinegar and pepper! Great restaurant in the SGV. This location is much bigger than their Rowland Heights restaurant, but the food is exactly the same. This is a great alternative to the popular Newport Seafood, so don't sleep on this place!

Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.

I made an order over the phone and ordered the following: Black Pepper Beef with Fresh Mushrooms, $8.95 prior to tax- In this dish, there were no mushrooms, lol. It was made with zucchini, onions and bell peppers. My husband was disappointed because there were no mushrooms but it was a tasty dish. But rather salty. Fried Fish Fillet with Vegetables, $7.95 prior to tax- My mom picked this entree. We did like it but this dish was really salty. I do like that this dish had a lot of vegetables though, with a mix of cabbage, broccoli, bean sprouts and carrots. There was also plenty of garlic used in the sauce. Szechuan Eggplant, $6.95 prior to tax- I opted for eggplant because I just love egg plant. This dish was really, really oily though. But the flavor was good. Chicken with Broccoli, $6.95 prior to tax- This dish had plenty of broccoli, but also had some cabbage and a little bit of carrots. And again, this dish was rather salty too. Container of steamed white rice- Complementary but wished it came with 2 boxes and I didn't want to purchase a box. -------------------------------- (Total= $34.04 after tax) Please note that this restaurant is CASH ONLY. The employee who took care of our transaction was friendly. We still had to wait a little bit after coming during the time we were told our order would be ready. But that wasn't a problem. While we waited for out items, we saw that there were other people who had also made an order ahead of time and came to pick up their food too. Portion size is excellent and the price is also very cheap. Honestly, you can't find any restaurant with these type of prices in California that can feed a family for 1-2 meals. But the food is really salty and oily so I don't know if I would come back here any time soon. But would consider them again for a pot luck or gathering.

It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. The beef loc lac was tough, deep fried fish sauce tasted weird with their sweet sour sauce, pea sprouts which I was trying to change to another dish but couldn't, sure enough was so fibrous & chewy.
