I called Webformix the other day to see if they had changed their internet offering at the Eagle Landing apartment complex in Bend and an amazing rep named James C informed me that they did indeed still have the same system for Eagle Landing, whereby or whereupon you cannot connect or use a router, a printer, a tv, etc. It's always so refreshing and pleasurable to talk to the reps at Webformix. First a bit of background. I've been frustrated with many of the internet providers in town. I have a big family and I have to admit our connection takes a beating as we stream and game. We pay for the highest tier accounts so there shouldn't be any problems right? WRONG. And I'm not even put out by that, but each of these providers has a very tired, typical "that's your problem" kind of attitude which has led to a series of cancellations. With Webformix although there were a few bumps in the road to getting us setup properly they were more than willing to get their hands dirty and help us figure everything out. What wireless router to use, where to place it, the best way to get our TVs connected (we had problems with one of the Rokus), how to deal with kids hogging bandwidth, whether or not to strangle my son when he does his torrenting while my wife and I are trying to watch House of Cards etc. Useful bunch of brains over there! It has been two years since I started with Webformix and have had nothing but great internet SERVICE through them. I have only had to call them once in that time to help me trouble shoot a problem (it wasn't their problem but mine) and when we moved from one place to another they were very quick to get me set up at our new residence. For the first two years I did not need a lot of speed so used their lowest rate plan and was completely satisfied. Last week we decided we would like to stream movies so I called and in just a few minutes we were upgraded to the next level and now we can stream movies. Today I got a phone call from Webformix; they were checking to see if everything was working to our liking...you do not get that kind of service from most internet providers. I moved to Bend from SD California. I had a plan that never capped my rates and the speed was unreal. Central Oregon does not have the exact same quality internet service and it seems like everyone uses Bendbroadband yet they have piss poor reviews. It seems like everyone feels like they HAVE to use that company.I did my research and selected Webformix. No data caps here folks!! Superb customer service. Yes, you actually talk to a human being. You select the plan based on your usage. I pay for the top one and its still slightly under $100. At least this way I know I will never go over any data caps and if I need to downgrade I can. I just stream HULU, Netflix, Amazon and my music because I cut the cord a while back on cable T.V. service. Go with the smaller local companies that know how to treat their customers. Great customer service, they did a great job at taking care of me on the one or two occasions I've needed a bit of help. Their internet service, for being what it is, is top notch. I game a lot, participate in raids online in various MMORPGs, and I have had experience with other ISPs (I will not name names) in which my connection was interrupted and resulted in me dying and caused our raid party to go without my help, resulting in our party wiping and having to start over. Major major bummer. I have not had even a hickup so far with Webformix. When we moved out here from the city and learned we could only have satelite internet service I cringed. Then I found this small company in our area and cringed further. Having 5 people in our home that use internet I was sure this small company could not meet our needs. I WAS SOO WRONG!! They answer their phones!! Very rarely do I get a machine. He was up on the roof in the twinkling of an eye, more nimble even than Santa, changing out our old receiver with a newer, better one.
