A couple of days before the scheduled date, I phoned to confirm the basics. We agreed on an arrival time, and the call was both professional and polite. On the day of the cleaning, a team of four arrived exactly as agreed. After a quick walkthrough, they got to work. Over the next three hours, they cleaned places I would never have even considered. My apartment had a lot of dust, and now there is none. This was, without question, the most expensive cleaning service I have ever used. I have hired cleaners in San Francisco, Vancouver BC, and Singapore, and for similar services the cost was roughly half. The total billed was $605, which included a discount I believe covered oven cleaning, an item I had been told would be extra beyond the hourly rate of $55 per cleaner. The overall cost was not a surprise, as we had discussed the pricing beforehand. I expected the total to be around $600, and it was. After the cleaning was complete, the invoice was sent via email, and tipping can be added at that time. That said, I am very pleased with the results. Everywhere I look is spotless. Washable Laundry I…read moream writing this review to say that Washable Laundry in Bend, Oregon is the loveliest laundromat I have ever had the pleasure to patronize! It is immaculate, modern, and well maintained, it has an excellent location and great parking, and on the day I was there it was cared for by a wonderful attendant (a blonde woman whose name I did not learn) who was constantly cleaning and providing help to everyone who needed it. I assume it is not the cheapest laundromat in Bend, but every penny has clearly been reinvested in the the machines, the facility, and the service. And the money is going to good people, because the attendant told me that the owners are the nicest people she has ever worked for. Laundromats aren't normally the most enjoyable places, but I will actually look forward to the next occasion when I need to use the services of Washable Laundry!

The parking lot is really small and street parking is a hot commodity, with the food truck and tap room spot across the street, but I found a spot in the Washable parking lot right when I pulled in on a Saturday afternoon!
