My cable tv stopped working and my internet stopped working so I called Bend Broadband...guess where my call was routed...you guessed it...The Caribbean!! The absolute worst service provider I have ever dealt with. They provide me internet service and are the only provider unless you do satellite. If you have an issue it is at least 10 days before a technician can come and fix the issue. What a joke. read more

Services are extremely and purposely crappy. Customer service is a nightmare. The policies this company has are unfair, predatory and dishonest. I've since switched to a different service and have only had CHEAPER and BETTER service. If I can encourage anyone to completely avoid BendBroadband, I absolutely 100% would. Bend Broadband is now TDS but that has not helped the situation. They don't have enough technicians so if you lose your internet service and a hard reboot doesn't work you may have to wait for over a week to get an appointment. I spoke to a commercial client and they don't get good service either. Their internet does not work, it goes down constantly and you can have to try to log on 20-30 times per day to occasionally have it work. We've checked the modem and it's not a modem issue. They don't have an escalation opportunity and their employees appear to work from home and be spread across the united states so there isn't much reason for them to worry that you don't have internet in central oregon. We obviously need another internet carrier in Sunriver. read more

I got Bend broadband service about a month and a half ago and the told me a 30 day money back and then I canceled there service and they told me 4 to 6 weeks to get my money back I paid 101$ and they tried to tell me they would only give me back 88,75 and after 5 weeks still nothing and then they did a no call no show for a tech seaport home visit wow this has to be the worst service I have ever had read more

Only open during a nine to five work day? They are a service provider that is only available while other people are at work. Taking time off of work to sit by and wait. Not happy that they say something will be done within an amount of time and come to find out they are just bidding time until it's too late to call back. You offer services but not available when needed. I really hope a real internet provider comes to town that is more available to work with its customers. read more

I agree fully with the other Yelp by L M on this business. Same experience. 2.0 star rating 8/3/2016 I was told not to use Century Link so am kind of stuck. I have been a customer for years. They made multiple appointments which took me from my work, the last one telling me I needed different cables and I would have to reschedule again. Ended up returning my cable TV system because it was not even close to the same quality as Direct TV. Suffice it to say, I paid through the nose for this. At the first sign of late payment they turned service off without notification or warning. Did I mention I have been with them for years? Charging me late fees and re-connection fees. Then telling me it will take two days for them to turn service back on. They evidently charge a ton for their time but are unwilling to credit for mine. I'm disappointed in this semi-local company. read more

BBB going through a billing change. They are not answering their phones even though they say in many letters to call if we have questions or need to make arrangements on the due date. I have been on hold for 24 hours. I have left messages to remain on cue and get a call back. Nothing ever returned. I can't access my own account to manage the auto pay information to make sure the funds are covered. Beware of a company that does not answer their phones or return calls. Three years ago I rated them terrible but something has changed. Their customer service has been friendly and absolutely top notch. Speed is good. There have been a couple of outages in the last year. I recommend giving them another shot as they are way better than they used to be. read more

Let me start by saying this is NOT BEND BROADBAND!! This is Century link and they have a clever marketing scheme to trick people into calling them for service over bend broadband. When you call their number you get a call center, it's loud, and you get a sales person with a script and hard sell sales tactic. I tried to get off the phone 4 times with them and each time they were trying to push aggressively for service sign up. I finally just hung up. You call Bend broadband, you get someone in an office, without a script, talking to you as a human and being helpful. If I could give negative stars I would. We have been trying to get service figured out at our house and i accidentally called broadband bend because it was the first company that popped up in search, so i would have never known about this had i not just pushed the call button. I had meant to call bend broadband. It only dawned on me what was happening about 1/2 way through the call when i was like "wow has their customer service really gotten this bad in a year?" NO it has not, its not the same company. To top it off they are only offering DSL as well, and when I began to ask the sales kid some pretty simple speed questions, he couldn't even answer them. Just plain awful. Their customer service is horrible and there are so many things they "cannot do" that essentially you're forced to pay all of their monthly fees and can't break the contract. Their channel packages don't even make sense, for instance you actually lose channels when you upgrade to the next package. They promote how much they help businesses too, but have shown to be even worse than residential including no option for wifi unless you buy your modem. Best advice - do your best to go with someone else, if you can. read more

More of the same, customer for 20+ years, both home and business, all in. Bend Broadband is not willing to give their best customers discounts unless they sign a 3 year contract. That is not supporting your customers, wake up! Why do we need to sign contracts at all, if you're doing a great job you wouldn't need to worry about losing customers. I also find it comical that you aren't the least bit interested in the fact that my business internet isn't working sufficiently enough for me to run my business. This company has the poorest customer service I have seen in a long time. When they installed our service I called per their instructions and paid ahead for the service over the phone. There was no connection fee. I don't live in the house full time and requested bills be sent to my permanent residence. Never received a bill there or at my permanent residence. They decided to disconnect my service without contacting me that my bill was overdue. Today received a call on how to return the modem which alerted me that perhaps something was wrong. I called them and they said they would reconnect me for $50. I don't think so. This was not my error. Finally talked to the supervisor and she was willing to split the cost. Still don't think so. This was not my error. Willing to lose a possible customer over $25? What kind of business does that?? Good luck Bend Broadband. All of the negative things I have heard about you are true. read more
