I had very high hopes when I started service with BendTel. They seemed to have solid customer…read moreservice and reasonable options for a local ISP. They even worked with me on price. Unfortunately that's before I was sold on one service, and then slipped a contract for a different service that operates at 1/10 the speed and locked into a 2 year contract. I'm a business owner, not a network engineer. A difference like that needs to be explained before just giving me a bait and switch inside of a contract. When I reached out to try and come to a resolution I was Chastised by my sales person Doug because I contacted the wrong account manager who coincidentally seemed to be the only person willing to help. After that I simply wanted to be let you of the contract I was tricked into agreeing to. Today I was informed that the cancellation cost would be over 4 thousand dollars. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach over the experience, and can't believe its happening from a local company inside of Bend.

Also require they establish your password, they know it and you can not change. Seems strange to have to share password to my business email account with their staff. Started service on 9/25/18, cancelled on 10/29/18 and one and only bill was $662.58. That is $20.00 per day!! I had 3 phone lines and internet service for a one person office!!!! Would not recommend.

Super professional and incredibly helpful through the whole process. It's a process, a system. But, if you work the system, it works!! You park, get in line, get on the list, told when you are going to get help and help comes!! I got a new phone for myself with Colton's help, then a few weeks later, got phones for my daughter and father and again, with Colton's help. I was easy for me, my daughter's situation was moderate, my dad was complicated. Colton didn't skip a beat and we have three new phones in our home and three happy customers. If you are up to it and are willing to work the system, their system does work. If you are impatient and crabby, I get it, but it's going to take a lot longer to resolve. So, my advice, be patient, realize that we are all in this together, that the staff is just doing their job and doing it to best of their ability with the resources available.

He told me I could get it cheaper at Best Buy or Costco (except I knew more than he did, those cheaper options did not come with cellular service). Once I finally convinced him to sell me a watch, when me ordered it (none were in stock), he didn't provide me the options. Find out he ordered a S/M watch bad size when I needed a M/L. Also didn't ask which band option I wanted. Basically, the employees are zero help. It was completely ineffective to shop this store.

A couple of days before the scheduled date, I phoned to confirm the basics. We agreed on an arrival time, and the call was both professional and polite. On the day of the cleaning, a team of four arrived exactly as agreed. After a quick walkthrough, they got to work. Over the next three hours, they cleaned places I would never have even considered. My apartment had a lot of dust, and now there is none. This was, without question, the most expensive cleaning service I have ever used. I have hired cleaners in San Francisco, Vancouver BC, and Singapore, and for similar services the cost was roughly half. The total billed was $605, which included a discount I believe covered oven cleaning, an item I had been told would be extra beyond the hourly rate of $55 per cleaner. The overall cost was not a surprise, as we had discussed the pricing beforehand. I expected the total to be around $600, and it was. After the cleaning was complete, the invoice was sent via email, and tipping can be added at that time. That said, I am very pleased with the results. Everywhere I look is spotless. I was beginning to think the location of this home was going to prevent an adequate Internet connection, after trying CenturyLink and Viasat, both of which failed miserably. (TDS does not serve our area just east of Sisters.) Based on neighbor input, we decided to try Yellowknife, and we are really pleased with both the performance and (especially) the customer service. Everyone we've had contact with has been great, from the front office people to the installers and in particular the tech support. In our latest interaction, we were trying to figure out how we could possibly be going over our monthly limit frequently, given our relatively limited usage. Not only did tech support help educate us on possible causes, they also loaned us a tracking router to pinpoint exactly what devices and processes might be contributing. With Taylor's guidance, we found that OneDrive was sucking up huge amounts of information, and he even led us through the process to adjust the settings. The tracking router has confirmed that the changes have taken effect, and I could not be happier. We were a Bend Broadband customer for 10 years before moving to Sisters, and we NEVER got customer service like this. read more

A lot of people only look to the bottom line, net (supposed) cost, when choosing an internet provider. What you don't see are all the games and bs you are going to pay over time, when you cancel, upgrade etc. Point in case, I just had to haggle for three hours with Century Link to get them to return $350.00 they took from me for months of billing after my account was closed. I bring this up, as the install costs of Yellowknife should not dissuade you from doing business with them. They are the only provider since moving to Central Oregon who has not only delivered on time, or at all, but has consistently exceeded my expectations with their amazing customer service (I speak to the same person each time and she remembers me and my individual situation). I am moving once again from a rural area, where Yellowknife saved me, to an area wired for fiber. I could go with the big boys, but after they pushed me off for months with no returned calls and a lot of runaround, I will be keeping my business with Yellowknife. They don't make companies with service like this anymore,; or do they? With Yellowknife unicorns do exist. read more

Since it looks like my previous review was deleted, it's time to add a new one. Stay far away from the company. They will scam you and charge you exorbitant prices for the worst service you've ever had. They are unreachable outside of limited business hours, and service outages are very common and almost always unexplained. If you work from home, you will be dropped from video calls repeatedly. Streaming video is pixelated most of the time. Random outages that last 15 minutes to multiple hours or even days are not uncommon and you will not get any notification, apology, or credit for them. I was once charged a $400 overage fee for service I did not use because I could not 'prove' I was not streaming video in the wee hours of the morning for weeks on end. I'm asleep and my devices are off then! I've had Comcast and AT&T before, but nothing rivals the awfulness of this company. I'm on every waitlist out there for different service. If you have other options, do yourself a favour and skip this place. read more

I decided that it is time for a review. I live pretty rural as well as at the bottom of the butte where the towers are located, which has made it hard for any local to Prineville company to provide us with any sort of service. Yellow Knife thought about the hard to reach locations and made it possible for us to have internet which is so important to our on- line home school needs. We have been with this company for around 2 years and they have worked with us to provide the best service to meet our needs, which has been a daunting task. Yellow Knife continues to work for us to provide the best service.....and I have called a lot, too much maybe. Thanks a ton for the GREAT FRIENDLY and very helpful service you have provided. We have lived in Central Oregon for quite some time and have had experience with many of the internet service providers available here - and I can honestly say our experience with Yellowknife Wireless has been the absolute best! We moved out of town and realized quickly the limited options available to us. Some friends recommended Yellowknife, and although we were hesitant at first, I am so happy we chose them. Our service now is even better than when we were with the big boys in town! At one time, we realized we were going over our data limits, but one quick call to the office and the ladies helped us figure everything out! (And I didn't have to wait forever on hold or get transferred 10 times!) We had no idea how much data certain things use! Every encounter with them, from their office staff, to the techs, and even their installers - has been great. We love that they are truly 100% local. I am tempted to say that I am the most loyal Yellowknife customer, but given the outstanding service I receive from them, I am guessing that most of their customers feel the same way. Whether it's the gals at the front desk who always have the answer to my questions, no matter how big or small to the receiving extra data during the holidays, I truly feel like they care about my needs. To say they go the extra mile is a massive understatement. I lived outside an area they provided services to and when I moved back to an area where I could choose them as my carrier I immediately dumped CenturyLink. When I got serious about making an offer on a property recently one of my calls was to the gals at the front desk to make sure that the property I was considering was inside their service area. Yellowknife is far and away the best internet provider we have ever had. It is fast and reliable. Have had two VERY brief interruptions over the two years we have been with them, both due to tower issues and both fixed within a short time. Customer service is super good. Tech support is patient and helpful, the office staff is great to work with, and we could not be happier with the product they provide. While a bit expensive to install as we needed to get their equipment up into a tree for a good signal, it has been worth the investment. We spend less per month on Yellowknife than we did on previous providers who could not provide us with reliable and consistent service. Happily recommend them without hesitation. read more

The ladies at Yellowknife are so customer friendly. I am from the valley, lived over here with Bend broadband, and moved to the country with fewer choices. Selected Yellowknife and tried metered internet for the first time. In a little over 2 years we have approached our limit twice when my sister visits. I was going to try an expensive to me unlimited plan. Both ladies suggested trying the next step up from our current plan after reviewing our usage. Moved out to Powell Butte and a friend recommended Yellowknife Wireless. Install was quick and service has been great, even when my puppy chewed through the outside cable they were able to get out the next day to fix it (for a fee obviously because it was our error). And thank goodness because my toddler couldn't miss another minute of Minions the movie that we've seen about a million times! We are a cattle ranch in Terrebonne and Yellowknife has gone out of its way to make sure our Internet signal is sufficient for our online sales. This is of paramount importance to us and previously when we had Dish, it was so slow that we could not use it unless Dish increased the data plan to the point that it would have been extremely expensive, and still slower than what we got with Yellowknife. read more

I dropped off my truck on 3/2/2026 for a new stereo installation after explaining the week prior…read morethat my old stereo was cutting out and draining the battery. I was told to just drop it off on 3/2--no specific time was given. When I arrived at 9:30 AM, George didn't know who I was and said he had marked me as a no-show. That should have been my first red flag. I left my truck anyway and was told I'd get a text when it was ready. By 3 PM, I hadn't heard anything, so I called--only to find out it had already been done and no one bothered to notify me. When I picked it up, I was told the dashboard piece we had discussed the week before wasn't ordered and would take about a week. Two weeks later, I had to call again, and once again George had no idea what I was talking about--though somehow the part was there. I scheduled another appointment, and the same thing happened: no call or text when it was ready. We had to stop by, and my truck was just sitting in the lot. To make things worse, the stereo is still having the same issue--music cuts out randomly. I stopped in again on 4/3 and scheduled a follow-up for 4/9, but needed to reschedule. When I called, George again didn't know why I was coming in, put me on hold saying he was "under a car," and never returned to the phone call. I waited nearly 10 minutes before having to hang up and go back to work. I followed up with a text and never got a response. At this point, I'm done. The communication is terrible, the issue was never fixed, and I've had to make multiple trips for something that should have been handled correctly the first time. I just wanted a working stereo--not this level of hassle. I'll be taking my truck somewhere else.
