5-Star Review for Dave's Moving Service…read more I've used Dave for both long-distance and local moves, and I can say without hesitation--he's one of a kind. Dave is a genuine-hearted individual who truly cares about his clients. He's not in it to make a quick buck and never takes advantage of anyone. As a senior citizen, I've dealt with many moving companies over the years that promise quality and service but deliver nothing more than empty marketing. Dave is the complete opposite. He tells you exactly what the cost will be--no hidden fees, no nickel and diming. What you see is what you get, and that honesty is rare these days. On top of that, Dave is incredibly handy. He takes the time to disassemble furniture, office desks, or anything else that requires extra effort--and he does it with care. I'm giving Dave a solid five stars and looking forward to our upcoming move from Mission Viejo to Las Vegas on Monday. I'll be following up with another review to share how that experience goes. Thank you, Dave. God bless you, and we appreciate your incredible support.

After living in the same apartment in Corona for eight years, I finally moved to Irvine. To be…read morehonest, I was terrified before moving day. I was so stressed that my whole body was reacting to the anxiety. In all of my previous moves, my brother rented a U-Haul with a couple of helpers, and somehow we always ended up with broken furniture or damaged belongings. This time I decided to spend a little more because I'd rather pay professionals than have to throw away broken furniture and buy everything again. I searched through about ten different moving companies, and Two Men and a Truck stood out to me. I'm actually the type of person who reads the negative reviews first, not the positive ones, and I noticed this company had almost no bad reviews. That's what convinced me to book them. On July 21, Ivan and Adrian arrived at my apartment at 9:00 AM. I had already packed most of the smaller items myself and taken them over in my car, and my dad had wrapped some of the larger furniture the night before. But the moment Ivan and Adrian walked through the door, it honestly felt like someone had poured cold water over all my stress. I instantly felt calm. They were incredibly professional. They carefully wrapped everything that still needed protection, moved everything efficiently, and handled every piece of furniture with so much care that I found myself just standing there watching them work. Before I knew it, my apartment was completely empty, and somehow they had fit everything perfectly into the truck. When we arrived at my new apartment, the closest elevator was unfortunately out of service, so they had to use a much farther elevator and walk a much longer distance with every load. Even with that unexpected challenge, they never complained. They kept smiling, stayed positive, and worked just as hard from beginning to end. My new apartment door was smaller than my old one, so they removed the legs from my sofa to get it inside and then reassembled it perfectly. They also disassembled and reassembled my bed, and honestly, they put it back together even better than it had been before. What I expected to be a nightmare turned into one of the smoothest and most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Thanks to Ivan and Adrian, I'm no longer afraid of moving. The biggest surprise came afterward. My dad and I were adding up all of our moving expenses, and we realized the total ended up being even less than we had expected to pay. Not only were there no hidden charges, but the final cost was actually lower than we anticipated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Two Men and a Truck, and especially to Ivan and Adrian. You turned one of the most stressful days of my life into a wonderful memory. I won't even think twice about using this company again in the future, and I'll happily recommend you to all of my friends and family.

The process was incredibly easy, especially considering that I am located in Boston, Massachusetts. Using the online portal made the reservation process simple, and the upfront payment system was straightforward and convenient. He provided helpful information about cross-state moving and answered several other moving-related questions I had. Speaking with him reassured me that he was not only a knowledgeable mover but also someone dedicated to providing excellent customer service. That commitment showed on moving day. My movers arrived 15 minutes early, worked diligently and efficiently for my scheduled 1.15 min move, and were extremely helpful. They even assisted with taking items to the nearby Salvation Army, which Steve had previously provided information about in case I needed to donate anything. Overall, I had a great experience with Dirt Cheap Movers. If you're looking for a dependable, reliable, and honest moving company with reasonable rates, I highly recommend them. They also provide moving services across the U.S., which is an added bonus. Third time was NOT a charm. I first used this company January 2020. They were phenomenal back then…read more Fast forward to March 2026 qand they were still great. Until the 3rd move June 2026. I had to move due to issues with repairs never being done and mold because my landlord is a slumlord. (Do NOT rent from C&S Apartments!) Anyway, the movers the 2nd time around were nice, professional and as quick as could be considering they were helping me pack up to move my belongings into a storage unit. They didn't waste time and were kind. BUT they failed to wrap my solid cherry wood bed set in moving blankets which resulted in all my furniture being scratched up and damaged in the 3rd move, where once again they did NOT wrap my items when moving them out of storage, into the van and then into my new apartment. On the 3rd move the Forman was upset that there were 2 flights of stairs to move the dresser up, despite me saying so in the questionnaire when booking. The Forman said to me that they'd have to charge extra for the stairs. Which I said NO to because that should have been done in the estimate. He kept saying the dresser was heavy... well, your company loved it twice already and no one else whined about it. He then told me, " if you give us a bigger tip, we won't have to charge for it." I let him know that they moved the same dresser up the stairs to the last apartment and didn't charge extra. He also dragged out ending the moving time because he wanted more hours. I literally had to bring boxes in to try to counteract his stalling tactic. Unfortunately, it didnt help because he then hid in the truck while the other 2 guys were putting together my bed. My couch cushion was damaged and they broke a dresser drawer. I was told they'd come and fix it, but 3 months later they never did. I had to go buy the wood glue and do it myself. The company doesn't have full insurance, so don't bother if something major) like my solid wood night stand) gets damaged. You will not be compensated for it. I did get some money for the leather couch cover, but not enough to purchase a new one. Find a company that has full insurance and will own up to their mistakes, if made. There are so many scratches and chips on my bed set. Not to mention missing feet caps that were not missing before the 2nd move. This 3rd move left me with damaged furniture and no accountability for fixing it when they said they would. Instead I was told, "it's the end of the month and we have a lot of moves. Your repair is not a priority." So much for being a loyal customer who had used them 3 times. FIND A BETTER COMPANY! THIS ONE IS NO LONGER GOOD!
