I was immediately compensated for the issues I had surfaced and am extremely grateful to the Qshark team for doing so. **ORIGINAL** Unfortunately I cannot say I would recommend Qshark. We hired them for a cross country move and were very hopeful for a smooth process given the total cost we were quoted. Prior to the move, I will say the customer service was great. Any question we had was answered promptly and clearly over email, which was very helpful when preparing for the move. On the day of pick up, the movers were punctual, organized, kind and respectful. I have no complaints for the first half of the move. The delivery is where things started to go south. Our movers assured us they would arrive by July 1, however the night before I received a text from Frank that the movers were very delayed and were likely going to miss the delivery date. He let me know the battery had died in the moving truck and therefore they were unable to make the agreed upon delivery date. This was a problem as we had no accommodations for that night, assuming we would've been able to stay in our new home. Frank offered to cover the cost of any hotel expenses we incurred, which was the right thing to do given the circumstances. However, I did have to follow up with him once or twice to complete the reimbursement, which again isn't the type of service I would expect given the premium cost we paid and unique circumstances. When the movers arrived the next day, things looked positive as they were unloading all the furniture. However once they left we realized several items were either missing or damaged. Our bed frame, bar cabinet, shoe cabinet and futon all had either pieces missing or parts that had been dinged. On top of all of that, our TV screen had been damaged in the move. I have since been asking for claim details to get reimbursed for the TV repairs, and have followed up daily with no progress or confirmation that we will be compensated for the damages. Overall while the movers themselves were wonderful, the service of Qshark fell far below expectation and I would not book with them again.

My 93-year-old stepdad needed to move from one apartment in his La Verne retirement community to another one with more intensive care. My stepsister and I flew in from the east coast to make this happen, so there was little room for something to go wrong. The distance between the two apartments was less than .3 mile, and I was worried about moving companies dismissing us because it wasn't worth their while. After many calls to movers in the area, I found House 2 Home, which was a HUGE blessing. The owner, Doug, didn't flinch at the job, and Gabriel and Mark showed up on time and were professional, efficient and tremendously kind in equal measure. They were so respectful of the fact that there were aging people living there, for example waiting patiently to work around a guy helping his dad out of a car and into a wheelchair. When our plan to sell some of furniture in the first (larger) apartment fell apart and knowing we were from out of town and time-crunched, they agreed to make an unplanned second trip to a thrift shop to donate the extra stuff. They even made suggestions where to place furniture in the new place given it was smaller than the first. So grateful to have found these guys and would recommend them to anyone looking for amazing support and service. read more

I had the pleasure for having Doug and his team "Gabriel, Mark & Carlos today Sat 4/17/2021 . They were on time and very professional. They did everything plants "some heavy also my couch that I really didn't think it would be able to get in the door .. It was a big move , however they all handled it like champs . Some was a elevator to the 3rd floor and big couch up two flights of stairs . They never missed a beat . I will refer them to others and for myself when the time comes for moving again . I will tell you , my shade umbrella hit the pavement and base cracked I was fine with glue they had " no worries " . They did the most incredible thing "one of the crew went the store and purchased a new one for me . I give Doug and his crew 200% for all they did for me . Price is great for everything they did . First off, shoutout for Doug for booking me on my first call! We wanted to shop around and he had the best prices from some of the other companies I was looking for. His communication was excellent, had great prices and broke it down perfectly to where I knew I wasn't going to get cheated. They were on time and knew the perfect amount of workers to get my move done. They made sure to let me and my wife, along with our infant son, that they can take everything even if we were planning on keeping some stuff behind. They were pros in packing and even better in unpiacking and helping me arrange the items since I couldn't really do it by myself. They worked hard and fast, which can be rare when paying by the hour. I highly, highly recommend House 2 Home Movers! Doug and his crew were more than professional. Arrived right on time, and were ready to go. His two helpers were great as well, forgive me but I forgot their names. My wife and I were moving things as well and they constantly asked if we wanted help or "hey, we got it" To me, pricing was fair. It was like a total of 7-8 hour job. They wrapped up all tvs, furniture, and all valuables. They took apart some furniture, and even put it back together at the new house! They also took down all my tv mounts, but don't reinstall. Wow, what a great experience! Doug was very responsive and helpful. He was able to accommodate our move request quickly. His crew, Gabriel and Ismael, were absolutely fabulous. They each introduced themselves and carried themselves very professionally. They wrapped the furniture, removed the couch feet, and helped move other furniture out of the way with expert skill. Although it has taken me a while to get to writing this review (because, of course, life happens), I HAVE to write to say how great this company is. Both Doug and Cruz moved my office and waiting room at the end of 2021 within a few hours. Although they were taking all my belongings to a thrift store (because I was temporarily closing my office), they wrapped, packaged, and handled the furniture and all the accessories with great care. In addition, they were not only knowledgeable about a variety of matters, but professional, thoughtful, and kind as well. Doug was very helpful right from the initial contact. A moving date was set up and he kept me posted in between in case there was a cancellation. On the day of the move, he kept in touch letting me know that his first job was taking more time than expected. He texted me with the progress, so I would have a clearer idea of when they would arrive. When he arrived with 2 other movers, they were efficient and very careful with the few things that were to be moved. After the items were relocated, they made sure that each item was placed exactly where i wanted it, using a measuring tape for accuracy. I would definitely recommend House 2 Home Movers! read more

After the death of a loved one, I needed a mover on short notice. I sent a request for bids on line late in the evening and got a response within a few minutes. At 11pm we set up an appointment for the next day. Doug and his companion showed up on time, and were professional and discreet moving items out of a retirement home facility. Although we didn't need the 4 hour minimum for the job, I still feel the price was fair for the service received. I would totally use them again, and recommend them to my friends and family. Is 6 stars an option?! Doug and Mark showed up to pick up my items - in pouring rain - on time. They shrink wrapped them, allowed me to add one more item, relocated an item in Location 1, and delivered safely my things to Location 2. During traffic, we were separated and that may make you nervous. FEAR NOT! They delivered my things to my house just as they promised. They unloaded them and placed them where I wanted. Unlike other moving companies, Master Movers do not charge for heavy item fees or bulky item feee. This allowed us to have a clear understanding of what the move would cost and that's exactly what I appreciate in a moving company.
