I recently used Dirt Cheap Moving to relocate my Pilates studio (a TON of specialized, heavy equipment) and some other big items like my husband's Santa Maria Grill--which is insanely heavy--and the experience was absolutely amazing! Nacho (Ignacio) and Ernesto were our movers and they were incredible. They showed up early (5:58 AM for a 6:00 AM move!), were fast, professional, kind, and handled everything with such care. This is my second review of Dirt Cheap Movers. Again, a job very well done. This is the second portion of our move. This portion was a move from our storage facility in Eastvale Calif., to our new house in Utah. These guys worked their tails off. Both in the loading of there trucks (they needed 2 trucks) in Eastvale, to unloading in Utah. They were great at putting everything in the correct rooms, they were very careful not to hit the walls, bang against the door jams, and overall not do any damage. There was nothing broken, nothing damaged, and everything was unwrapped and put back together. The crew was friendly, and a total enjoyment to deal with. I want to give a big thank you to Daniel, Mark, Ignacio, and Xavier for all the hard work. Also a big thank you to Ernesto for packing the truck in Eastvale so well nothing was damaged. We had a LOT of people tell us to be "very careful" when picking movers, there are a lot of scams going on. I'm here to tell you Dirt Cheap Movers are honest, truthful, and enjoyable to work with. Steven the owner has a very organized system when you get on their company website. After I submitted I received updates very quickly. We both communicated well to coordinate a good and timely service close to one week in advance of when I needed the job done. I needed items from my garage to go into the house and had 3 guys come in to help my husband move the things in (tv console, 5 dressers, shoe racks, sofa, king and queen mattresses- just to name a few). I used the hourly service and they finished exactly when I needed them to and for what I could afford. The timing from start to finish worked out good and the hourly rate is fair and better than another moving company I used before (I won't name).
