For 2 and 1/2 years I have been calling Tony, the owner, for repairs, replacements, build-outs, etc., etc., etc. Replace water heater, install all "code approved" electrical to get approval on a refinance, took a tiny back porch and created a wonderful getaway with hot-tub, music, water misters, edison lights, ceiling fans and a sound-proofing wall to not bother the neighbors, a greenhouse, picket-fencing. I can only speak to the repairs this company attempted to do. I had 2 outlets that were dead. After hours of troubling shooting and explaining when they had gone bad, I had them stop the work. I authorized for them to cut the facia board to access the area. However they were not careful and cut the line wrk our direct tv and also made 2 slits into our brand new aluminum patio cover. They all broke off part of the roof plywood, under my roof tiles. At this point I told to stop and clean up and I would call an electrician out. 5 days with no direct tv and the electrician came out and had them fixed with the hours and had said they wires were all switched around, which this company did prior to cutting. Tony is a great handyman. I need to replace the fence gate that was damaged beyond repair. I found the Two Brothers from yelp and called for estimate. Tony was able to come the next day and the estimate was good so I decided to have him do the job. The best thing is that he was able to do it that same day. The new gate looks really nice. I went ahead and contacted two other handymen services, one of which set up an appointment but did not show up at the appointed time, and another that seemed suspicious and appeared to be screening calls to their supposed business number. That business, All-in-1 Home Services, completely flaked out. So, after wasting time with two unreliable businesses (both from FB) I contacted Tony again and he came out and fixed my fence. We hired Tony to fix some rotting wood and hang a rack from the ceiling. He did make an obvious mistake while hanging the rack but was quick to fix it when I pointed it out. He and his partner were good, hard workers, and I liked the quality of their work enough to ask them to come back. I had them come out for two separate jobs. The first job was to unclog my kitchen sink. He checked the main line and found the problem. I asked him to replace the existing pipes, which were done improperly. He put new pipes in it looks great. He left the old ones in the backyard for me, so I check it. The second job was fence repair and repaint. He and his brother were there promptly at 8 and were done quickly. Personality and demeanor are important to me. He was friendly without being overly chatty. When my grandmother was there for the first job he made her feel comfortable and she felt he was very friendly and trustworthy. I am honestly not the type to complain, but please do yourself a favor, consider more experienced handymen. I had 2 Brothers replace 2 faucets/pop-up assemblies in my master bedroom bathroom. Both are now leaking from under the sink. When I called them, they told me the warranty was over and I should've checked their work. It's only been 2 months. This afternoon, I hired a plumber to come look at the sinks. He told me the pop up assemblies weren't properly sealed, and additionally, the faucets were installed backwards. On the same job, I also asked 2 Brothers to replace some light switch panels that were cracked and discolored. After they finished, I noticed the 2 hallway light switches at either end of the hallway were not in sync. I had to go from one end of the hallway and back to work the switches properly. They told me that the switches were out of sync when they came, and that one switch was the wrong type. I had an electrician look at the switches a few weeks later. He told me nothing was wrong with the switches, and the 2 Brothers wired the switches wrongly. I asked Tony from 2 Brothers about both leaking sinks and the light switch panels. He was so defensive, didn't take any responsibility. He kept on saying they didn't touch the washers on the sink, and I should've checked their work.
