One hamburger is in a large bag and an order of tater tots small
    austin m.

Unfortunately, I did not read all of the reviews before coming through this drive-through that I've now been waiting for 15 minutes. If you're in a hurry, this is not the place to be. Go to what a burger if you want fresh burgers and to wait for five minutes if you've got time to kill I guess come to way back. Got the burger and tater tots and they totally messed up the order of the time I got where I needed to be. If this is any sign of how healthy this food is, for burgers and fries. This is still pretty greasy. I have to say the girl working there was very sweet and apologetic for wait. Burger was seriously MEH!!

    BUFFALO CHICKEN
    Courtney B.

I came to this location yesterday as the Things elected to forgo a traditional Easter lunch this year in favor of a cheat day. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich As most have come to know, Buffalo sauce is typically made from hot sauce and butter. Many Buffalo chicken sauce recipes will also include Worcestershire Sauce as well as additional seasonings like garlic or cayenne. Generally speaking, buffalo is medium hot seasoning. The Buffalo chicken sandwich served here has more 'sweet' than heat. The level of sweet can be described as tangy and subtly fruity. Unfortunately, because the degree of sweet overpowered the heat, this fell short on expectations. Cajun Burger This burger is supposed to come with two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and Cajun remoulade. I ordered this menu item without tomato. Instead, what I received was a burger without bacon, lettuce, or tomatoes. Per the review photo, the top photo of the burger was what the burger is supposed to look like, yet the bottom photo is what I received. Therefore, I can't accurately rate a menu item I did not receive. I did not return this menu item as by the time I reached my home, I would have had to double back to the restaurant, leaving the other menu item I ordered left to become cold. While I understand that this is fast food, it should be at least the food I paid for.

    BBQ soup.

Okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. Asked for light bbq sauce on my kids hot dog, it was dripping wet. Somehow got tomatoes on my burger when I didn't order it with tomato's. The rest was ok. But when have to pre tip for an order there is no easy recourse getting that back. I should have checked the reviews before I went. The 2.5 stars is spot on for this place.

The food was so good and fresh... they give you a great portion of fries and the customer service was top tier. I visited for the first time 1/15/26 and I will be coming back to try breakfast.

Ordered a cheeseburger with all of the toppings and a couple extra dollars for bacon (for my grandma that was patient across the street at seton) Service was quick, took the food back to the hospital and realized they gave us a dry and flavorless cheeseburger. $45 for a burger, 3 shakes, and a side of tots&fries. Fries and tots were lacking flavor- tasted like old grease. I called and requested a refund for the burger and my information was taken and I was told I'd get a call from a manager to process the refund. I could care less about $10, I just don't understand how someone can't read an order correctly. Store was empty when I came to pick up my order. Never got a call, definitely will not be returning.

Our halal beef is from Wolverine, halal chicken from Amish and halal cheese steak from Bella.

Do you offer gluten free bun options?

Wayback Burgers does not offer gluten free buns. They do have lettuce wraps though.

Everything about this place rocks. The food was delicious! We tried the goat cheese appetizer with sourdough. They mix it at the table which is cool because they explain what each of the ingredients is. I had a steak salad and my friend had the chopped chicken salad. Both amazing. But the winner is that whiskey cake. So luxurious. Not too sweet. With a huge heaping of real whipped cream. Easily can feel 3 or 4 people! Cocktails are refined and boozy!

I order the yard bird. it was an oven baked chicken with veggies. good, but not worth $22. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people? I don't know. the experience wasn't bad but, it didn't hold up to the standard of whiskey cake that I'm used to. especially for $66. the Katy location was so good, it even smelled like whiskey cake. and I remembered this restaurant brand having more culinary forward items like their blue cheese chips during happy hour. (which i lovedddd) If I'm ever out in Round Rock again, I may give it another try, but it won't be for brunch.

The Bichota cocktail was a standout--sweet, refreshing, and with just enough of a kick to keep you sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned was equally impressive: sweet yet balanced, served in a stylish glass with a unique holder that made the experience feel elevated. For food, the chicharrón with fried yuca and tostones was perfection. The pork was fried to a crisp golden shell without being greasy, and seasoned just right--not too salty, but enough to make every bite crave-worthy. The yuca and tostones were cut to the perfect thickness for even cooking, with a satisfying crunch outside and tender inside, especially when dipped into their garlicky sauce. The cheese sticks are an absolute must-have--crispy outside, oozy inside, and dangerously addictive. And the arepas? Exceptionally good--stuffed with beans, cheese, beef, and sweet plantains for that perfect salty-sweet balance. Every plate showed attention to texture, seasoning, and presentation. Price Considering the quality of ingredients, creative plating, and generous portions, the prices felt fair for a fusion dining experience. The cocktails were crafted with care and worth every penny. Appetizers could easily be shared, making it easy to get variety without breaking the bank. Environment We sat outside and it was amazing for groups, dates, and inside it is super cool. The décor is not fancy but really fun Austin style. There is a section bar where they play music which I want to try. Service The service was cool and amicable. It looks the server was new but he did give recommendations. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great pairing suggestions. Dishes came out at a good pace, and drinks were refreshed quickly. You could tell the staff was proud of the food they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. Overall: If you're looking for a place where Latin flavors meet creative execution, this spot is worth the visit. Come hungry, order a mix of small plates, and don't skip the cocktails--or the garlic sauce.
