That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn't want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn't like peanut butter then you're out of luck. There's a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you're into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don't explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!

The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. It's something that seems perfectly possible in pretty much every other country but the U.S. The moment you sit down, the waiter asks what they can get for you. They handed you the menu three seconds ago. There was absolutely no time to glance through it, evaluate your options, or discuss them with whoever you're sharing the table with. This happened at Roaring Fork, but it also happens 95% of the time I go out to dinner. Then the food comes, you eat, say no to dessert, and voilà: the check is waiting for you! Again, you can't just sit back and relax, take your time deciding whether you want dessert, maybe order a coffee or another drink. They want you out of there ASAP, and somehow you're still expected to tip 20%, which is ludicrous, but this is another conversation. Now, specifically regarding Roaring Fork, I do wonder what actually constitutes a "fancy" place. What is it? The view of the lake isn't exactly impressive. The inside is cute. Does having a cute interior make a place fancy, is that it? Or is it the high-priced menu? There's no bread offered at the table, nothing particularly special. I am genuinely lost when it comes to what makes a place "nice" these days.
