Chicken sandwich, cheese burger, fries, fried pickles, and Electric Jellyfish IPA from Pinthouse Brewing which they had on tap.

Update: It took a whole month and an Austin 311 Code Enforcement request to get this simple matter resolved, but I am pleased to report that my entire apartment complex has our nighttime darkness back, and the bar's security lights now point down onto their own property. I have had zero in-person interactions with the owners of this establishment, but after this experience, and reading the appalling way customers, former supporters, and ex employees are spoken to online in public replies from the business owner (see Google), there is very little that could convince me to return to this venue as a customer. When there are this many messy online interactions with your client base, it's time to look in the mirror and consider hiring a marketing/pr manager who can handle public relations with grace.

We went to mutts tonight for an event and tour of the grounds which was quite nice. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Food took about 15 minutes to come out which is average. I wanted to write this review because the grilled cheese and fried pickle sandwich as well as the frozen pomegranate lemonade were both very impressive. I would go back just for these! Fries were average. Thanks mutts for a great time!

Double Mutt Cheese Burger with crinkle-cut fries

The service today for my family and I along with a couple of friends was great! One of the owners came out and talked with us about our food experience. He asked us what we thought about our food. Most of us bought the double mutt cheeseburgers and two of my kids got the chicken tender meals. All the meals come with a drink and crinkle-cut fries. And meals are right at or under $10. With today's inflated prices not a bad deal for bringing a family to eat here. We let the owner know about our opinions with our food and he took some mental notes. One of the orders did get a mix up; however, the owner replaced the burger with the correct order of just a plain burger. We had to give our friend some hazing for ordering just a plain burger. But even the owner respected his wishes and understood the importance of his customer's wishes. Everything was made fresh and the crinkle-cut fries were cooked on point! Not overcooked and not undercooked! They even had enough salt flavor to them. I think they should consider selling some seasoned fries or chilly cheese fries. I cannot remember if they offered that on their menu. They plenty of alcohol choices to choose from on tap as well. There are some TVs in the area, but they definitely could some more for the big UT, FC, or NFL games. The staff today were very friendly and cheerful! The young lady and man taking orders were way cool! They asked us how our day was and we returned the common courtesy of asking how their day was as well. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy your meal if you're there just to eat and not use the dog park. I didn't bring my pets because I wanted to check out the atmosphere here first. They offer a lot of fun for your pets here. Just like children you have some rowdy pets full of excitement because they want to play with other pets. If you can get passed the anxiety of that you will be okay should you run into some of those type of pets. When you enter the facility you have two gender neutral restrooms and there's a dog wash tub right next to the bathrooms to wash up your pets. Parking space is very limited. Parking any large vehicles is going to be tight, but if you have a compact or SUV type vehicle you will be okay. They even have charging station parking for you early adopter EV crowd. When I said parking was tight they did say where else I could park in the future. That was a cool tip in my book. But be warned people with larger vehicles parking space is tight. As for the dog park check out their website before coming here with your pet. They do have a set of rules you must follow and I agree with them. Per their website information about the dog park: "To Enter The Park, Dogs Mutts Be: Spayed / Neutered Friendly and sociable around people and other dogs (not overly aggressive). Flea and tick free Current within the calendar year on vaccinations, including rabies, dhlppc and bordetella." The location of this place is in a perfect spot but I can see this place taking off in the Austin area that they are going to need more locations around the area once everyone catches on to this place. Again, come check this place out everyone... before bringing your pets check their website out and FAQ section of the dog park. Great information to help you and your pet's experience be a fun full filled of enjoyment! Also, they accept contact less payment such as Apple or Google pay.

Everyone who knows me knows I normally 100% support any dog-friendly venue. I really wanted to love this place but I have to be honest when I say that my entire experience was so disappointing. If this wasn't a dog-friendly venue I would be giving 1 or 2 stars max. Let's start with the a positive- the people who greeted us were very friendly. It pretty much goes downhill from there.... One of the things that lured me in to check this place out was the promise that their Bark Rangers picked up after your dog ( so you don't have to watch them like a hawk the entire time) and made sure water bowls were full. I legit saw 3 dogs poo right in front of the "bark rangers" and they just looked away. There was poo scattered everywhere. I ended up picking up 3 big piles that weren't even from my dogs but my dogs were so close to stepping in it I just did it myself. The bartenders have no idea what they're doing. They didn't even know how to open a cocktail shaker. Not kidding. They also measure your drinks to a ridiculous standpoint. They fill the cup with so much ice it's crazy overflowing so when I asked for less ice the drink mix they were trained to memorize barely made it past the halfway point. They filled the rest with soda water which didn't make the drink taste good. I guess I just don't understand why anyone would ever pay to become a member here when they don't have any real perks to membership? The Bark Rangers don't clean up after your dog so you still have to watch them like a hawk. You only get a 10% discount on food and no discount on drinks. Also, the drinks aren't cheap and they barely, barely, contain one shot of alcohol and the food is totally meh, not memorable. The space isn't even that big. I mean, why would anyone pay to bring your dog(s) to a mediocre dog park when they have massive amazing dog parks in the area for free? Disappointing. Oh- and the splash pad doesn't work? I asked 3 workers and 2 told me it doesn't work and 1 told me it wasn't on because of weather but admitted she has never seen it on. If you're going to charge membership fees then bring attractions to why someone should pay to be a member. Well-made good drinks at a discount, delicious food at a discount. Experienced help. Helpful help. Cleaner bathrooms. None of those are included at this place. Not worth it. Stay away.

The staff here is amazing! My dog is shy and sadly not dog friendly, but loves being outside - so we had to sit on the benches area to stay cool etc, and the team made sure to give my pup extra love which really stood out and made it a true joy to be there! He loved the food, pupsicle, and the food we had as well - hamburger with fries, was also delicious! Love this place, and will definitely return!

The space, the vibe is so great. We need more places like this up north. The staffs are all super stars, they greeted all the pups as if they were theirs. Once we were sat they immediately bring icy water bowl for my dog. Later, a staff even gifted my dog a pupsticle, and fed him until he finished. I love that girl!

This space is huge and super clean & brand spanking new. We had their cheeseburger and chicken sando. Both were pretty good. The fries came with each order and a drink. We had a cabana (reservable at a pretty good rate) which was enclosed so our dogs were able to enjoy their separate time until they were ready to mingle. Separate enclosures for big and small dogs, a splash pad, two separate places to order food and bar, a stage ... this place has everything. We sat back and dog watched while eating our sandwiches and sipping on our pawgarita drink.

No shade to speak of besides the eating area just tons of wood chips and some plastic chairs scattered around.

We really wanted to like this place and had planned on getting a membership when we heard it was opening. That said, it has a couple major flaws that once fixed would make it a great place to go. - there's zero shade. Like, none lol. Not a tree or overhang or shade sail in sight. The only covered area is the bar / eating area and the splash pad. - the splash pad's ground is all angled in so the water drains properly, which is fine except the ground is slippery af. Watched so many dog's legs slipping out from under them just from walking around. Senior dogs or dogs with hip problems, beware! Adding grippy flooring like a pool deck would solve this easily. - besides in the eating area, there was almost no seating; just some flimsy plastic chairs scattered around. Some benches or picnic tables would be great. I'd love to visit again and be able to update this review! It has so much potential.

Rex doesn't know which he likes more to retrieve or get a belly rub from Bark Ranger Amanda!

No Dog? no problem! I'm a dog "grandparent" about ready to dive in again but in the interim I enjoy stopping by to enjoy a cold brew (fav bartender Kira) and play with the dogs ("Rex" the retrieving lemon beagle my personal favorite!) along with my favorite Bark Rangers Amanda and Nathan!

My dog's second favorite place! People are so nice here! My dog always has so much fun. It's really clean and the drinks are great. We have gotten hh sundays which are $3 mimosas. Food is great as well! And the fact that they have so many amenities for dogs and people makes this place the best dog park in Austin.

Love the concept. Food and drinks are good. 4/5 only because they need a better call system to pickup food. I suggest by number instead of name. Many people with same first name got their orders wrong due to this.

Fun and relaxing space to hang with the pooch after work. Grab a beer, food, and let the pup(s) play. Membership is worth it if you go more than a few times in a month. Day pass is pricey. Staff is awesome

Let's start with the cons: it's seriously off the beaten path- there's nothing out there. Bring everything you need- water, food, sunscreen etc. Secondly, there is literally no beach- just rocks, lots of rocks. Lastly, it is not dog, kid, or "out of shape" friendly. You have to climb around and over all those rocks to get to the water. (Oh, and there is a fee per person, if there's someone on duty). Now the pros- it is seriously off the beaten path, which means there's parking and very few people. Secondly, the water is clear and beautiful as are the views. It is near a marina, so boaters give nice waves every so often. Lastly, I loved sitting in my float just listening to the water hit the rocky shore. Very peaceful. I enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. Let me know if you go- enjoy!

And ended up at stair pathway 1. 1 is the easiest, But it still was hard. I got here around 10:30am. It was cloudy and actually sprinkled a little, but this is Texas, that sun came out and shone down on my bare butt! Yup. 55 year old Birthday suit, no shame. Found a spot that was level enough. Got out my beach blanket. And chilled. Had my music and head phones, lots of Kangen drinking water. Just enjoyed Mother Nature, the water, the view, parasailing way out in the distance. You can see the Mansfield damn. Which I've never seen from this side before. Was pretty cool. There are big orange buoys out in the distance. Water was wicked choppy. I didn't swim out too far. I'm a strong swimmer, but I don't need to risk it. I did wear water shoes when I went in the water. The rocks are slippery and it was hard for me to get out. With the waves knocking me down, the rocks being slippery even with shoes on, I actually had to be rescued by a guy that was laying out near me. I'm sure he must have said, should I help or not, cause, we're nude and being respectful. But he did help and that was very nice of him. I was laughing the whole time and thanking him. I mean, seriously Shannon! Haha Later "he" went in the water and invited me to join him. Which he also offered to help me out too. We both laughed. Had a great time. Talked with each other. Got a little more busy with beach goers around noonish. But we were the only ones in the water. The water was absolutely gorgeous. Was the perfect temp! Some people have beach tents. A saw a hammock. Umbrellas. Coolers. So people get right into it. I'll try to be better prepared next time. But my point is, it's a nude optional beach, and yes people keep to themselves. No one is really walking up to you and talking about the weather. I will say watch out for those little ants. My blanket wasn't long enough when I laid out, and I got ant bites on my toes. So mental note, bigger blanket. Of course you can't take pictures of people. And people are very respectful of your privacy and private parts. No one is just there goking at you. Was a great 3 hours. Totally come here again. But better prepared. Honestly I didn't think I'd be there that long. But I was having the best time being free.
