When I find myself craving Colombian food but am not willing to drive all the way to East Austin for my fix, this is the most practical local option. Plates are SMALL for the price, but taste pretty good! I am especially a fan of their bandeja paisa (just wish the egg wasn't so overdone) and batidos. A third of the restaurant's dining room space is a specialty mini market, too! Takeout is ready fairly quickly, normally within 10-12 minutes of placing the phone order.

    Plantain Soup...soooooo good!

Nice place, great food and great customer service! My daughter had been wanting to take me to this place when I visited from Dallas and we finally got the chance to go. It did not disappoint. She got the job Plantain soup and I got the Milanesa. We highly recommend!

    Sancocho de Gallina

Came here during lunch hour and it was great. The waitress was friendly and very attentive to us and all the other tables. Mind you, she was the only one serving tables at that time so kudos to her. I got sancocho de gallina, chicken and beef empanadas, deditos de queso and a maracuyá with water drink. Everything (for me) was delicious, including their sauces. I regret not trying their bakery items but hopefully next time. The inside is a reasonable size for the amount of volume they received during lunch time. Hope this review finds you to be helpful.

As many times as I have passed by this location, I never stopped in until this evening when looking for some late night eats with Thing Two. Well..... Dale! Ceviche de Camarón- Ceviche is a popular dish in almost all Latin America, from Mexico to Argentina. Of course, each country varies the recipe a bit, but keeps the same concept (made from raw fish, shellfish, and lemon). This Colombian style shrimp ceviche is fresh, full of citrus flavor, and onions. The Yucca croquettas that accompanied this ceviche were crunchy on the outside, but smooth and firm on the inside. Sancocho de Gallina- Sancocho de Pollo o Gallina es un plato popular en Colombia. It's a hearty and filling chicken soup made with potatoes, plantain, corn, yuca, herbs and chicken or hen. This one pot meal is delicious served with avocado on the side. The dish served here was made with hen and is a warming and soothing soup that is hearty and satisfying. #supportlocal

My friend and I wanted to try something new and decided on Colombian cuisine. We were not disappointed! The empanadas are reason alone to come here! They are hot and crispy. My friend and I ordered both the chicken and beef empanadas. The menu has very authentic dishes, including arepas and fried fish. I'm looking forward to trying other items soon. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. They will make sure you are enjoying your food and your experience. Inside the restaurant is a "mini-mart" with Colombian snacks and frozen goods. Definitely go and give their food a try!

Super delicious food! I asked for a recommendation from the server as I am a Colombian food noob, and she recommended the bistec a caballo. It was delicious! This is a great little spot with really good food.

Came here for my grandmas bday! We were seated right away, service is a bit slow but thats okay bc it's a smaller family type of business. We ordered the arepa sandwich and it was sooo good !! Actually very filling too! The chocoflan was also divine. Yummmm. We also got empanadas which I didn't get a pic of because we ate them quick but they were also really good. Overall a good time here and I'd come to eat again if I want some Colombian food !

Part of the main location in Round Rock, this one is fairly new and is just building up the menu. Still, has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. I wanted to try the ceviche Colombian-style... Definitely very Colombian style with the "salsa rosada" which goes great with tostones and yuca. Super tasty! However, I think the chicharron ceviche might go better with the sauce. Have to try and see. Always closing the meal with a coffee to see if they make it the right way, and yes, it was made properly. They have Oma coffee which is well known in Colombia and the taste is unbelievable. I'm glad they're opening up new places and bringing Colombian food to this part of Texas. There's so many misconceptions when it comes to south American flavors because with all due respect, it's not like "Mexican food" for the rest of the continent. I would like to see these locations bringing some more authentic dishes as it the case in Houston and perhaps including more bakery items. Kuddos to this business por opening up the second location. Best of luck! And I will be back for more, especially that coffee.

Pros: -Super cute interior and welcoming outside patio with vibrant art. -Nice parking lot and heart-shaped bike stands -Good Wi-Fi Neutral: -The language barrier is pretty rough. Almost every word I said was misinterpreted - which I can't really knock a place for, but my order came out incorrect. -Not much A/C circulating inside. It's not uncomfortable per say, but your face does get sweaty inside. Cons: -The staff do have a very "can't be bothered" attitude, which doesn't actually bother me too much. Maybe they would have given more attention if I spoke Spanish, lol. -I wanted to try one of the Pandebono or Pandeyuca but they were out of both :( and most of the other pastries, as it seemed. -The chicken empañadas ($6 for 2) were pretty tasty and filling, but were swimming in a puddle of grease. Overall, this spot has potential with a few tweaks, but I'm not sure I'd come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my business trips to South America, particularly eating my way through…read moreColombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and beyond. It's challenging to replicate the same experience locally, as these restaurants lack access to the fresh, local ingredients that define their unique cuisine. Casa Colombia does a good job replicating a true Colombian dining experience. Their menu is extensive with some very interesting offerings. Scanning the dining room, I noticed that their portions are huge. We started with a shrimp cocktail, an empanada, and their version of a rum - mango martini. The small option for the shrimp cocktail was bountiful and easily shared. The housemade cocktail sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The empanada was a tad dry, but their spicy salsa sauce was a great addition. Our "martini" was sweet but very satisfying on a warm afternoon. We did want to try their ceviche, but they are using tilapia as their fish. Quality Seafood is not too far away, and I'm sure that they could offer a better-tasting white fish than plain ole tilapia. We split one of their house specials, the Bandeja Paisa Tipica. This is a traditional Colombian dish, and it is a meat lover's dream served on an oversized platter. Our platter arrived with a chorizo link, beef sirloin, rice, red beans with pork, a huge fried chicharrón, an arepa, a sweet plantain, a slice of avocado (well, there's the only healthy portion), and a fried egg on top. We struggled to eat about 70% of this feast. It's going to take a few visits to the gym to work off this lunch. Dis & Dat: Parking is a breeze as they have their own parking lot. They do offer a happy hour that begins at 3 PM. A definite 4-plus star experience.

A very cool place. *…read more* * Four Points has developed multiple food court locations around the intersection of 620 and 2222. One of them is the heavily Colombian food court where Ninja Chicken is located. One Colombian group seems to own multiple food trucks in the court - even though the truck names are different and the menus are different. Cooks go back and forth between the related trucks bringing supplies. All of the relevant personnel are Colombian. If they are as good as Ninja Chicken, they are fine fine trucks. * * * How Colombian is Colombian here? a) This is a Spanish only location. The truck signs are in English and that is where the English stops. When I ordered in English, it was clear nobody was understanding me. (They were trying hard). I got the wrong thing. Fortunately the wrong thing was wonderful. (Fried cheese pastries with strawberry dip.) I was happy to have the pastries. b) There are many many Colombians here eating. I only saw one other Anglo person - a middleaged Texas lady linked to the relevant church. (More on the church later). c) ON SATURDAY AFTERNOONS, THERE IS A COLOMBIAN BAND PLAYING TROPICALE. Keep in mind that food trucks in South America often come with entertainment. Entertainment is often a guy with an electric console and a ton of loops playing whatever instruments he knows how to play with synthesized backup. That's what this guy was doing. He was good on all of his instruments. I could have listened all day. d) Some of the trucks are associated with El Camino, a Spanish language church on 620. There was a giant pavilion with El Camino signs on the pavilion. There were people wearing El Camino badges in case you wanted to have a dedicated conversation about Christianity. Most of the El Camino people were Colombians. They had an Anglo lady in reserve in case you needed to talk about Christianity in English. El Camino has a very cool slogan " The perfect church for imperfect people." That slogan is right up there on the truck. * * * Good Colombian food. Good Colombian music. Colombian families everywhere. This could have been Queens New York - the epicenter of American Colombian food. Except everything else was Texan. Check the place out. Bring your Spanish dictionary to help with the ordering.
