    Malta
    Clayton S.

Stopped by this food truck park and decided to grab some Colombian food and I'm sure glad I did! The chicken was super flavorful (ask them what they use as a marinade, it's pretty crazy!) and I got to try Malta, a refreshing drink popular in Colombia. I sampled a few other items on the appetizers menu and wasn't disappointed. This truck is a great addition to the 4 Points area and I highly recommend it!

    Picada for 2

Came here a few weekends ago and ordered the Picada (sampler platter) for 2. It was just one person working who was very friendly. Everything on the platter was absolutely delicious! The prices were fair for the portion size and even with 2 of us we still had leftovers. Our only regret was not getting more of the green sauce (I think some type of chimchurri). Will definitely be back!

Service: 4/5: our waiter did a good job at checking on the table and taking our order on time. Nothing bad to point out. Food: 4/5: The food was better than what I expected. I ordered the stuffed chicken plate and I would order it again if I went back. The salsa that comes with the chips is a bit hot but so tasty. Definitely poured that on everything. Unfortunately, we didnt order drinks so couldn't rate my experience with that. Overall good experience

It's challenging to replicate the same experience locally, as these restaurants lack access to the fresh, local ingredients that define their unique cuisine. Casa Colombia does a good job replicating a true Colombian dining experience. Their menu is extensive with some very interesting offerings. Scanning the dining room, I noticed that their portions are huge. We started with a shrimp cocktail, an empanada, and their version of a rum - mango martini. The small option for the shrimp cocktail was bountiful and easily shared. The housemade cocktail sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The empanada was a tad dry, but their spicy salsa sauce was a great addition. Our "martini" was sweet but very satisfying on a warm afternoon. We did want to try their ceviche, but they are using tilapia as their fish. Quality Seafood is not too far away, and I'm sure that they could offer a better-tasting white fish than plain ole tilapia. We split one of their house specials, the Bandeja Paisa Tipica. This is a traditional Colombian dish, and it is a meat lover's dream served on an oversized platter. Our platter arrived with a chorizo link, beef sirloin, rice, red beans with pork, a huge fried chicharrón, an arepa, a sweet plantain, a slice of avocado (well, there's the only healthy portion), and a fried egg on top. We struggled to eat about 70% of this feast. It's going to take a few visits to the gym to work off this lunch. Dis & Dat: Parking is a breeze as they have their own parking lot. They do offer a happy hour that begins at 3 PM. A definite 4-plus star experience.

Go for the food, not for the atmosphere, though everyone is friendly and definitely make you feel welcome. It's a little shop that serves as a restaurant and a shop where items from Colombia can be purchased. This is a place you will want to come to multiple times because you can only eat so much in one sitting! We had two little ones - an infant and a toddler with us, and everyone was still very happy and welcoming with us, despite our craziness. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the sancocho and the flavor was just... off. There was a weird taste in the soup that didn't remind me of sancocho... What really threw me was the chicken. It came with just one drumstick, and it was so hard and rubbery that it wasn't even edible. No flavor, no tenderness--nothing. My grandma makes this dish at home with so much love, so I was hoping for at least a little of that here, but sadly it missed the mark completely. I even tried to make it good with some lime etc and I just had to throw it away it was not what I was expecting at all. Maybe I just ordered on a bad day, but based on this dish alone, I don't think I'd order it again.

Just like the Dominican food truck, (Hac Kitchen atx), I stopped by this one to give the "new kids" a try. When we drove into the food truck area, the owner of the truck waved us down as if she saw an old friend. When we approached the truck, she greeted us with a handshake and a smile. She handed us menus and explained how the menu items were made.

The staff was very kind and I love their food truck setup. Unfortunately, the arepa did not taste authentic. If you're looking for a large yet thin taco shell, this is the place to go.
