An amazing find. In had one Tinga quesataco and one Carne Asada. Both were delicious . The flan here is top notch (don't tell my wife) and service is friendly and quick. Now I see why it has a 4.9 rating. Give it a try! read more

I don't leave reviews but this place was AWESOME!!! We got food to go at lunch time and it was a lot of food and the Torta blew my mind! I had ordered a taco too just in case but that was dinner... They fry the cheese on the outside of the tacos - tasted amazing!!! My wife got a vegetarian burrito and was super impressed!! read more

The first time I went to buenos sabores it was okay so I wanted to try it again. I will say their chicken tinga was decent. This last time I got the carne burrito and it was not good at all. The rice was bland, the meat had no flavor at all. I asked for a carne asada burrito and it was nothing close to it. Maybe I'm used to marinated carne grilled and chopped, oozing with delicious flavor, but this legit had no taste. Worst off I spent 17 dollars on a bland and tasteless burrito I ended up feeding to my cat and throwing away. I rarely eat beef and I was annoyed that I let that be my one cheat for it and that I spent so much for something that was just empty. There is no way the cost to produce that burrito was even in the 24% margin. Salsa was good though which is why it is two stars. read more

Fantastic gem in the rough. The two nicest ladies are making homemade-style food from scratch and you can really taste the difference. Highly recommend what I got (homemade horchata, al pastor quesataco, and street corn). Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. read more

I ordered food and paid 36 bucks, not even worth 20 bucks. No menu available when you get there. You just rely on owner's description. Pic does not justify what is served. Total rip off. read more

Buenos Sabores catered a rehearsal dinner for me recently. The food was delicious, and many of my guests were international and had never tasted authentic Mexican tacos before. They loved it! Marisol and staff couldn't have been easier to work with. This was a real find for me, and I will absolutely use them again for catering. read more

I saw this was a top 15 place on yelp in the country so I had to try it. It has much more than tacos but wanted to try the authentic mexican tacos. They were so friendly in explaining it as I wasnt familiar with the types of chicken but they were so tender and juicy, not dry at all. One sweet chicken and one regular with some jalapeno sauce. Had some seats nearby to enjoy outdoors vs taking back to your car. They were friendly again asking if i needed anything while eating with a smile. read more

I came to this taco truck while in the parking lot to pick up an order from a restaurant. One thing that everyone can say about yah gurl is that I always stop for a street truck. No matter where I am, even IF I already have food.. I am gonna stop and take a look to see what's what! Spicy Queso & Chips: Fun fact- It's rumored that queso was invented in 1900 by Otis Farnsworth, who opened a restaurant featuring the dish in San Antonio, Texas. This queso was outstanding. It was hot and fresh and had just the right amount of punch. #supportlocal read more

Stoped by at BS to get there Pablo chicken ( you can get it in lbs ), but they were out, so got a street corn, and mango sorbet, my son liked mango sorbet but street corn was not as I expected, it was not grilled corn with that black dots and that grilled flavor, it was more like steamed and it was drenched in too much of ranch/mayo based sauce, it was too heavy not light. Ladies in the truck are super friendly and welcoming!! read more

We tried the chicken tinga quesataco, the birria taco, corn dish and cheese quesadilla. Highlights - quesataco, the spicy but flavorful salsa that came with everything, and the cheese quesadilla. The birria taco meat was a bit dry, and the corn was a little on the sweet side for my taste - although super interesting dish. Also (and this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself) one thing to note is that the location is not great - right on the very busy 620. Avoid during weekday rush hour! read more

I got the wrong taco and the 7 dollar queso and chips was a small size not a large queso. It was like 12 dollars for a meal that should have cost 8. The chips were pre-packaged not fresh chips. I guess it was ok for a food truck. read more

This is far more than just your average taco truck. I have never been to a place that allows you to sample all of the meat before ordering. That is such a kind service and really goes above and beyond in my eyes. The lady that operates the food truck is so sweet and will turn your day around just by smiling at you! I have come back several times and every time the food is excellent. Chicken tinga, al pastor, carnitas, street corn. You cannot go wrong with anything here. read more

Great birria and super friendly staff. If you get the birria, make sure you ask for comsume. It is the best. I keep coming back!

Family friend and so helpful in deciding from their menu. I have had many tacos from Mexico, Nevada, California, Arizona and now Texas. Marisol is not just a fabulous chef she is a gracious host. They are a true team. What ever you order, you can't go wrong. We are a family of five, so we went for it! Tortas, tacos and bowls. Each made with love! One of the easiest and best ways to order the food is on line, from their website, then just pull up and they deliver! This family own business has earned their five stars by hard work and fantastic food. read more

This was a fantastic place to stop for a good lunch. The beef and chicken quesotaco was what was recommended and definitely hit the spot. I will be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic tacos. The service was great and the outdoor seating area was chill and relaxing. Two thumbs up! read more

Let me start by saying that the street corn was great. If you are looking for good street corn spot this is definitely a good place for it. Unfortunately that is where the positive side of this review ends, thus why it is one Star. To start, we ordered 2 birria tacos, a pastor quesadilla, and two order of street corn and it totaled out to $23, which isn't bad. The problem was when we got the food and only got 1 birria tacos and 1 pastor taco. I asked the ladies in the truck about this is and they tried to explain to me that the pastor taco is the quesadilla, which obviously made no sense. They looked like they were more interested in getting back to their phones than helping us fix our order. They didn't want to correct this so I ended up paying $23 for 2 tacos and 2 small orders of street corn, which isn't even $15 worth of food once you get it in your hand. The tacos were average at best with burnt tortillas. The birria was dry and didn't have much flavor. This is definitely not one of the best experiences or food trucks I've had. I'm going to be completely honest and say I'm not sure why this truck is getting so many 5 star reviews. I've had better food and better service at just about any other food truck I've ever been to. Based off the reviews I had high hopes, but this was definitely a disappointing visit. read more

There is something special about a restaurant/food truck that truly cares about the food they make and the customers they serve. We have been driving by this place since they day they opened and finally decided to give it a shot for lunch. When you walk up, you are greeted by the owner/chef and another gentlemen with an incredible smile and an eagerness to serve. As someone who has a tough time picking items on a menu because everything looks great, this place was perfect. They instantly offered to explain the menu and even offer SAMPLES of every item. We ended up getting the carnitas bowl and carnitas torta. This is not your typical torta (at least not like one I have had before), but oh my. It was jaw dropping good. So much flavor that it was nearly impossible to drop. To finish it off, we tried the mango ice cream and I think I might go back just for a scoop of that. We will definitely be back, partially because the al pastor sample was also incredible, but also because they have a quesotaco! Awesome spot. read more

I had this food truck on my list for quite awhile, but had not been in the area for a bit. Finally, last week, I was coming home from a visit to Lakeway and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The best item I tried was the really delicious Poblano Chicken Bowl! I also ordered a small Chips and spicy queso, Poblano Chicken Quesataco, a Quesadilla & Chicken Tinga Taco. It was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday and there was no one there, so service was prompt and friendly. I look forward to a return visit! read more

WOW! I drive by this wonderful food truck all the time, but have never stopped until today. First of all, the owner is the most humble, nicest lady you'll ever meet. I told her that I had never been here before and needed help ordering. She gave a detail description of what was in the bowl. That it was rice with jalapeños and chips, I chose the poblano chicken. I also got a taco. Which was a wonderful street taco, that came with 2 corn tortillas. Chips came with the bowl too, and they were homemade. Very fresh, and very much like an authentic restaurant. This food truck amazed me totally. Superb food, and wonderful personality from the owner. They do offer camping type chairs to sit in and I do believe there are picnic tables as well. Or bring a blanket and find a spot on the lawn. read more

I haven't explored much taco spots in Austin yet, but THIS IS MY FAVORITE TACO SPOT SO FAR!! The service was incredible, they were so nice, and took the time to explain to us the different meats they had. On top of that, they gave me and my boyfriend a sample of EACH of the meats. My favorites were the Al Pastor and Poblano Chicken, which we ended up getting 3 each. It was so tasty!! The horchata was delicious and so were the chips and queso. Definitely 100% will be coming back soon! read more

Amazing. If you're looking for quick and courteous service with authenticity, this is it. Quesabirria tacos were insane, got a side of consommé on the side as well and wow. This food is amazing! I ordered the queso, chicken tinga quesataco, street corn and horchata. The queso is the best I've had in Austin. The chicken was so flavorful. I've tried several different places for street corn and this is definitely the best. And, I wish I got the large horchata. Don't make my mistake and get the small one. It's so good you'll wish you had the large. I've tried many different places for Mexican food and won't order from them again. Buenos Sabores is someplace I will be getting food again from. Over and over again. read more

Fantastic Carne Asada burrito! My wife really liked her vegetarian tacos also. We have been looking for a place like this. We'll be back!

The staff was very nice! But the veggie food fell short for me. I got their torta and taco both just had a lot of corn, cheese and sour cream in it but it had zero flavor. We didn't end up finishing the food because it just wasn't worth the calories. They seem popular though so maybe their meat dishes are better, but we prob won't try again unless they add some better veggie dishes. read more

The best tacos I've had in quite some time. I came across them while searching for tacos on Yelp and have been to this location more times than I can count on one hand in the past few weeks. The owners are amazing, so kind, down to earth, and they share samples before purchasing. My goto is the chicken tinga bowl or one of the quesotacos! You seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. Best part is, you don't feel like a bloated mess after eating here! read more

Super fast delivery from here, ordered the Tinga Taco and Al Pastor Bowl. Tinga Taco was delicious with its seasonings and tender chicken. I devoured this one quickly while adding their green sauce to it! Note that the green sauce has more heat than the red in case you are wondering. The Al Pastor bowl is everything you'd hope for. The tortilla chips are fresh made that came with it and had an awesome crunch for that reason. Savory and sweet, the pork was cooked to perfection. The blend of everything that comes with this bowl along with their red sauce was just so good! Don't miss this place! read more

Best tacos and service ever!! Absolutely love this place, and the owner is absolutely so sweet! The Al pastor tacos are so good, and if you like spicy salsa to go with it- they have it too! The spicy queso and the poblano chicken bowl are ON POINT. Austin is competitive- there's a great taco bowl around every corner. But what makes Buenos Sabores stand out (in my humble opinion) is the flavor profile. I don't know if anyone else is this picky, but I feel like nothing is worse when part of a dish isn't seasoned to compliment the rest of the dish (aka no one bothered to season the rice base of the dish.) What impresses me the most is that I can tell this rice was as thoughtfully prepared as the meat was... meaning it was seasoned perfectly to compliment the meat. The chips are also yum too. I don't often find a "spicy" version of queso on the menu, either. read more

Wow. So, I was throwing a party, and wanted to get some taco fixings for a crowd of 20 that ended up being 60! Anyhow, I googled around and found Buenos Sabores. Amazingly, I did everything online to get the order going, exchanged terrific emails with the owners and then came party day. I picked up pounds of carnitas and poblano chicken. Marisol then asked me, how come so few tortillas? So, I didn't have a good answer, like these days, you never know with people and tortillas. I had her throw in a dozen more for good measure. How's the food? Unreal. So good. Your party guests will cheer! And I have some advice for you. When Marisol asks about tortillas, do not hold back! My guests polished off 50 of her delicious tortillas (both in corn and flour), and then we busted out a lame package of heb tortillas, and they were gone too! The carnitas were just so flavorful, moist and perfect. The poblano chicken was so special, chicken, corn, chiles... the combo... if only there were leftovers!!! Look, you have spring parties, Easter, graduations, mother's day, etc. on the horizon. Get your order in! You will never forget this one! Little trailer, big flavor, and quality to the 5th star! read more
