My only wish is to have the turkey gobbler all year around. It's the only thing other restaurants do not offer.

I usually don't do this sort of thing, but I've had so many bad experiences here. I'm a big Wendy's…read moreguy. I go to Wendy's all over the place and this is the only one where I have this problem. They mess up my order almost every time. I'm talking 90% of the time. It's not a crazy order, just a triple baconator combo. I'm 180 lbs I swear I just don't have time to eat at work. Good news is they finally did it; they got my order right. The problem is they defaulted to charging me for a large combo. My thing is why can't they just ask if I "want that medium or large" like literally every other fast food burger joint? You might wonder "well why didn't you clarify you wanted a medium combo?" Well I didn't really get the chance potential Yelp review reader. I get it's fast food, they gotta keep it moving, but I ask for a diet coke. She says "we're out of diet coke". I'm like "oh can I get a coke zer-". She cuts me off. "We're all out of diet soda." She did offer me an "all-natural" lemonade so that's cool. So I told her what drink I wanted and she said "15 blah blah blah at the next window". No chance to clarify anything. I get to the next window. "Hi that'll be 15 blah blah blah." No chance to say hi back. She gives me my food and says "have a nice night" and shuts the window before I can say anything back. So yeah it probably sounds dumb but I work 12 hour days and I'd just gotten back from the gym and I'm tired and I just want a medium triple baconator meal. 2 stars cause they actually gave me what I ordered this time but also 2 stars for bad customer service, charging me for a large without asking, and for getting my order wrong most of the time.

I did order a bagel but did ask for a cup for hot water, which she gave me. In fact I just stopped by today after work and was given a cup (I am a Sip Club member though). Place was pretty packed. Sat at a table for 4 but I saw some guys were leaving that was in the corner so I gathered my items and started coming over. The one guy that I thought was leaving started staring at me and saying weird stuff (I didn't say one word!) After I started recording him he actually went to a manager. I told her that he was harassing me but she didn't seem to believe it! Um the video I took proves otherwise! He left (thank God) and a guy comes in frequently (he lives nearby) and always just walks back and forth for a long time. I know he's handicapped and I'm not saying he shouldn't come in but he does it all the time and people are eating nearby and I see it bothers them. And, while I didn't order anything today, the recent food purchases here is lacking ~ with size and taste! Why pay $9 for a bowl of soup? And the "reward" for what - 7 purchases you received a $1 off their choice of products! Wow I don't call it a reward. And I do understand they get very busy but someone should have been out there cleaning (I did see a few of the employees just standing there talking) while there's platters/bowls on the table, crumbs, napkins on the ground, the tubs full! Not a good way to keep customers!

Well as of recently we both have seen it shared a bit and decided to try it out. We both got the pan con chicharron sandwich . I ordered plantains as a side and he had fries - it was a $4 add on for a side which you save $2.50 each by adding it to the sandwich. The size of the sides are probably both worth the $6.50 on their own. The fries were your basic fries - probably frozen but good. The plain twins were fried nicely and had good flavor - I would have loved a dipping sauce with them. Now since the place is known for their chicken I wanted to try something with chicken. Well they had empanadas (not sure if this is always on the menu) and you could get 3 for $12 with a sauce. We did each of the 3 flavors they had available: Huachana Empanada (this is the house made Salchicha which is a Peruvian sausage w/ eggs), ham & cheese , and the chicken . The sauce I picked to go with them was their signature sauce - the aji pollo. The sauce I have never tasted anything like it - definitely interesting. The chicken empanada was very plain. The chicken definitely did have a unique flavor but was a little dry in the empanada - it was apparently cooked with the same sauce. The ham and cheese was my favorite - I loved the cooper sharp with the ham. The sausage also had a great spice! As for the sandwich the chicharron was cooked so well paired with the sweet potato and pickled onions it gave it a nice balance of sweet and salty as well as different textured bites. I will say overall that most of the items on the menu were a tad dry and could use a sauce or something - however overall the flavor was great. Everything came to $40 which wasn't bad. The restaurant was super clean inside, they had a few tables but we got takeout. It also looked like they served coffee and a few other things. Their online order menu definitely has more items listed than the regular menu. I definitely do want to go back and try the rotisserie chicken on its own with some other sides! A very filling meal though if you're looking for that !

It's tender, well-seasoned, and tastes like someone actually cared about how it was made. If you've never been, don't overthink it. Start with a half chicken and two sides (good for 2-3 people). I suggest one rice-based side and one other. The portions are more substantial than you'd expect. Take it home, build yourself a slop bowl, and top it with the sauce you selected. You'll end up with a meal that's more filling and roughly half the price of two Chipotle burrito bowls. They also offer roast beef and pork options in the sandwich or appetizer section of the menu, which are solid alternatives if you're not into dealing with chicken on the bone or don't feel like deboning. This is primarily a takeout spot, so don't expect bathrooms or fountain soda, though there are a few places to sit if you want to eat there. If you're on a protein kick or just want something different (without getting too adventurous), Dan Hector is absolutely worth trying.
