I ordered a Turkey and Provolone salad. It had a good helping of meat and cheese. It came with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and pickles. It was very fresh, both meat and cheese were sliced in front of me. Staff were very friendly and did everything to give you what you wanted. They seemed that they enjoyed their job. I ordered a #13 The Original Italian. The bread was stale and very hard. It also didn't have any flavor. I ordered but did not did not get any pepperoni, cappacuolo, and onions. I think the sandwhich was made like this without these ingredients because I used reward points to pay for the sandwhich and not money. I will tell you, ever since Jersey Mike's Corporation was sold for $Billions a couple of years ago, the quality and size of the food has gone completely disappeared. Jersey Mikes locations have always been clean and reliable. I'm shocked by this location's lack of cleanliness. Looks like the register is covered in grime. The iPad to pt hasn't been wiped down in days. Various surfaces behind the counter are messy and don't look cleaned. The surfaces of other cabinets and such behind the service line are dirty and haven't been cleaned. The kids working the counter are wonderful young men though. Very kind. read more

This location must be trying to go out of business, or, the customers that visit certainly haven't had a sub from another Jersey Mike's. Stale bread. Portion size of meat are not brand standard. What this shop makes aren't subs, they are made like PA hoagies. Unfortunately, I've had more than one bad experience with this store. It's 3 in a row. I only returned because my kids like something on the menu. Wont be back. Note to the owner: don't serve stale bread. Don't skimp on the portions and be sure to teach your employees to make a sub. This is the best sub shop chain ever and also the best location. The manager and crew on staff were the most friendly people you could ask for. They engaged me in conversation and found out they had multiple football players from the local school working which was very cool. He was able to talk sports with me as he was slicing my sandwich and made me feel like more than just another customer. They all seemed happy to be there and help. Do Not work for these owners!! No PTO, Vacation Time, Benefits of any kind. Poor leadership, High turn over rate. Owner and Manger do not care about anything but money. Even when store is doing well, the concern is money. Store will not close in storms and owners do not care about safety of employees. Food is sub-par at best. I may or may not have gone here two days in a row and I'm not mad about it. Jersey Mike's opened Wednesday the 8th and on Thursday was my first time there and it was poppin'. There was a lot of people in line, a lot of people waiting - overall a good turnout. There was a lot of staff as people were being trained and people were there for the opening. I ordered the original Italian with mayo and no tomato and it was such a great sandwich ! The bread was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor and the meat was sliced perfectly. I love that it's sliced for each individual sandwich so you know you're always getting fresh meat. They put the perfect amount of toppings and dressings and overall it was a super balanced sandwich that really was super tasty. I went in again today and thought I would try the hot sandwich. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, which also was pretty flavorful. I will say that their subs are the real star of the show because the Italian was much better. It was packed more and just had a better flavor overall. I split this sandwich with my brother and had half of his Italian. He ordered his the mikes way, which to clarify is onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices and juice (red wine vinegar and oil) - this was pretty tasty and the guy dressing our sub did it so skillfully. The whole team does a great job at what they're doing - they're all fast and efficient and friendly ! Stop by Jersey Mike's on Friday at 1 PM, I was buying two sandwiches to eat Saturday late afternoon, I requested that they put wax paper on the bread and then put the meat on the wax paper so the bread doesn't get soggy, the man behind the counter looked at me like I had two heads and he couldn't understand what I was talking about, he even said I don't know what you mean about the wax paper, it's a very common practice if a sandwich is going to be eaten later you do that so the bread doesn't get soggy, he ignored me and that's fine, I went home and did it myself, other places have done that for me in the past, it's not much to ask for. not much for customer service at this place read more

Leaving aside a "sub" shop locating in Hoagie land, there is a lot to like about the new Jersey Mike's sandwich shop in the Cross Keys shopping center. To begin with, the quality of the meat is very good. Many of the meats are made from organic pigs who have not been exposed to antibiotics. Second, all the meat is cut fresh for the sandwich right in front of you. Third, the quality of the oil and red wine vinegar is top-notch. Fourth, they have a spicy pepper spread if you want to bring the heat. Finally, while the bread is pedestrian the rosemary and parmesan rolls are a unique combination. In addition to the high-quality ingredients, the store offers convenience. The process of ordering is streamlined, and the store also offers online ordering and works with several delivery services. The biggest downside is value. A "regular" sized sandwich is about six inches long and costs 9 dollars. Add a drink and chips and your total approaches 15.00. That is not a price point for everyday lunch. The sandwich I ordered, the number 13, the original Italian was extremely flavorful. The fresh-cut cold curs, the vinegar, and toppings were very good. The Rosemary married well with all the ingredients. Excellent if not over-priced sandwich. The second time I went I had the number 7, turkey and provolone with the same toppings, lettuce, tomato,onion, oil, vinegar, and spices on the rosemary Parmesan bread. Again the rosemary along with the vinegar really makes the sandwich pop. The turkey breast was nice and moist. A very good sandwich if you do not want to have any pig on your sandwich.
