This is my first time coming here. Portions are extremely good, real bang for your buck. Ordered small fries, looked like I had a large! Looked to the receipt, yep it was a large. Ordered two slices of pizza cause I wasn't sure how big the slices would be--worst case scenario have it for lunch tomorrow--and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are also huge! My total came out to be a little over $5. Service was extremely efficient and friendly--only two workers, and both were incredibly professional and quick. I dined in and just watched the open kitchen. I'm a people watcher. I've also worked food service before. To say that I was impressed by the efficiency would be an understatement. I was not the only customer there, and despite having the dinner rush rolling--and calling--in, they kept it together incredibly well. They helped each other and communicated respectfully, which if you're wondering why I'm noting that, let's just say that isn't always the case. They also divided their tasks to get everything done quite quickly, with the speed and grace of several year veterans, as well as the respect and dignity in their regard for each other and their customers with the love of their community. We've recently started ordering Sal's for each pizza night...we love it! First, the salads are amazing. So far we've tried to taco, chicken finger, and cobb salad and all have been great! We ordered teriyaki flavored wings last time as well...and very yummy! They had a nice crunchy outside which is what we love. Finally...the pizza! We've now tried regular, grandma, and deep dish styles. Our favorite is grandma for sure, but the others have still been good! We have lots of allergy constraints at our house and they have been great with listening to our order and editing as needed. We'll definitely be ordering again...probably this weekend :) read more

I just ordered from them. I ordered wing zing that are buffalo wings fried doesn't say that on the menu. Couldn't eat them the super fries say that they have cheddar and mozzarella cheese but it's a cheddar sauce not cheese which is slimy and gross to me. This is a good all around pizza shop. I have had pizza, sandwiches, and calzones from here and all have been good. This is a solid place to go if you want food. The people have always been nice when I have gone in and talked to me while I waited. I called for a pickup for pizza and wings. The food was overpriced. I had forgotten the menu which had the coupons. My order was $30 but the owner refused to give me the coupon for $5 off. This place is the BEST! I really don't know why anyone complains about it! The staff is always polite, friendly and accommodating. I recently called for a last minute delivery after a late-day funeral, and our pizzas (for 25 people) were at our door in 1/2 hour! Another time, I asked them to make a pizza, based on their balsamic chicken sub sandwich ingredients, and they did it, no problem! (Highly recommend!) Customized our taco pizza and it was delicious! They always HEAP the toppings on their pizzas too! We NEVER have to wait for our orders, and the counter help is ALWAYS so professional/clean-cut looking, friendly and pleasant! That makes a HUGE difference when you're picking up your food!! (There's nothing worse than being handed your food by a person who is sweating/has a sweat-rag around their neck!.. We've literally experienced that at other places) We didn't even realize Sal's was tucked back in the shopping center where it is, but am sure glad we did find it!! Once ordered an italian hoagie, which was not bad at all. Now I ordered a "green hot burger," a burger with avocado, cheese, and jalapenos. Delivery was perfectly on time. The burger itself was well-cooked and there was a decent helping of jalapenos, but the avocado was terrible. When I took a bite, I didn't taste the avocado at first and then I took off the bun to make sure it was there. I'm glad I did because what I found was a top layer of the normal green, freshish looking avocado, and a bottom layer of avocado that was completely brown. It was disgusting.
