We have been coming here for a long time and have visited multiple times, and our experiences have always been amazing. Unfortunately, this last visit was extremely disappointing. We ordered a pizza and asked for Parmesan. After we had already eaten some of the pizza with the Parmesan on it, I happened to look at the bottle and noticed there was mold all over the Parmesan inside. I immediately notified our waitress, who was extremely kind, apologetic, and handled the situation as best as she could. I want to make it very clear that I do not blame her at all, she was wonderful, and obviously it was not her fault that there was mold in the bottle. What really upset us was the response from who appeared to be the manager or owner. The waitress went over and told him what had happened, and his response was simply to wash the bottle. He was aware that we had already eaten the Parmesan and could see us sitting there, yet he never came over to apologize, acknowledge what happened, or even check on us. We had ordered additional food that came out afterward, but at that point we honestly didn't even want to eat anymore after realizing we had already consumed moldy Parmesan. Mistakes can happen, and we understand that. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern or acknowledgment from management. Considering how many great experiences we have had here in the past, we expected much more from the person who appeared to be the owner or manager, especially with something involving food safety. Been hearing how great this place was so we gave it a try. Inside the place is bright and clean and has a nice feel to it. Walked and had to wait til someone realized we were standing there to be seated. We ordered a Pepsi and an unsweetened iced tea (sent back due to the sour taste), small pizza, chicken cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms, and a ribeye cheesesteak. Steaks came out first and were piping hot and looked amazing. We started with the cheese steaks first since pizza wasn't out yet. They were delicious. The small cups of Ketchup that were brought out to us was gross and left unused. Then the pizza came. Very disappointed just by looking at especially for the price. We each took a slice and it tasted just as bad as it looked completely tasteless and soggy. Very disappointed. I asked if the crust was hand tossed and they said yes. Sorry there is now way that the crust was hand tossed. It is a premade frozen disc. Not worth it at all. Only giving 2 stars because of the cheesesteaks. read more

We recently discovered this restaurant that had been open for about 6 months and boy so I feel lucky that we did! This family friendly Artisan Italian restaurant may be called a pizza company but the menu is far from that! With everything from soup to cannoli, sandwiches to entrees, to pizza to Stromboli and way more, this rustic decorated eatery does not disappoint. The food is as visually attractive as it is super tasty! They have dine in, take out and even delivery and everything on the menu seems to be fresh made. The service is amazing with honest opinions, friendly and attentive servers and a great attention to detail. I will enjoy going back even if it is just for the staff. The place is clean, open and can cater to almost anyone. From vegetarian to straight up carnivore there is something for everyone. If its not on the menu they will still try to accommodate! Was really in the mood for some good pizza and of course we like to roam and enjoy the hunt just as much as the dining. Enter Antica, the new kid on the block in Warrington Crossing. First impressions were wonderful, the staff could not have been friendlier, or more welcoming we were seated right away in their spotless, brand new dining room (it even smelled new) the venue offered plenty of tempting choices and we decided on the Carne pizza along with an order of cheesesteak egg-rolls. The eggrolls were crisp, flavorful, and a great start the Pizza, however, was a bit of a surprise. From the description we expected a hearty meat lovers style pie, but it arrived as a white pizza with no sauce, our server, kindly double checked and confirmed that it was indeed supposed to come that way. Well, the crust was nicely done, and the toppings were fresh, the lack of sauce left it feeling a little flat. The pepperoni also was supposed to be "cup and char" but it was just regular pepperoni flat and lifeless. The combination all being less exciting than we had hoped. In the end, Antica has a lot going for it, the staff, the space, and the energy were all excellent with a few tweaks on the Pizza execution, this spot could really shine. For now it's a solid three stars from us, but we will be back to check out more menu items and see how they grow in their new home read more

We recently tried Antica Pizza Co. and left with mixed feelings. We ordered the Rustica pizza, which came with cup and char pepperoni, ricotta cheese, hot honey, fresh basil, and mozzarella. While the toppings themselves tasted fresh, the dough was a major disappointment because it had the texture and flavor of a frozen premade crust. I couldn't believe it! I only had one slice, my son's girlfriend had two, and the rest came home with us. I even asked our waiter if the dough was hand tossed or frozen premade and he assured me hand tossed. It didn't taste that way. Overall, the pizza was underwhelming which makes me question the food influencers like Two Chomps who were raving about the pizza. The pizza dough did not seem to live up to the hype. On the bright side, my boys both ordered burgers, and those were a hit. My younger son (14) got the Simple Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and American cheese, while my older son (20) went for the Whiskey Bacon Burger with applewood bacon, whiskey-infused BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, pickles, and Cooper Sharp American cheese. Both burgers were a good size, came with fries, and were devoured quickly. They both said their burgers were really good. The service was very good. Fabulous place. First, the inside was decorated so nicely. The staff is fantastic! Amazing food! The place has an incredible selection of standard and unique pizza's. My grandson opted for pepperoni. The mozzarella sticks were the best I ever had. Can we talk about the fabulous sandwiches?? We all got cheesesteaks,,,yes with Cooper Sharp. Full of meat and an incredible seeded slightly toasted roll. The table across from us were eating a chicken parm sandwich with longhots!!! Great salads, flatbreads. The person I talked to on the phone was very friendly and went over our order a few times just to make sure they got it right! It must be 10 years or more since this corner location near the Regal in Warrington has been occupied. I remember it occupying more space as Jannies Chinese restaurant. Now more compact, and outfitted with bright new floors, lighting and tables, it is in full operation. Even though new to the neighborhood, its popularity has apparently taken off. We made a reservation for four on an early Saturday night, and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The hard surfaces and numerous families in the dining room generated far more reverberation and background noise than I would have liked for an early dinner. Never-the-less, It's amazing how a cordial server with a sincere smile can add to the dining experience--and distract from the din--even when it has the potential to be slightly uncomfortable. The menu is quite large, and although they don't offer platters as most other Italian restaurant in the neighborhood do, the array of sandwiches, salads, and pizza, is more than sufficient to satisfy any appetite. I ordered the Smoked Beef Brisket-- their "famous" sliced beef brisket, served on a round brioche roll with Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce, crispy onions, pickles & cooper Sharp American. A wonderful very ample sandwich with a nice basket of fries. The taste was excellent, and the barbecue done perfectly. To my surprise, real cutlery and heavy dishware were parts of the service. No plastic basket lined with annoying soggy paper here! My dining friends ordered a Pork sandwich-- a large serving of roast pork, broccoli rabe and sharp provolone cheese on a long-seeded roll. And a gluten-free round crust pizza. The toppings offered are an endless list of goodies that were easy to satisfy even the most discriminant of dinners. The dinner was terrific, and the noise--at the end--tolerable. Stopping in for a meal before or after the theater is probably best. I do recommend their food--you' can't go wrong with it--but do consider take-out for a quieter--even more enjoyable experience at home. read more

I was pretty excited to try this place as I had heard good things. I ordered a Cheesesteak with fried onions and an order of cheese fries. The meat on the cheesesteak was ok but I have to take their word for it that they used Cooper Sharp because there was so little cheese on it it was hard to discern what type of cheese it was and the cheese on the cheesesteak fries was a white cheddar cheese sauce that was obviously put on out of a squeeze bottle and not warmed up because there was just a cold gloopy spiral of cheese just sitting on top of the fries not melts and mixing into the fries. My boyfriend and I visited Antica for the 1st time today. I am a total foodie so LOVE trying new places! He had the Ribeye Cheese Steak and I had the Long Hot Cheese Steak. BOTH were excellent!! However, the service ruined the experience. We were rushed from the time we sat down and there were plenty of open tables. Our server attempted to clear the table and take our plates away while we were still eating and chewing. It's definitely worth a shot to check out just be prepared chew quickly! On the plus side, it's BYOB, so at least you'll have a nice IPA to wash it down!! Cheers!! read more

They have a unique menu with lots of interesting items. Been coming here weekly since they opened. I appreciate that they use quality ingredients all around. The chicken cutlet here is my favorite here. I get it on their Tuscan bread. It is always crispy and never dried out. The roast pork is also excellent. Sandwiches are rather large and come with a side of fries. Overall a good value. I would try the Picasso again if they could improve the Prosciutto that they use. It was sliced too thick and dried out. Had to take it off the sandwich. Perhaps a supplier issue? Prosciutto should be thin and soft. Fix the prosciutto because the rest of that sandwich was very good. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu though. Staff is always friendly and accommodating to my requests. Very disappointed. Was asked to move to another table and I did and they compensated with giving me a dessert. I waited a long time to get my sandwich and I could tell it sat in the kitchen for awhile. Lots of very young girl servers who grouped together and a few of them was at the front desk laughing. Some were very nice. I would not recommend this around dinner time. The pizza that the table next to me had looked delicious. A little noisy since it is only 1 big room. While this won't start as a review for Antica, it is. As Steve's Prince of Steaks in Warrington opened recently, my family wanted to give it a try. We were not impressed with the food and in comparing it to Antica's there is no contest and about a 20 minute wait for the food. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband loved the Cheesesteak at Antica's he had over a month ago, and did not care for the one at Steve's last night. Needless to say, we will be looking forward to more steak sandwiches and strombolis from Antica. We do wish Steve's the best of luck though. read more

The food here was really good. The chicken Caesar salad, cheesesteak eggrolls, and arancini were all excellent. The round pizza was really good. We had the "rustica". What was lacking was their thin crust pizza, which seems to be their signature item. We had the drunken grandma pizza. It was so over baked that it was like a thick piece of dry cardboard. We told the waitress about our grandma pizza and the manager told her that they deliberately leave the thin crust pizzas in for longer than necessary. If they could fix this problem, I'd recommend their restaurant. read more
