Brisket sandwich that is finger licking good
    Mark B.

We recently discovered this restaurant that had been open for about 6 months and boy so I feel lucky that we did! This family friendly Artisan Italian restaurant may be called a pizza company but the menu is far from that! With everything from soup to cannoli, sandwiches to entrees, to pizza to Stromboli and way more, this rustic decorated eatery does not disappoint. The food is as visually attractive as it is super tasty! They have dine in, take out and even delivery and everything on the menu seems to be fresh made. The service is amazing with honest opinions, friendly and attentive servers and a great attention to detail. I will enjoy going back even if it is just for the staff. The place is clean, open and can cater to almost anyone. From vegetarian to straight up carnivore there is something for everyone. If its not on the menu they will still try to accommodate! Do yourself a favor and try the cheesesteaks! Attached are a few pictures but believe me I will be back often.

Rustica pizza - Cup and char pepperoni, ricotta cheese, hot honey, fresh basil and mozzarella

We recently tried Antica Pizza Co. and left with mixed feelings. We ordered the Rustica pizza, which came with cup and char pepperoni, ricotta cheese, hot honey, fresh basil, and mozzarella. While the toppings themselves tasted fresh, the dough was a major disappointment because it had the texture and flavor of a frozen premade crust. I couldn't believe it! I only had one slice, my son's girlfriend had two, and the rest came home with us. I even asked our waiter if the dough was hand tossed or frozen premade and he assured me hand tossed. It didn't taste that way. Overall, the pizza was underwhelming which makes me question the food influencers like Two Chomps who were raving about the pizza. The pizza dough did not seem to live up to the hype. On the bright side, my boys both ordered burgers, and those were a hit. My younger son (14) got the Simple Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and American cheese, while my older son (20) went for the Whiskey Bacon Burger with applewood bacon, whiskey-infused BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, pickles, and Cooper Sharp American cheese. Both burgers were a good size, came with fries, and were devoured quickly. They both said their burgers were really good. The service was very good. The young man we had was very attentive and responsive to us during the visit.

Got a cheesesteak, packed with delicious ribeye and cooper sharp and well worth the $15! Service was quick and I didn't have to wait long and since it's a relatively new restaurant it still feels fresh and clean inside! Highly recommended!

It must be 10 years or more since this corner location near the Regal in Warrington has been occupied. I remember it occupying more space as Jannies Chinese restaurant. Now more compact, and outfitted with bright new floors, lighting and tables, it is in full operation. Even though new to the neighborhood, its popularity has apparently taken off. We made a reservation for four on an early Saturday night, and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The hard surfaces and numerous families in the dining room generated far more reverberation and background noise than I would have liked for an early dinner. Never-the-less, It's amazing how a cordial server with a sincere smile can add to the dining experience--and distract from the din--even when it has the potential to be slightly uncomfortable. The menu is quite large, and although they don't offer platters as most other Italian restaurant in the neighborhood do, the array of sandwiches, salads, and pizza, is more than sufficient to satisfy any appetite. I ordered the Smoked Beef Brisket-- their "famous" sliced beef brisket, served on a round brioche roll with Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce, crispy onions, pickles & cooper Sharp American. A wonderful very ample sandwich with a nice basket of fries. The taste was excellent, and the barbecue done perfectly. To my surprise, real cutlery and heavy dishware were parts of the service. No plastic basket lined with annoying soggy paper here! My dining friends ordered a Pork sandwich-- a large serving of roast pork, broccoli rabe and sharp provolone cheese on a long-seeded roll. And a gluten-free round crust pizza. The toppings offered are an endless list of goodies that were easy to satisfy even the most discriminant of dinners. The dinner was terrific, and the noise--at the end--tolerable. Stopping in for a meal before or after the theater is probably best. I do recommend their food--you' can't go wrong with it--but do consider take-out for a quieter--even more enjoyable experience at home.

The food was amazing! The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. There's plenty of free parking available in the lot, which made things easy. The sandwiches are huge--definitely big enough to share between two people. We'll absolutely be back!

In a word, DELICIOUS! The staff is engaging and courteous. The vibe is casual but modern. The food is AMAZING! Fries came out hot and perfect. Appear to be hand cut. The cheesesteak was ELEVATED. Fresh quality ingredients here. The cheesecake is NYC quality. Can't wait to try the roast pork and pizza. It's all DANGEROUSLY good!

    Rabe & sausage pizza
    Damien H.

Ordered the rabe and sausage pizza. Was expecting broccoli rabe not broccoli. It was also supposed to have calabrini peppers and just had red peppers. Was disappointing the toppings were wrong. I had high hopes for this place. I will probably give them another shot but not for a while. I'm giving them 3 stars because they just opened if this place was established for 3 months or more it would be a 2 star. The crust was good and what I received was tasty. It was just not what I was ordered.

We shared a literally beautiful antipasto for an appetizer. It boasted fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant, artichokes, sweet red peppers, prosciutto, and olives. We had a good and soft loaf of bread with a yummy olive oil and balsamic dip too. Our meals were ALL tremendous! We had pasta dishes - gnocchi marsala and fettuccine with clams - EXCELLENT! I had plenty of sauce left to dip the soft bread into :) The other couple had octopus (appetizer) and seafood atop squid ink pappardelle pasta. They loved their dishes as well. Of course we didn't have room for dessert, but our chocolate wine and other wines were definitely sufficient. BYOB's are great and money saving. This place is a bit of a haul but I hope to get back in the future !

We had heard about La Voglia and decided to try it out! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't…read moretoo crowded. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is decorated nicely. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

I would say six tables at most. The decor seemed a little tired and could use some freshening. The bar area sits a step down from the entrance and seemed active. They had elk on the menu so I couldn't resist. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in my mouth with a tasty reduction over top. My wife had the seared scallops over two colors of noodles and scallions. The scallops were a touch too salty yet cooked perfectly. The dark chocolate cake was simply amazing. A must if you go. The food was quite good and they always seem to have some unique options if you like wild game. Give it a try and see what you think.

Despite this, I have never actually been here (it was previously a different restaurant). It's funny how that works. Even now it's not that far away from me. My fiancé wanted to check it out for their restaurant week. It's obvious this place has its loyal followers. We sat in the bar area and it was packed with people who clearly have been going for years. My review obviously will never taint that, but I have to be honest with what I experienced and ate. One thing I noticed was how rushed our waiter was. He was running around like crazy and we all realized he was the second bartender and also the waiter for everyone in the bar area. I do feel bad about that, I know that's how things work sometimes, but that definitely showed in his disposition. He felt rushed needing to equally attended to everyone eating and also everyone at bar. I don't fault him for that he did a good job under the circumstances, but it's a shame he was put into that position. As far as the food goes, I will admit I found myself disappointed. For my appetizer, I ordered the mushroom toast. I kid you not what came out was just the bread, they served for free at the table, lightly grilled with some messily chopped mushrooms on top. I'll be honest and say I would be embarrassed to serve that to any customer. For my main course, I had the lamb dish. It was decent but the amount of lamb compared to the massive mound of photos and greens was not enough. Plus, the dish promised a demi-glaze that was almost not present at all making whole dish eat dry. With more lamb and sauce the dish would have been pretty good. For desert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was ok, but was somewhat flavorless. The drink I ordered was good and came in a very unique martini glass that kept the drink cold. Overall, I will say I was disappointed in the food here. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, I was expecting a decent hometown restaurant meal. What I got was somewhat below that. I can't say I will never be back, but it definitely won't be anywhere near the top of my radar.

The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately.
