I ordered a penne vodka with no salad and extra bread sticks. I received ZERO bread sticks. On other occasions I received two or three bread sticks. This has happened on numerous occasions. I specifically requested extra bread and declined the salad or soup. I don't understand how this can happen so many times. Is bread more expensive than the soup or salad? Who is packing the order? Don't anyone check to see if an order is fulfilled correctly? This isn't an order on DoorDash or UberEats. It was a self pickup and it's ridiculous that for me to make multiple trips so I can get what I originally ordered. read more

Wow! Amalio's is officially our new favorite Italian spot. It's the perfect place for the whole family. The drunken chicken parm is absolutely out of this world. Honestly, I don't think I can order chicken parm anywhere else now because this set the bar so high. We also love the pizza, cheesesteaks, homemade pasta, and seafood--everything we've tried has been excellent. One thing my daughter loves is that they have a kids' chicken parm on the menu, which is hard to find and makes family dinners so much easier. The atmosphere is really nice without feeling too fancy, and it's very family-friendly, which is a huge plus. Great food, great service, and a place we'll be coming back to again and again. read more

I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and fries with Door Dash. They were both cold. The cheesesteak was soggy. I had already had chicken cheesesteak a few weeks prior with Door Dash and it was really good Last week I tried to place an order directly with the store but a recording said to order with the Slice app. I ordered their chicken alfredo for 21.95. However you had to choose the sauce for an additional $3.95. Also I got mushrooms for $1. I order garlic knots for 50 cents but they gave me a loaf of garlic bread which was burnt for an additional $5.00. My bill was over $31 and there was no chicken on the chicken alfredo. I called then to advise all these mistakes. They offered to remake it and/or adjust my bill when I came into the store again. ???? They told me they had new staff who was not sure how to enter my order. They have lots to improve upon. I don't live in that area but my son does. I won't be going back regardless. Also by the way the cheesesteak was $21.95 which is a lot for a cheesesteak. I hope they figure out their business. read more

While I don't usually get pizza, I loved the pizza from Amalio's. It was crispy, thin and had zero flop. Service was also excellent. The owner and restaurant are top notch, and I highly recommend making it a stop when you are looking for great Italian food. read more

Ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. The chicken parm was okay but the pasta that came with it was so delicious. We also ordered a pizza. I'm not a huge pizza fan but the pizza had a nice crust and wasn't too greasy which made it enjoyable to eat. read more

What a surprise from what appears to be a tiny pizza shop hidden away in what appears to be just a Weiss supermarket. Tucked in at the end of the strip is Amalio's - not just a pizza shop but Italian food that rivals any Italian restaurant I've been to. Rich, thick tomato sauce with just the right amount tang, crispy juicy cutlet topped with creamy melted mozzarella. The generous portion of parm is accompanied by homemade pasta of your choice. Probably one of the best chicken parm's I have had. Unfortunately as outstanding as the food was the service was drastically subpar. We sat invisible as we waited to put in our drink order, than more as we waited over 10 minutes to get our order taken. Sophie our server was very rushed and possibly overwhelmed but not so much that she didn't have time to sit and chat with another table. It was abundantly clear that regulars were the priority here as Sophie wasn't the only one passing us by time after time as plate after plate was served to others as we sat invisible. Finally our food arrived delivered by kitchen staff. If my rating were for the food alone no doubt Amalio's would receive a 5* review, but unfortunately the service left us feeling like an imposition rather than a welcomed guest. We are hoping this was just an unlucky fluke and will give it another try someday because food of this level deserves matching quality in service. read more

We had dinner here yesterday with another couple. First time. We'll definitely be back. The server, Nick was great! The atmosphere is open with numerous tables but not crowded. We ordered mussels as an app which we describe as tender with delicious red sauce. The other entrees were a large steak Stromboli served with a large bowl of sauce for dipping, chicken parm with choice of HOMEMADE pasta, veal parm (with a healthy veal portion) and valdastana in a white cream sauce. All of us loved our food! The bread (garlic knots and plain bread) served was warm and delicious. read more

A taste of south Philly in Warminster. Food and service were excellent. Chicken Marsala was tender and the sauce was right on the mark. The shrimp, crabmeat, mozzarella with rigatoni in a blush sauce was outstanding. Both meals came with salads and garlic knots. Ambiance is pleasant and family-oriented. Looking forward to returning! read more

The food is better than anything you're gonna get in warmister period. Pasta, pizza, sandwiches, they're all homemade, don't even look any further. But I'm coming to this review to tell you about the service, DoorDash messed things up, they (Amalio's) made it right. , They actually apologize to me because they were afraid to lose a customer for someone else's mistake. No way. Yes I know some of you will say how dare they outsource delivery to DoorDash. But that's the world we live in now. I don't begrudge them. They probably wouldn't deliver 30 minutes away if it was all in house. The best of you I can give is that if DoorDash stopped delivering their service, I would drive myself 30+ minutes to pick up food from them because they are better than anything close. read more

Food great! Place is jumping on Friday night! Be prepared for a slightly longer wait time for take out

We started our meal with the Hot Honey Pizza, which comes topped with pepperoni, hot honey, and grated reggiano. We added ricotta cheese to ours, and wow, what an incredible choice! The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect balance of crisp and chew, and the hot honey gave each bite the right amount of sweet heat. It's a must-try pizza pie! While waiting for our entrees, we were given complimentary bread knots, a nice touch, but we decided to save room for the main courses. For my entrée, I ordered the Drunken Chicken Parmigiana. When I asked about which pasta was freshest, our server went to check with the kitchen and came back to let me know it was linguine that day, an impressive level of service. The chicken cutlets were huge, and the vodka sauce was outstanding: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The fresh linguine had that tender-yet-firm texture that makes homemade pasta so special. My son ordered the Chicken Marsala with spaghetti and really enjoyed it. He said the Marsala wine sauce had great flavor, and again, the portion size was generous enough that he couldn't quite finish it. The new dining area is spacious, beautifully designed, and creates a comfortable atmosphere whether you're there for a family dinner or a casual night out. The service was excellent! Attentive without being overbearing, and our drinks were always refilled quickly. A quick tip: they do charge a small additional fee if you pay with a credit card (I believe around 3%), so I recommend bringing cash to avoid that extra charge. There's also plenty of parking, making it convenient and stress-free to visit. Overall, Amalio's Pizza & Pasta is a gem. From the warm service to the homemade pasta and innovative pizza combinations, everything feels crafted with care. If you're looking for authentic Italian comfort food in a welcoming space, this is definitely a place you'll want to visit again and again. read more

what's happened here? when they first opened amalios did a great job with food and service The last time i ordered our dinner was disappointing not cooked very well but at least it was delivered properly. I tried them again and my dinner was missing bread and salad The issue is that for delivery you have to order through their 3rd party app So there's really no direct customer service. the food i got was good but will not re order from them again. too much chance for error. and i don't want to wait weeks before i order again and get a free salad read more

Always great!!! Pizza, Italian specialty sandwiches, dinners and friendly and fast service. We love this place!!! Best in the area.

First visit and won't be the last. Great service and casual decor. We got the hot honey pizza and drunken chicken parm platters which comes with choice of soup or salad and garlic knots and breadsticks. All our food was incredible read more

My 1st time here and it did not disappoint. The veal parm I ordered was amazing and was such a large portion I took the other half home. The service and atmosphere were also very good. I definitely plan on returning in the near future. read more

There are no seats for, people to wait for their order. I ordered a chicken cheese steak. It had enough meat for 4 sandwiches. I tried to eat it, got on my kitchen floor, my chair and my rug aunt all over me. I had to change my clothes. Also it was on a seeded roll, some people cannot have seeds. I will never order this from there again. I have had their pizza and pasta and they were delicious. Live and learn. read more

We visited again but this time we tried something different. We had a cheesesteak, which comes on a seeded roll, and a small calzone. The cheesesteak sandwich was packed with meat. The calzone was good. When we got the check, we noticed we were charged 75 cents for fried onions on the cheesesteak. Fried onions should be included on a Philly Cheesesteak (wit or without). We were seated in the newly renovated section. It is beautiful. read more

I stopped here for lunch after seeing a review on Instagram. It's an unassuming place in a strip mall. But the food is awesome. I got the meatball sub. The meatballs were delicious, the sauce is light but flavorful and the roll was perfect. My daughter got the cheesesteak, which was equally as good. We got a pizza to go -- the Drunken Grandma. It's a square pizza with vodka sauce and mozzarella. (Insert chef's kiss here.) The service was great -- responsive and respectful. It is also makes its own pasta, so I want to come back for dinner. read more

Fabulous food great service wonderful ambience some of the best Italian food. I've had in a while go back there again easily.

I work in Ivyland and ordered the vodka rigatoni from Amalio's Pizza and Pasta for lunch for lunch today -- and wow. You can absolutely tell the rigatoni is homemade; it practically melts in your mouth. The vodka sauce was unbelievable -- rich, creamy, and perfectly textured, clinging to each piece of pasta. The hint of crushed tomatoes blended beautifully with the cheese and fresh parsley. Hands down one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. I will definitely be ordering again -- and next time I'll be picking it up myself! Grazie Amalio's! Angela Michetti read more

Quite good for shopping center Italian. Always like a nice byob italian spot. No complaints other than the side salad which was small and pretty generic as you can tell in picture. The drunken chicken parm was very good and very large (drunken = vodka sauce). Service was good. The included breadsticks and garlic knots were also satisfying. Overall, I will definitely be back to try the pizza. read more

Home made pasta was delicious. Service was excellent. Pricing jut right. However, no one wants to go back because the lighting is way too bright. No ambiance. Tables could use less lighting and maybe candle and flowers to warm up the atmosphere. Cute addition but lighting is terrible read more

I went to Amalios the first week they opened. It was the best pizza I had in the area since Dino's closed. Went back a couple weeks later and had a convo with the owner telling her I was torn between wanting to tell people and keeping it a hidden secret so that they weren't overwhelmed and the quality would suffer. After that visit, I have yet to have a descent pizza from them. Tonight I decided to try again. I ordered a drunken grandma pie. What I got was an over done, with hard dark brown crust and a sloppy mess. I know someone there knows how to make an amazing pizza. I wish I knew who that was and when they work. read more

Shortly after Amalio's opened a few years ago, I had a meatball parm sandwich which was absolutely delicious! The roll and cheese were really good but the meatballs were some of the best I had ever had. I went back a while later for meatballs and was disappointed. It has been quite a while since I had food from Amalio's so I decided to try a meatball parm again. The roll and cheese were good, the meatballs were just okay. read more

We have been hearing great things about this place from a few people so we decided to check it out and we are glad we did! It is a very nice , clean casual place with excellent food. The service was great , our server Bella was very nice and attentive. The chicken Parmesan was top notch , nice portion and the red sauce was fabulous. I ordered baked rigatoni but switched to the special of the day , asparagus sautéed with shallots, shrimp and crab meat in a Rosa sauce over penne. I am really glad I switched my order as I really enjoyed the dish, the crab meat really worked well with the Rosa sauce. I will definitely be looking forward to trying the baked rigatoni and lasagna in the future. Definitely want to try a Stromboli and cheesesteak on the liscios seeded roll. Definitely recommend this place and they make their own pasta. read more

Checked out Amalio's Pizza & Pasta today with my wife for a little lunch. The slices were excellent, decent size and had great flavor. They needed no seasoning. The steak had good flavor but I would have preferred a much more creamy cheese integrated through the meat and a bit more heavy handed with the amount. The roll was excellent. Could have used a tad more meat but it was definitely a great choice to stop at and for a new spot they're doing pretty well. read more

The Caesar salad and free bread at the table were fantastic. We split the grandma pie and it was also very good. Will definitely be back!

I'm definitely going to have to give an updated review when I eat in there but this is my takeout review ! My parents dined in here once and have since been getting their pizza and sandwiches to go, for my family and I. I will start by saying - their grandmom pizza is SOOO good. My family loves the grandmom style pizza - usually a square pizza, sauce pesto or fresh basil . Their version is so good! It really truly tastes fresh and I love their sauce ! The crust on it is also really good. It's definitely the only grandmom I want to eat. I also have had their meatball parm sandwich from takeout which was pretty solid - again I think because they have a very good sauce. This is the same family as the old Pizza & Pasta which we went to regularly as kids with my parents. Glad to see the family is back and putting out high quality food ! Can't wait to try dine in. read more

Called on Friday to request reservation for 7 people by front window, the owner himself told us you don't need reservations for that time. The previous week they took our reservation, so this was confusing. We arrived and seen two empty tables with reserved reservations placards on table. THIS annoyed us, but we took seats where they placed us. Then two of us ordered Lasagna for dinner, they were out. Waitress told us he makes it by the pan and there was none prepared. The rolls they brought to the table was UN-eatable as they were hard as rocks. ON, the plus side, other meals ordered were good, service very good, but its the little things that sets you apart with customer service. Being told no reservations when obviously you still take them is one of the little things that drives some customers away and serving bread that you cannot eat. There are many other places to eat in this area, so we checking out other establishments. read more

Sat down and waited for 7 min no one came to serve us or even bring menus over, we get up to leave and the staff says have a good one, not begging you to run us down but it was really odd and not polite. Shame cause my bf and I thought it looked good read more

This is a follow up from my second visit. It was just as good as the first time. I had a large delicious Caesar Salad with chicken. I took half of it home. A visit would not be a visit without a slice of the pizza. I just love their pizza. I am watching my calories right now or I would have ordered a medium size pizza for myself. Same waitress, same very good service. Plenty of parking. Next to Weiss Supermarket. Take credit cards. Good pricing. Comfortable setting. Recommend. read more

Wanted to love this place. Our waitress was lovely. The garlic knots were amazing. But didn't enjoy anything else.

The BEST! I won't go anywhere else for pizza and Italian ! I've been spreading the word! Love this place!

The best cheesesteak in the area! Great quality meat and roll. Don't waste your time driving to Steve's Prince of Steaks, or even Pats in center city Philly.
