The cheesesteak was awesome. The seeded roll was A+ and combo of cheese and meat was a great ratio and very tasty. I really liked it and will go back for the cheesesteak. We each ate a slice of pizza and took the rest home as leftovers. The pizza was good. I'm sure it says it on the menu, but I don't realize it was pizza with the sauce on top. I finally had a chance to try Philomena Santucci's square pizza & can pronounce it delicioso! Magnifico! Bella! Mmmm mmmmm good! I ordered the 9" square pie which is cut into 4 squares. You can add toppings on half or whole pie. I ordered sweet sausage & ricotta cheese on 1/2 & pepperoni on the other half. But, all 3 ingredients were added to the whole pie, with the toppings so heavy that it was virtually impossible to pick up a slice without losing most of the toppings. But I didn't let that stop me! Grabbed a knife & fork & dug in. This was delicious, with large pieces of homemade sweet sausage & light, creamy, rich ricotta cheese along side a marvelous handful of perfectly spiced pepperoni. And, the crust was perfectly crispy on the four sides & great by itself. I could only eat 2 of the squares, and the pizza was marvelous reheated in the toaster oven the next day. I would like to try their upside down pie with sauce on top of the cheese (why?...I don't know...why not?) as well as their plain pie, since I already know that their ingredients are first rate. Good service. Okay Mega Fries some if the bacon was raw (severely under cooked), been coming for years and first time I've questioned. Bill came and an item marked one price on menu (fries) were 25 more on receipt. Telling me you have increased ur pricing is fine it's not about the 2, .50 for sauce 3% processing fee and 30 percent tip I leave. But for a personal pizza and mega fries 41 dollars. Please update menus and do not tell me it's in the fine print that management can just tell me prices have changed and then to say a small sign on door. Non existent. Last Monday my husband and I went to Santucci's and for the first time we departed from the usual - which is hard to do. Our usual, and their specialty, is their delish square pizza with cheese under the sauce, for those who do not know. My husband had Chicken Parmagiana and I had a personal Margarita pizza. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and hot. We had excellent service from our server, who was the only server that evening. Their restaurant is casual, and great for any meal or just a snack, for dine in or take out. They can also accommodate a large party easily along with other diners. The crust was hard but not tooth-cracking hard like it is at other Santucci's locations. But the cheese was just as flavorless. Have passed by this place a dozen or so times, was very happy to decide to give it a try. Very nice place with lots of parking, gives off a family vibe too. Huge inside, open. One area was closed off but didn't matter there was still so much room. We were seated in a booth. Decided to order fried ravioli and a medium pizza. Service was fast and friendly. Emily was great. Food came out fast and piping hot. Those fried ravioli were so good. Sauce was delicious, flavorful. I could go for another order just talking about it. Anyways, the pizza was very good my only complaint is that I wish we had asked for it to be a little more well done. Gotta have a crisper bottom but all in all so good. I know better for next time. The meatball-pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious. It came out piping hot. The meatballs were very tasty and the sauce has a sweet and tangy flavor. Our server, Kyle, was exceptional. He was the only one working the lunch rush on a Friday. He had eight tables and also worked the counter and he never missed a beat. His hard working attitude made it an even more pleasant experience. On Wednesday nights they have a special for wings (75cents per wing) we opted for a few hot wings and a few garlic Parm. Always ask for my wings well done when I order them and santuccis made these wings pretty crunchy. The hot sauce wasn't very spicy but had a good flavor. The garlic Parm wings had Parm cheese shavings on top of the wings. The garlic wasn't overpowering. Overall both wings were good but I wouldn't say they were My all time favorite. For dinner we ordered the regular pizza, chicken Parm platter and a side of garlic Parm French fries. The pizza was delicious, it always is consistently the same every time I eat at Santuccis and reminds me of childhood when we would order from our local Santuccis. The chicken Parm platter was HUGE. You could choose your choice of pasta to accompany the chicken Parm. We opted for spaghetti. The chicken Parm was tasty. The sauce for the chicken parm was a lot darker then the pizza sauce and had a different flavor. Would have preferred the sauce on the pizza rather then the sauce they served it with. Our family is pleased to offer the highest recommendation to this fine restaurant. We recently hosted a funeral luncheon for family and friends. From our first encounter with the staff, every thing was professional, smooth and comfortable. No pressure. We selected a buffet menu and had a great variety to offer our guests. The server was pleasant and did a wonderful job, quickly serving 50 hungry people. They offer items for children and gluten free options also. Santucci's is a BYOB. They kept the beverage station fully stocked with soda, coffee, waters, ice, etc. A cookie and brownie tray is all we needed to complete a delicious, happy and sad event. My dad is a big Santuccis fan and so we have been coming here since it opened for their original square pie. I will start off by saying that it's not the type of pizza I prefer so if you like the classic Santuccis pie, take my review with a grain of salt. The pizza is definitely fresh but in my opinion is overpriced - not so much the plain but the speciality pizza. We finally decided to try something other than the plain pie and got a chicken park pizza. The chicken was very tasty but there was hardly any chicken and the pie was $23 for a large. It's $7 more for maybe a handful of chicken and extra cheese, a little steep for me. Their food is always fresh although I don't love their sauce, it's a little sour for me. We also tried the cheesesteak wrap last night and it got rave reviews from my mom and brother so we will try their steaks against later. Usually when my dad gets a pie I order a meatball or some sandwich but their meatballs are pretty sub par, they taste premade and not fresh. Again, I'm not the biggest Santuccis fan so take my review with a grain of salt, my dad on the other hand LOVES it and will constantly get us to order from here as it's his favorite. The restaurant is very clean and pretty and the staff is very nice! There is a surcharge on credit cards. And as of Dec 2021 they are doing indoor seating! Arrived about 6pm on Sunday, only to be told that it would be at least a 35 minute wait to cook food, but then told that they were out of large pizzas and only had personal size available. How can a pizza restaurant "run out of pizza?" Here's one suggestion, prepare to sell more large pizza's and less personal-size pizza. They didn't even offer to discount the personal-size pizzas to cover the large-sized. I'm sure the family matriarch wouldn't stand for this given the history of the business. I feel hard pressed to return to this location, only to be told that they can't make pizza. After reading some of the reviews, I guess I am glad I didn't get any food. When I moved out East from Chicago, I'd pretty much given up on finding a decent pie and resigned myself to NYC style slices. Don't get me wrong, slices are decent and work in a pinch, but I am used to a deep dish, flavor filled pie with a good caramelized crust. I had my favorites in Chicago, but this review isn't about that, so I digress. About four months ago, my wife heard about this place and asked if I'd be interested in giving it a go. It took a few weeks to commit, but I'm glad I did. My wife and kids prefer the cheese, which looks decent, but I haven't personally tried it. What I have had and what I highly recommend is the personal meat lovers pizza. Please note that this pizza is not for those with weak hearts and if you have an ulcer, you might want to make sure your meds are on point. Let's start with the crust. Crisp on the edges and soft in the center.. fully cooked and caramelized on the outside. This is covered in sauce which is a perfect balance of savory and sweet.. you got the cheese and spices and whatnot, but then let's talk meat.. pepperoni, bacon, sausage.. delicious and again perfectly balanced. This pizza is the best I've had in the area, hell... beats pizza in a whole lot of other areas as well. Ugh this a tough one to write. I love Santucci's and have been eating here since I was a kid. We stopped by Wednesday night for a quick dinner before costco. We arrived and it was dead like one other table. We ordered a pizza, fries and cheesesteak hoagie. The Pizza and fries were spot on like normal. The cheesesteak while good had something in it. It was sharp and hurt. I couldn't really figure out what it was after spitting it out, I wrapped it in a napkin. The server took it back to the back to the chef and he thinks it was a piece of a bone. Really? WTH! We received our check and nothing. No discount, no free dessert, nothing. I've been eating Satucci's pizza since 1971. I would always take a ride with my Dad when Santucci's was in the Juniata section of Philly and to this day we still go there or we order take out from the Warminster location. We still love it very much even though the pies are almost half the size from what they used to be in the day but what hasn't gotten much smaller these days. What upsets me the most is the shmear of gravy that they've been putting on the pies. Come on now..... you can totally see the dough through most slices and it NEVER used to be that way. When done right, it's awesome, but if too much sauce or soggy crust, it's disappointing. The service is still always excellent! This new suburban location of a pizza classic from Philly is a welcome addition to Bucks County. It has a spacious layout and warm neutral decor. Upon entering there is a takeout window to the right and a hostess stand to the left. We received a friendly greeting and were seated immediately. The server was also friendly and attentive. The menu features starters, soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches and other Italian fare. I enjoyed the personal cheese pizza. The crust was perfectly crisped with a good ratio of cheese and sauce. The square pizza was reminiscent of deep dish pizza but with a much thinner crust. It was delicious! I tasted my husband's chicken cutlet parmigiana sandwich. The roll was great; very fresh, not too soft or too hard. The sandwich had good flavor but I found the cutlet to be a little greasy. We also shared an order of fries with Whiz. The menu states the fries are hand cut, but they tasted like regular frozen crinkle cut fries, nothing special. Looking forward to returning. The pizza is awesome! read more
