I have been occasionally visiting this place for almost 10 years. I used to have meetings nearby and always looked forward to having lunch here. They have great lunch specials and a nice selection of tasty slices to choose from. This pizza is really good and i also like their Stromboli's. I haven't really had anything besides pizza and Stromboli's here but last visit the people at the next table ordered a dinner and the salad looked very nice. I look forward to trying a dinner here sometime soon. Great spot for a quick lunch.

Found a new pizza spot around the area of where we do our errands. Tried a couple slices, lots of variety to pick from. Grabbed slice of plain and grandma. They are both delicious. Friendly staff and quick too. We'll have to hit it up again soon as they had lots of different ones I would like to try. Happy to find a decent pizza place around here.

Extremely disappointed...ordered two pies and they show up with most of the cheese and toppings off the pizza. And to mention the driver assumed my change was a tip and ran off.

Chicken BBQ Pizza. Really delicious!!!!!!!

Best cheese steak sandwich ever! Juicy, plenty of meat, cheese, & fried onions! Would definitely recommend this for dinner or lunch!

Pizza is always hot and fresh. I love their zeppolis. The bacon and racon fries are the best in the area.

Good food at reasonable prices. New owners have improved on a business that was good to begin with.

My wife heard about Steel Penny Cafe from a colleague at work who lives in Hatboro, so we decided…read moreto check it out on Thursday, February 12, 2026. We are glad we did. From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

We have been sleeping on Steel Penny!…read more Going down the list, the staff is incredible! They are all so hard working and so attentive to everything. They don't have server tunnel vision, they work as a team and it shows! The vibes are so cool here. I mean, if you're gonna open a cafe next to a scrap yard, you have to lean in to the theming. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!

It reminds me of the good ol' days when businesses/business owners knew the names of their customers. They know their customers' names! On Sunday, I was leading out a meeting in the gymnasium at Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy and needed to provide lunch. I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. We picked up 10 hot, delicious, and fresh giant pizzas for our gathering and before I knew it there were a few slices left of the plain, a few more of the pineapple, but only one of the tomato pie! The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! The group got to taste firsthand what I believe, and that is New Village Pizza is the best in town!

I live an hour away from Verona so when I heard this place was only a 15 min drive away from our hike, I knew I had to stop by. The well known Verona's did not disappoint. Unique to this pizzeria, the pizzas AND cheesesteaks are award winning. The wife and I ordered one of each. When we pulled up, this place was packed for 12PM. It hustlin and busslin! I ordered at the desk and waited maybe 25 mins (not bad at all for ordering in the spot and with the place being busy). Pizza: we ordered the "Hot Honey" at $27. We attacked this thing within 2 minutes of coming out the oven. Incredible dough with depth and texture. Perfect balance of sweet (sauce/honey) and savory (pepperonis/grated parm). Topped with fresh basil and hot honey. I wished there was more hot honey but to each their own. Elite pizza!! I highly recommend Cheesesteak ($18): we ordered it with fried onions and Cooper Sharp. Delicious bread, I'm assuming it's home made and if it's not it's definitely high quality bread. Tender ribeye steak chopped and mixed beautifully with the cheese and onions. Meaty sandwich for sure. I prefer my cheesesteaks a bit more cheesier but I was a happy camper as was my wife. All in all, this joint is pumping out top tier "pizzeria food". This will be my post hike reward anytime I'm in the area. Dare I say Verona's goes toe to toe with Angelo's Pizzeria (highly regarded pizzeria) as best in the state! 5/5
