Buffalo chicken pizza
Christa N.

Ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza for delivery. Estimated time for delivery was 45 minutes but they ended up bringing the pizza in 30. Flavor was good, not too spicy which is how I prefer it. I would have liked the crust to have been cooked just a little longer but it got nice and crispy when we reheated the leftovers in the oven. Would definitely order from them again!!

Mega fries and buffalo chicken cheesesteak

**reorder** Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was fantastic. Loaded with shredded chicken, a great buffalo sauce, very tasty ranch and plenty of cheese. I highly recommend. Very quick delivery. Pizza was 7.8/10, mega fries were 9.6/10 and the buffalo chicken cheesesteak was an 8. Definitely my new pizza spot.

NEW Shrimp Salad

This is embarrassing. I ordered the NEW Shrimp Salad. This is what I got- 3 mini pieces of shrimp on top of lettuce. Never ordering from here again. I am very disappointed.

Pizza by the slice

Good pizza but a bit overpriced. You can order by the slice or get a combo from better pricing. They have a large eating area if you choose to eat in. During this visit I tried a slice and the $10 cheesesteak, fries and drink combo and both were very good. The pizza could have been cooked a little longer though-it wasn't hot enough. I will have visit again to try one of their other slice flavors such as BBQ chicken, white veggie or etc.

The Cheesesteaks here beat out some of the best cheesesteak joints in Philly. I'm Not even joking. The portion is huge too. I can only eat 1/2 due to the amount of meat and cheese they use. It's crazy. Their pizza is also really good. A lot of different varieties to choose from (bbq chicken, buffalo chicken, chicken bacon ranch, etc...) Mozzarella fries, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks... you name it, it's all good. The only thing holding this place back from 5 stars is that they always forget something. Lol Every single Visit. It's Cool though because They always apologize and make it right. Definitely check this place out ! Grab a cheesesteak you won't regret it.

Found this place after shopping at the nearby Weis Market. They have a huge menu with a lot to select from. The first time I went with my daughter, brother and nephew and got the cheese steak special which comes with fries and a fountain drink for $9.99. The steak was filled with so much meat and the meat was literally spilling out! The steak was delicious. Me and my daughter tore it up. The fries were well done and tasted good as well and the fountain drinks were free refill which is also a plus- since I live in Philly and there's a soda tax. The second time I came with my family, I ordered the cheese steak special again since I like it so much and ordered a slice of gourmet pizza. It had spinach, ricotta cheese and tomato on it. It was really good, I especially love the taste of the crust. The crust brings me back to a childhood pizza place that since been closed down. The prices here are a little on the higher side, but it's worth it because the food is great! If you go also try the mozzarella fries, they are delicious. They packed the fries with so much cheese and the fries were still crispy not soggy. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very fast when there are lines. I think I found my new favorite pizza place.

Pretty damned impressive for an otherwise fairly dated space. I went with two favorites; hot dog (Blitzkrieg Bop Dog) and Pierogi (Let's Polka), both of which were enjoyable and very tasty. The Blitz was full of sauerkraut and spicy mustard (ketchup added at the counter). Split and grilled, its only weakness was a broken roll that wasn't quite up to the challenge of holding everything together. Still, I liked it to the last bite. The potato cheddar dough pockets were deep fried and covered in sautéed sweet onion and crisp bacon pieces. Housemade creamy onion dip really added a special effect when it interacted with everything in my mouth. Quite the oral dance party. Delicious. The list of local bands playing at High Steaks was impressive. Definitely added a great sixties feel to the joint. This place is special. Five by five all the way.

Café Carmela -- Pumpkin Pizza & More!…read more On Halloween night, I stopped by Café Carmela excited to try one of their seasonal favorites, the Pumpkin Pizza! Since the restaurant was busy (understandably so), we started with the Meatball Salad, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. It came with crisp romaine, tomato, onion, red wine vinegar, EVOO, ricotta cheese, and delicious, tender meatballs. The mix of creamy and tangy flavors worked perfectly together, a great way to kick off the meal. When I asked our waitress for a recommendation, she mentioned that Café Carmela is known for their vodka sauce, my personal favorite, so I ordered the Drunken Rigatoni. It featured San Marzano tomato, cream, Stateside vodka, basil, and Grana Padano cheese. I also added a chicken cutlet on the side (because protein goals ). The dish was excellent, the flavor was spot on, though I personally would've liked the sauce just a bit creamier. Still, I'd absolutely order it again. Then came the star of the night: the Pumpkin Pizza. If you're a fan of seasonal specials, this is a must-try! It had arugula, ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic, sage, and roasted pumpkin, all beautifully balanced. The flavor was rich, cozy, and full of fall vibes. Next time, I'd just ask for the crust a little crispier (personal preference), but the pizza itself was amazing. This pizza is only available once a year, so definitely mark your calendar for next fall because Café Carmela's Pumpkin Pizza is worth the wait.

We went to Cafe Carmela for a friend's birthday party. Although the restaurant is not really big…read moreinside, their private party room was able to hold approximately 50 people at two long tables. That left space for a table with the birthday cake, a small table for the leftover food, and a table for wine as the restaurant is byob. We started with pizza, and I especially enjoyed Mamma Leuzzi's pie with balsamic vinegar. A Caesar salad and antipasto tray were also on the food table. Served family style was Carm's parm which was good and the Drunken Rigatoni. The vodka sauce on the rigatoni was the star of the show and made this dish my personal favorite. For dessert, the tiramisu was good, but I appreciated that they also served the birthday cake. However, the coffee was lukewarm at best. The family was able to bring in balloons and decor. That, coupled with background music, added to the ambiance. Service was excellent too. Be advised that the parking here can be a challenge. We got lucky, but the restaurant lot is very small.

When I went in there was just one girl working up front. She took my order which is a pretty consolidated menu - just a few good options of pizza, steaks and chicken cutlets and a few sides. I like that it isn't so giant. I knew I wanted to try the mozzerella sticks and I was debating between a cheesesteak and a cutlet sandwich. But also was toying with the idea of a meatball- specifically because I heard they had good sauce and I wasn't trying a pizza this trip. I went with the cheesesteak which on the menu boasts ribeye and a seeded roll. I ordered cooper sharp (usually I do American, this was the first time getting cooper sharp) and onions. Let me first say the steak was chopped perfectly the sandwich was heftyyy and it was loaded with cheese - all mixed in. Very good! Super tender meat. I will say that, personally, I'm used to getting a lighter cheese steak and adding sauce so this was definitely different for me but I can recognize how good it was. I did decided to order a side of meatballs to try - this was the only thing that didn't hit for me. They weren't bad but I would have liked more flavor. They were super tender though and I could tell they were homemade just as the menu says (hand rolled with a 200 year old family recipe) and the sauce - amazing! I topped that sauce on my steak and it was an elite combo for me as I, again personal preference, like to break up the cheese a bit. Overall the steak was really good and oh my gosh the mozzerella sticks- they were huge and the breading had such great flavor! Definitely a perfect pairing with their sauce. If I come back knowing how good the mozz breading is I definitely wanna try a chicken cutlet and pizza. The food came out super fast was super fresh. Definitely a good spot and I'm sure I'll be back!
