Review for McDonald's - Doylestown, Main Street Disappointing visit today. At the first window, we asked for a receipt and were told they were out of ribbon--and had been for a while--with no effort made to replace it. We were told to try again at the next window. At the pickup window, we received two sweet teas, even though we had clearly ordered one sweet and one regular--and it was rung up correctly. It's frustrating when the staff isn't paying attention to simple details. McDonald's should ensure their equipment is maintained and that staff are trained to follow orders accurately and provide basic customer service. read more

Food is what you expect from a McDonald's. You have to order "special" like fries with no salt to get them hot. The last sandwich I got and it was SPECIAL ORDER came out in like a minute and it was cold. Service at front counter is ridiculous. They'll all so busy with drive thru that they don't even look in the direction of the counter! (Even when I'm practically shouting to help customers at the counter. And I did try to order on the kiosk. They have the option of paying on the kiosk or the counter. I was using gift cards so I put one through. It showed I still owed $1.38 so I tried to put another gift card through then it started cancelling the order! So I just take the receipts and go to the counter to reorder. As above once I got someone at the counter (obviously the manager) she had an attitude. I said I ordered a biscuit and a large coffee and register showed $5.07! I said no it's actually $3 something cause the coffee is .99 No was her answer ~ it's $2.59 and I said I ordered the deal on the kiosk since I gave the app and she kept saying it's $2.59 omg I HAVE THE APP and if I wasn't so angry I would have said LOOK AT THE FKG receipts! Got a senior coffee instead for less. Walk back to my friends but I had to go so put my biscuit in a bag and took my coffee (which wasn't hot!) Every morning between 6-6:15am we go to McDonald's for Coffee. The actual manager is excellent, she is courteous and she is always polite and friendly!!! However, when she is not here there is a boy/young man that is the assistant manager who fills in for her. He is completely opposite of her. Today, we pulled up at 6:14am and he refused to acknowledge us. This is normal for him. Sometimes he makes sign language insulting people with hearing issues since our brother is deaf he is not using proper sign and it is insulting to us. He lies to us about the time they open and he clearly does not want to be there. I get him having a bad day but every time he works this is how he treats us and it is ridiculous. I am posting a pictures. All I want is a cup of coffee. It takes 2 minutes tops to brew a pot of coffee. This person does not deserve this position at this McDonalds. Such a pity that the owners do not care that they are loosing business because this employee doesn't care!!! read more

The workers can NOT get orders correct! We order DoorDash a lot since the pandemic and we never learn. I don't think they have ever got the order perfectly. They keep changing out staff, but the hiring manager needs some training bc they hire idiots. I know you don't need an education to work here, but they get paid to do a simple job. Service and staff quality has gone way down since a few months ago. All of the staff who used to work here are gone, and the majority of new staff do not seem to even English, to the point when I ask for a cup holder I am not understood. The cashiers do not know how to count the money and one cashier even asked me what a nickle was and when I told her it is a nickle she didn't know the coins value. I rarely eat fast food but my husband wanted to stop at McDonald's. We used the drive thru. The whole process was seamless. The intercom was clear, the staff were nice and pickup was easy. In less than 5 minutes we placed the order and had the food. We ordered one of the value meals which was a pretty good deal. The food was piping hot and freshly made. The cheeseburgers were good. Since the other McDonald's has closed on my route, this is the McDonald's I have been going to lately and every time I say this will be the last! The employees EVERY time are rude as hell. I mean really rude. They all have attitudes or don't speak to you at all even when spoken to. One example is of a guy joking with another employee. He grabbed my money and gave me change not looking at me or saying on word and then just shutting window on me when I was asking a question. Several times I've had employees just holding their hand out for money without saying anything and looking angry or joking and cursing in convos with other employees. I've also sat at window with No acknowledgment once so ever for nearly 5 minutes. My orders have been wrong numerous times and when I go back around to have it fixed they never apologize or act angry like I did something wrong. I was a worker at this McDonald's from 2018 to 2021, and the worst of it happened when COVID broke out. My managers (except my boss) were so mean and didn't treat me very well due to my autism. And they blamed me for all the mistakes and slow pace that I went on. I felt so guilty about letting customers down, angering them, lying to them, offending them, and being the root cause of their problems. The last time I went to this location I got a paper straw but did not realize it until after the fact and the grease of the hashbrown had destroyed it. This time, I ordered a Sausage Biscuit with Egg meal and went to the pickup window and asked for a plastic straw to which they said they do not have them anymore (something about not being good for the environment but yet have plastic cups?). I made a huge mistake as I was yelled by a tall man who appeared to be a manager at the shop. He indicated that I violated PA/USA law to wear a sandals in the store while I was dine in and asked me to leave the property. I went for one of those free Chicken sandwiches because the Phillies won. You had to buy an item over $1 so I added a vanilla shake for $3.14. I used the mobile app and paid thru the app automation. Total should be about this plus tax. I was stunned when my bank statement show $9.82. I was FULLY CHARGED. I went through the drive-in at about 3:05 PM. I can see an employee inside that did not have her mask over her nose. It is not safe to have employees breathing on the food. I complained to the woman at the window, who was wearing her mask appropriately, but she did not appear to do anything about it.
