Great place to grab a quick hot drink. Service was fast and pleasant. They also have a cute little shop to walk around inside.

To those who are familiar, this is nothing new. If you're not, drop what you're doing and go! It's a fun, quirky, aromatic jungle of delicious delights. I can't remember a time that there wasn't a line of customers just waiting to purchase one of their tempting treats. From scratch-made scones, croissants and specialty desserts to delicious breads and stunning cakes, this place has it all. They open early and you need to be there early to be able to choose from the full range of offerings. Come at noon and you'll be lucky, and I mean lucky, to get a loaf of bread. That's a good thing by the way, every day, everything is fresh. Whenever you get there, no matter what they have available, buy something. You won't be disappointed.

Crossroads is an excellent bakery. Parking is tight at times but that is to be expected because they are always busy. Good baked goods of all types. First off, there were two people behind the counter, a young man and an older woman. I have never seen either one of them before. Usually, the staff wears green smock-style aprons with "The Larder" printed across the chest. These two people were not wearing aprons. When I got up to the register, I asked about a specific product's availability and was looked at like I was from another planet. I asked again and was given a quick, non direct, somewhat of an answer. Then after I paid, I said "thank you", to which both employees stood silent and turned away. No "you're welcome", no "have a nice day". That is definitely not the normal there. Also, I was not given a bag- I had to struggle carrying my purchases to the car. I hope the original owner is alright and was just off for the day. If today was any indication of how the store will be from now on, I think I will shop elsewhere. I hate to say what an unpleasent experience I had, as I have always enjoyed shopping here.
