There were several bakery options for those dairy-free and gluten-free and even sugar-free! They have a large selection of cheese, meats, and seafood too. Their drink stand offers ready-to-make smoothies, coffee drinks, and non-coffee drinks such as a chai frappe which I'd recommend! They also have seasonal items which sounded great. Over by the bakery corner, they offer ready-to-make crepes too. The staff was friendly and kind. I even found some fellow shoppers in the store to be friendly too! Shelves were restocked well which is saying a lot during a PANDEMIC! Checkout was very easy and quick (although I may have just been there at an ideal time of day). Overall, I'd say this store is well managed. Props to the team for making that happen! Also, for those unsure of what to expect, I'll say the following. The space is about half fresh foods/produce/made-to-order and half grocery aisles with some necessities and some specialty items mixed in. Be sure to examine the entire fresh foods area well, because otherwise there's some options that are easy to miss. They truly make best use of the space in my opinion! I only have two negatives to share: 1) the smaller parking lot with not too many spots available, which still worked for my needs. 2) a little pricier than your average grocery store (for some specialty items) but then again, I'd compare this more to a gourmet store or farm to table place where you're getting better quality and paying for it accordingly. With that said, I feel the prices are justified. Just note you would likely spend less on some items at a ShopRite, but a lot that's available here you wouldn't see in your average grocery store. Also, you'd receive better quality items (that aren't name brand) here than at your average grocery store including baked goods, fresh foods, etc. Overall, great experience!

Regarding the celery, I can't understand why it tastes so bad. It's bitter, sour, almost rancid. Yet, it looked and smelled delicious. Perhaps residue from a pesticide? I don't know. I'm speaking it in water now. I wanted it earlier. I am welcone to hear suggestions.

There was a pizza shop that smelled delicious in addition to the menus I shared in photos. There is also a basement where the flea market had vendors were set up. After the event tables were quickly cleaned for a post event concert. You do need to take a pretty long staircase to get down to the basement which I do not think is handicap accessible. There was very limited seating in the basement even at the bar. They have some unique specialty cocktails. If that's your thing I did not try any of the food so no feedback on that. I will add that the venue opted to allow food pantry donations in lieu of paying a fee to get in to make the event accessible to everyone. The venue also allowed multiple non profit LGBTQ+ and left learning political groups to have tables on a sliding scale to insure they could participate. I was told that the venue communication was fantastic if you're looking to host an event in the future. Parking is all pay by app but there is a lot behind the restaurant as well as street parking.

The cashiers are so friendly and the ordering process is easy (once you get the hang of it) kiosks where you order and pay all in one. If you are getting a drink and chips, you have to pay separately at the cash register which is slightly inconvenient. Indoor and outdoor seating first come first serve but it does tend to turn over quickly. It can get crowded and the shopping area does get congested. There was a wait for the kiosk when we went today but the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. A lot to see and plenty to try. We will be back to sample more of the menu for sure.

The food itself, the entrees, though, were pretty disappointing. I had the eggplant parmigiana, which was very overdone and mushy, pretty tasteless, with very little cheese. Not the eggplant parm that was expected at all. I didn't finish it. My partner ordered the spaghetti carbonara. It was hot and creamy but bland-tasting. The grated cheese brought to the table was flavorless; way short of the Reggiano that's usually grated in front of you at a great, authentic Italian restaurant. We split the oreo mousse cake for dessert; it was passable. Glad we tried this eatery, but I don't think we'll be back.
