They also sell other cooking-related items: tools, spices, etc. It's definitely not a large store, but it's worth checking out if you need olive oil or are on the hunt for a gift for someone who enjoys cooking.

Years ago it was the office of the Bucks County Democratic Committee, but is now available for more useful purposes. I stopped in to purchase vitamin K7 for me and iron for my wonderful wife. Stan was within holding court. The store isn't large, but it is generally well stocked, and he is very knowledgeable about nutrition. I told him what I needed, and he escorted me to their respective locations. Luckily, I was able to secure the last K7 in stock (strengthens the immune system) and he made sure the iron wasn't for me (can cause cardiac issues in men). I assured him that was the case and we completed our transaction. Prices were reasonable and the entire episode lasted under 15 minutes; just the amount of time offered by the limited parking zone out in front. Given the usual difficulty with Doylestown Borough parking, I knew this was my lucky day.

Now this is their only stand alone location (they still offer their popular food items inside Makers, still located in Dublin Town Center) and it is one of my favorite places - the addition of the cafe was genius and it's in a quaint store front in Doylestown. I went to their opening and have been coming back ever since. I love their seasonal options and that they partner with local businesses to sell such amazing goodies - particularly their baked goods. Their sandwiches I've tried have also been amazing but they sell out fast. I still come here to pick up food items- they do a great job of having unique products and they feature a lot of them in their food they serve. The service is always great and the owners Jess and Kevin are the sweetest! Love a family owned small business. If you're in the mood for a quick, sweet treat I would definitely recommend hitting them up while you're in town. Very easy to park or walk from a nearby parking area. They have a bathroom, but it is not handicap accessible, as you have to walk up several stairs. There is seating indoors or a new patio area if you'd like to sit and enjoy your dessert. The owners/staff have always been very welcoming and happy to help us.

Overall, I'd say this store is well managed. Props to the team for making that happen! Also, for those unsure of what to expect, I'll say the following. The space is about half fresh foods/produce/made-to-order and half grocery aisles with some necessities and some specialty items mixed in. Be sure to examine the entire fresh foods area well, because otherwise there's some options that are easy to miss. They truly make best use of the space in my opinion! I only have two negatives to share: 1) the smaller parking lot with not too many spots available, which still worked for my needs. 2) a little pricier than your average grocery store (for some specialty items) but then again, I'd compare this more to a gourmet store or farm to table place where you're getting better quality and paying for it accordingly. With that said, I feel the prices are justified. Just note you would likely spend less on some items at a ShopRite, but a lot that's available here you wouldn't see in your average grocery store. Also, you'd receive better quality items (that aren't name brand) here than at your average grocery store including baked goods, fresh foods, etc. Overall, great experience!
