A little taste of Paris in downtown Doylestown.

This is my favorite little French cafe in the heart of Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa. Quaint, inviting and an olfactory delight, Le Macaron is a must visit on your next trip to Doylestown. The staff is friendly, the prices are within expectations and the chocolates and pastries are amazing. Personally, I cannot pass up the Almond croissants. Their texture, with just a hint of buttery almond at the center, is unsurpassed in my experience. It's a cute little cafe. Seating is limited. In nice weather they have some limited seating and even supply a water bowl for your canine companions outside (no pets inside).

Cute little French pastry shop!! Parking is metered along the side streets so if you're ok with parking and walking it's definitely worth checking out! Service was great, I was able to ask what staff recommended and they were thoughtful and kind. I got 6 chocolates and 6 macarons. The chocolates were tasty, possibly overpriced at around $12 a box of 6, but I enjoyed being able to select which chocolates I wanted. Macarons were about $16 for a box of 6 and I could select which ones I wanted, I think they were way better than the chocolates and wish I had gotten more!!! I would recommend this place to others for themselves or if they need to buy gifts! The staff packages up the food in boxes with tissue paper and it's very delicate and cute!

I have been meaning to try out le macaron since they opened and finally got around to trying them out. I used to buy macarons all the time when I lived in Philly and occasionally I'd be lucky enough to find some local ones and Im happy that there is now a local spot to me. I'll start by saying the staff is awesome and the establishment looked clean and their cases were filled with yummy treats. Be sure to also check out their refrigerator case with macaron cakes and ice cream sandwiches. The macarons were beautiful but just okay in taste. They were pretty sloppily made and uneven, not that it matters much to me. The mango was more jelly filled and the grand mariner with chocolate was my favorite that I tried. The lavender white chocolate was the one I was most excited for but it honestly tasted like fruit loops. I tried some of the lemon meringue tart which was good, the crust a little hard but had nice flavor. I'll be back I'm sure to try some other goodies in the future but it won't be a routine stop for me. If you're looking for macarons or other French pastries in doylestown- this will do but there are definitely better outside of the suburbs.

Ordered a small box of chocolates, don't specifically remember all the flavors- the turtle was pecan, the light blue was some kind of milk chocolate, I think the yellow was a caramel of some kind, the white was hazelnut? They were all delicious and would buy them all again. Staff was friendly shop was cute. If I am ever in the area again would definitely stop in.

Drove 45 minutes to taste the macarons. My partner and I make a point of tasting them everywhere we travel and these macarons can rival those in Paris. They are DELICIOUS. I can't wait to taste more of their offerings. chocolates, eclairs, gelato, they have it all. The cappuccino was very good also. Louise was friendly and very helpful. The store is bright and cheerful. I look forward to returning for more!!jjju Thanks Le Macaron

Perfection! A must stop on Doylestown. A lovely little shop with a wonderful selection of flavors I've never seen before. The Macarons are perfection. I just tried the lavender and it was amazing. They also have a lot of other delicacies including some pastries that are as delicious as they are beautiful. Friendly staff. The shop is right on the corner with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend

    So good!

Tables adorned with a cute little ceramic sugar dish, lovely tableware and fresh flowers. This place was designed with love and intention and it shows. From the lighting fixtures to the decor Flourish is both stylish and comfortable. The food is just as well thought out. Inspired by Eastern European flavors Flourish takes basic breakfast to an elevated experience. A bit pricy for daily breakfast but the flavors were a treat to experience. No pork products but the turkey sausage was just as satisfying and 4 long links in a side serving. I chose the garden skillet and swapped the over easy eggs for scrambled. He went for the Shakshuka. Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted. You aren't going to find over the top portions here, but the meals are satisfying and prepared with fresh quality ingredients. The berries on the Syrniki were huge, juicy and tasty. Flourish is not your daily breakfast spot but definitely one we recommend and will revisit on occasion.

When I arrived after a very good Mexican lunch further up York Road there wasn't much to choose from in their display case. A few pastries were about all there was. Not a loaf of bread to be found. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful, but she couldn't provide what I was really looking for, great brownies or a fresh fruit pie or coffee cake to take home. So, I opted for a Carrot Cake pastry and a large Chocolate Chip Cookie. Both were adequate, but less than the rapturous experience I was hoping for. The Choco Chip was very sweet and crunchy, but without many chocolate chips. The Carrot Cake looked great, but its flavor was muted. The cake was not as moist as I anticipated, and the icing with a mild light cream texture, as opposed to the heavier cream cheese topping I was expecting. Not at all what I was craving. Sure, it may have saved me from calories and a diabetic coma, but I was looking for a small splurge. This place clearly was too healthy and sensible for my moment seeking temporary indulgences. Although the cafe was cozy and sat at sidewalk level, it just didn't "pop" for me. Perhaps, a better time would permit more satisfying results. 3.5 Patisserie Etoiles.
