It's upsetting to write this review because I have used the Novel Baker in the past and they did do…read morea good job, but I'm not sure if they just don't have the capacity. We ordered from Alexis, the owner at the bakery, last September and my husband spoke to her over the phone, placed the order, and we picked it up with no issues. I reached out via their website 3 weeks ago to get 2 smash cakes, 24 cake pops, and 24 cupcakes for my son's 1st birthday (very simple order). She did not respond back for over a week and we went back and forth via email. I asked for a phone call to just sort the order out a few times and she refused. She just kept asking for me to fill out the order form...again....and again...and again. Her emails made absolutely no sense to find out that she uses ChatGPT which was why. She wasn't even responding to my emails as herself even when I told her how upset I was. I left her multiple voicemails and have still not heard from her...only ChatGPT. Now with the party being only a week away, I could not rely on Alexis as I can't even get ahold of her so found another option.

She took the time even though she was very busy to individually wrap the cupcakes and tie them with a bow in the cutest box. She also gave us instructions on how to defrost them since they were frozen for the night. When I finally got home and was able to enjoy the cupcake, it was one of the best treats I've had in a very long time! it was perfectly sweet and just the right size for a nighttime snack. The store itself is absolutely beautiful and a delicate surprise for the Doylestown area. I can't wait to go back and try some other wonderfully displayed desserts and have a freshly made espresso from their beautiful equipment. The store is very large with lots of parking, but I absolutely recommend bringing a friend to grab a coffee and a treat together. This would be a cute place to have a few people for a small girls birthday!

Okay ... the time has come. I hate giving bad reviews and I won't bash them . Because I'm sure they…read morestill have some very good products it's just not worth it for me anymore to get the items that I used to like. I also am fully aware it's a small business and with inflation prices are bound to increase but I felt very ripped off. I bought 4 cupcakes - they're $3.50 each - totally fine. Thats $14. I also bought 3 macarons which the girl said were $1.25 each, also totally reasonable. So now I'm at $17.75 Tell me how I spent $41 and change when the only other things I bought were 3 decorated sugar cookies and 6 petit fours. That means I spent $23 on 3 cookies and 6 petit four. Maybe that's an okay price actually . If the cookie were 4 that'd be 12 and then I spent 11 on those cakes. Sure I guess the price isn't bad. Everything was beautiful by the way. But the cupcakes weren't filled. Again not bad for the price. And the petit fours were not the traditional layered I'm used to. Maybe I just expected more ? Again nothing per se is expensive. And the quality isn't bad either I just don't ever leave loving anything I've purchased. My petit fours also got stuck to the wrappers so I had to eat paper. I just wish I could go in here and order something and know I'll love it. I'd spend more if that were the case ! Again- not a bad review. I know my best friend loves their pastries - but it's just not a place for me anymore to get what I love. I wish them the best and many more years ahead!

I ordered the Arepa Colombiana, and as a Filipino American who loves crispy chicharrón, this dish did not disappoint. The flavors were spot on, and the guac topping was fresh and incredibly tasty. I also tried the beef empanada, which had all the traditional flavors I'm used to. Of course, I couldn't resist the maduros. They were served with a condensed milk dip, and let me tell you, I'm still drooling just thinking about it! I'm especially excited for the new Quinoa dinners, which will be served starting March 2025 on Fridays through Sundays. If you missed out on dining at Quinoa in Doylestown before it closed on January 26, 2025, now's your chance to experience what all the hype was about. The seating at Latin Pot is limited, so I highly recommend calling ahead for reservations, especially for dinner and weekends, to ensure you get a spot. I can't wait to come back and try more arepa flavors and indulge in some classic Quinoa entrees. Definitely check out this gem and support this local small businesses!
