Dad's Hat is also the first distillery to make a traditional Pennsylvania mash bill using barley and rye, with no corn. Bartender was cool and while not the most knowledgeable she still very helpful and was cool with all my sill whiskey nerd questions. Only real hiccup I had was the confusion of the Distillary and Tasting room, but it just added to the adventure. Great place to swing by if you are in the area.

The young lady working the counter was quick, kind and excellent at whipping up the orders. The presentation of gelato and sorbetto flavors looked great. It was hard to choose a flavor. They have some Italian pastries and cookies too. I went with my tried and true favorite Nocciola - Hazelnut. It was smooth, dense and delicious .... I wish it had more of the hazelnut flavors coming through, but it was still good. My son was quiet and devoured whichever flavor he had. I had a cup of Kimbo espresso with a side of sparkling water. Kimbo isn't my favorite brand, but the espresso was a great side companion to my gelato. Suddenly, Bristol Borough has one heck of an ice cream scene.
