Full disclosure - I LOVE WaWa - mainly for their coffee and their hoagies, but also b/c of their killer rewards app and always free fountain water (we fill up alot b/f sporting activities and drives to the shore). This "super" WaWa was wonderful, as all (or MOST) others. Clean, friendly employees and quick ordering. My son had his choice of what he wanted to eat on our ride home and, as most usual - the answer . . . "WaWa!!!!!" He went with a meatball Classic this time - it's usually the turkey club. Oh, their new paninis are soooo good - you would not believe how good their rotisserie chicken is (doesn't taste or look "rubbery", if you know what I'm talking about). My 'go to's' are the above, plus their 'hoagie bowls' - the chicken and tuna ones are my favorites. It's awesome for when you want to go carb free at dinner time! They're surprisingly filling. My daughter had the store made cinnamon bun (with the goo gobs of sweet cream cheese icing). We're usually only in this area on our way to 'Bird Paradise' but of course we'd stop again. The three of us are proud WaWa addicts!

The onions weren't really sautéed as much as I like either. The beans and mac were unfortunately some of the most flavorless sides I've had in a long time. The beans almost had a sour taste. If you are used to Bush's Baked Beans these aren't it for you. Tenders were ok and thank goodness the tots were right. Other than that I'll probably continue my search for a good local hot dog joint.

They picked a perfect spot in Bristol Borough that they seemed to have partnered with Naked Brewing on. If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.

We ordered a smash burger taco and the grilled cheese smash burger combo with cheese curds and the chocolate brownie delight sundae. So cheesy, topped with Freddy's sauce, plus the smash burger and bacon.....YUM. First time trying fried cheese curds and custard and they did NOT disappoint. We've had poutine, but they're not wrong saying everything tastes better fried. And for the custard - thick, so chocolaty and the brownie on the bottom was a delicious surprise. We had an issue with ordering at the drive thru but the staff were very nice and made up for the mistake. Freddy's is absolutely worth trying and we cannot wait to go back!

Should taste like chicken, not salt. And I am a big fan of salt. Skip the Cane's sauce. Personally, I wouldn't even go near that coagulate. It stinks to high heaven. If I would happen to add anything, I'd add some of their hot sauce to dip my fries in. Also always order the garlic bread toasted on both sides. Delicious! Previously had good service, but when I came in this time, three staff members looked at me standing to place an order and walked away to sweep, talk to peers. I had to move my head forward toward the kitchen and ask if anyone was running the cashiers. Apparently only paying attention to drive through and kitchen maintenance. Once I flagged them down and got their attention, they were responsive and professional. Was going to applaud management that they finally stopped blasting their music on the PA at levels to reach the Space Station, but as I write this, they just turned the volume back up:( For the food quality and taste (minus their sauce) will always return. Beats Chick Fillet any day.

This Friday I found myself at a Raising Cane's in Burlington, New Jersey, which as far as I know…read morehas never been the setting for any great epics, unless you count the war between people who like coleslaw and people who don't. I was there with my son. He had just finished his volunteer work, and we were both hungry. Hunger makes philosophers of us all. I had read the reviews. Many of them said things like "the service is terrible" and "this place is a mess" and "the toast was a war crime." These people must have been living in a parallel dimension, because what we experienced was very nearly delightful. My son got the Box Combo. That's four chicken fingers, a pile of fries, a slab of Texas toast, a little dish of coleslaw, and a drink. He chose sweet tea because he's no fool. He told me beforehand he didn't want the slaw. Kids these days. So I took it. I'm the father. That's what we do. He liked it all. Said the chicken was hot and tender inside. The Texas toast got a nod of approval. That means a lot from a kid who does not pull punches when it comes to food. I got the Three Finger Combo. Fewer fingers but still enough to remind you that you're alive. Fries, toast, sweet tea. No frills, just hot food done well. When the food came up, someone shouted "Hot fresh chicken for Jerry!" They weren't lying. That chicken was blistering. Had to let it cool for a minute or two before my mouth could handle it. Once I did, I found it juicy and delicious. People speak of Cane's Sauce like it's the nectar of gods. I found it fine. Not worth composing sonnets over, but pleasant. The chicken pieces were a bit on the smaller side. That's not a complaint. Quality over quantity, folks. Give me a smaller thing done well over a big one done half-heartedly any day. The slaw was cold and creamy and fresh. I liked it. It's the kind I like, chunky, not obliterated into tiny pieces. No one will write a song about it, but I'd eat it again. The sweet tea was sweet tea. You know what that means. If you don't, move south for a summer and you'll learn. The service was excellent. I mean it. The woman who seemed to be in charge was sharp and kind. She took our order and later came by while we were eating, asking if everything was good. It was. That kind of check-in might not seem like much, but it reminded me that humans are still out here trying. The dining room was clean. It was well-lit. It was also about five degrees colder than the surface of the moon. My son and I sat there with goosebumps on our arms like it was some sort of poultry-themed Arctic expedition. Still, I'd come back. I'd even bring a sweater. Sometimes good chicken and good company are enough to make you forget the cold. Almost.

I was too relaxed by it to get too anxious about waiting 20min. Far too many fast food places just blast crap over the speakers that causes every middle-aged customer to want to bolt after 60 seconds.
