Hash browns, 2 farm fresh eggs, rye bread. Missing pork roll $5.99
    Terra B.

This store is in a quiet , clean, neat, and homey in a little town. I've been coming here since 2000. They have a little of this and that such as lottery, New England Coffee Island, Hershey Ice-cream, Boar's head deli meats and cheese, chips, milk, soda and a local favorite called "Boost", and so much more. They have fair prices and good food. They have a diner like set up where you can eat in and watch t.v., read your paper or whatever you like. As I waited for my order it was as if I stepped back in time. People who came in seemed to no one another and the cashier new them as well. It was as if it were there home away from home and I was visiting them. While engaging in friendly conversation. I had hash browns, 2 farm eggs, pork roll and rye bread. I took my family and I orders and left because I had somewhere to be. After parking I decided to open my container and what did J see? There was no pork roll. Ugh! I was so disappointed because this was my cheat day. Now I couldn't cheat. You're talking about a major disappointment because I had built myself just to be let down by the MIssing in action pork roll. I called to inform them of my issue. I was in formed that they would give extras pork roll and gave me an apology. I looked in my container and disappointed again because it was only really a regular order. Either they were having a bad day or I was having a bad day. It wasn't me! For sure! I would try them again, but it will be a while because I do.

I haven't been here for awhile but ive always loved their cole slaw and my boyfriend likes to put it on his roast beef hoagie. I always get the southwest chicken salad no egg no onion and an order of fries. I usually love their lunch fries. I ordered to go. The fries were some of the worst ive ever been served. Extremely overcooked. I like a little crunch but these were well past that. The hoagie was really good and my salad was good except they forgot the asian crispy noodles that kind of make it. I will say the chicken was cooked perfect and hoagie was great but the fries and missing noodles were a disappointment

asked for NO ONION multiple times.

Otherwise, expect: -expired items galore, check the dates of EVERYTHING -coupons that you apply to your account via mobile app will not show up at the register upon checkout nor will they be applied -"one way" aisles that are 2-way chaos -sky high prices on many items: for example babybel cheese will cost $3-4 at Trader Joe's. Here? $10! -"sale" prices that aren't rung up as such upon rendering payment. Check your receipt or just expect to pay regular price on everything. Otherwise the process of getting a manager takes forever and they don't even care to rectify the issue. -there's a little clearance rack back by the bathrooms, so that's cool today we did a huge order of nearly $300. We were supposed to get a solid $20 in savings that didn't materialize on the receipt... In this pandemic and over a holiday weekend, we frankly didn't bother to go back into the store with our (further) rotting perishable foodstuffs in the vehicle to undertake a consumer justice mission more aggravating and complex than the treaty of Versailles, the Potsdam agreement, camp David accords, etc etc. There's Aldi in town, shop rite in town, and Lidl is close by. Hell, try your luck at a super Walmart somewhere. Step into this Acme if you're willing to accept being screwed over for "convenience." I'll never accept it, but If I return I understand it will be at a cost of years off my life and potential food poisoning.

Many of the items here are overpriced and the produce is fair at best. However, some of their sales are really good so if you're a grocery shopping geek like me that will go to multiple places to get everything I need and just stop here to grab the sale items you can make out pretty well.

The food alone is worth the trip! The giant BBQ turkey leg with mashed potatoes and gravy is a must-try. The ribs are also outstanding. I was derelict in my Yelping of this institution for far too long. I was here seeking out Amish cottage cheese which I haven't been able to get at the Trenton farmers market for many years. I knew it would be located in the Amish wing but I needed to walk the rest of the building too. I entered that section to find crowds of people everywhere. To view the prepared hot foods would have required standing in a long line just to eventually get close enough to peek at the cases. I found the cottage cheese prepackaged and decided to walk around the rest of the place before returning to make a few purchases. There were so many temptations in the Amish part, pretzels, prepared salad items, donuts, baked goods in general and of course the meats. The rest of Columbus has treasures to be found as well, depending on your outlook. Discount over the counter drugs, health and beauty, craft soda and pickles, clothes of all kinds, shoes, housewares. I could probably go on. Really something for everyone. My stroll took me past a chicken shop that once I caught the smell of its fried goods, I knew I'd be trying on my way back. At the far end where other food stalls are I saw a taqueria that I plan on trying next trip. With a bag full of fried goodness I was no longer concerned about the Amish foods. I grabbed the cottage cheese and walked out with just a bit of regret that I didn't snag a donut or a dozen. I popped into the produce building just to see what was there. Nice looking veggies but most were sold in bulk. Towards the end of this building is a seafood market that I've heard good things about. Now I have more reasons to return. 4.5 stars !

Pick carefully when you select those items. There are seasonal and limited quantity sale items available throughout the year. Pay attention the the red labeled items as they are "here now, gone tomorrow" and may never be in stock again. So if you like something with a red label, stock up on it while you can.
