The Mac and cheese was nicely made cheesy, noodles weren't over cooked and over all had good flavor with pieces of duck and a few cherries mixed in. I also ordered the burger which was cooked as requested medium rare and was topped with bacon and an onion ring. I upgrade to the Parmesan truffle fries.which I was slightly disappointed in. I didn't see or taste the Parmesan but there was a slight truffle flavor. The fish tacos I heard were good but not really blacked and the vodka sauce was just okay according to others at the table.

I have visited Bob's Deli several times and I just had to write a review of how genuinely kind they are. I have learned to appreciate the "hole in the wall" businesses that focus more on quality customer service than exterior grandeur. The service here is personable, and caring; not to mention the food is delicious. The young man who prepares the hot food is so wonderful. Always there, always kind, always positive. Small businesses like this are the nuts and bolts of this community and I am glad to know they are here. I am new to the community and a small business owner myself and I can appreciate the early hours and the wonderful fresh and delicious food made to order and to my finicky taste. I have read some of the "one" star reviews and can honestly say that I have dealt with franchises and had the same experiences and worst. I think Bob's Deli is top notch Thank you Bob's.......really! I remember a time that Bobs was a stable in the community. Since these new owners ever year when I come home unless Adam is cooking the food is sub par! I went the other day to get a pork roll egg and cheese and it was horrible I ended up throwing half of it away. The older dark haired women cooking got more shells in my eggs than egg and could not grasp the concept of washing her hand before man handling everyone's food it a matter of time before people are getting physically ill. Do you sell a favor fo to the quick check downtown for food if Adam isn't cooking. I'd like to ad that my post was taken down because certain individuals did not like hearing the truth. The parking lot looked a little lonely when I pulled in. Not dead exactly, just resting its eyes. Inside were a handful of regulars who had the settled look of people who know which waitress works Tuesdays and which booth wobbles. My kind of crowd. The waitress appeared almost before I sat down. I did not need the menu. Two scrambled eggs, home fries, white toast, scrapple, coffee. Scrapple, for the uninitiated, is what happens when Pennsylvania Dutch thrift and ingenuity collides with breakfast meat and nobody asks too many questions afterward. It is made from pork "scraps," cornmeal and existential resignation. Fried correctly, it is uniquely magnificent. Mine was magnificent. Thin slices, crisp around the edges, soft and moist in the middle, clearly worked on a grill by somebody who respected the material. The eggs were right, the home fries actually tasted of potatoes, and the coffee arrived hot and kept returning as faithfully as a Labrador retriever. The food came out with astonishing speed, which under the circumstances may have saved me from gnawing on the booth. Eighteen bucks including tip. If in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
