I'm still recoiling in horror as I write this…read more We've been using Phresh for alkaline water delivery for about 3 months and have enjoyed the convenience. But while my husband and I were changing out an empty 5-gallon bottle, we noticed a white, thumb-sized fleck floating at the bottom. At first I assumed it was just a piece of plastic from the cap, so we emptied the bottle to check. To my absolute horror, it was a slug. We had been drinking water from that bottle for the past week with a SLUG floating in it. I gagged immediately. It was absolutely disgusting and alarming. Another reviewer mentioned finding a paintbrush and pencil at the bottom of their bottle, and I wish I found that than this. How sanitary is their bottling and quality control process if a slug can end up inside a sealed bottle unnoticed? I'm still sick over it. I wish I had taken a picture, but I was so disgusted that I immediately dumped it down the sink. Going to refill my own water from now on, at least I can see the cleanliness with my own eyes that way.

My family has been regulars to this water store and we have always enjoyed getting our water there. When we came in we were greeted with a rude remarks from this lady. We had came in with a bunch of jugs as usual, but this time this Asian lady yelled for us to use only 3 faucets. We thought it was kinda weird so we just listened and filled our jugs. We needed some space so I moved one space over so that my family can fill their share of jugs and all of a sudden this lady was yelling at us to use only three. Mind you we WERE using only 3 faucets but we had spread out for some space. My mom and her started to disagree. And the lady claimed "This is my house my store if you don't like it get out". My mom was just trying to say that we ARE using three, but this lady was just plain rude. We packed our jugs and paid for the jugs we had already fill. But as my mom paid her the lady just tossed the change onto the counter. Overall, this lady needs to be fired or learn her lesson on customer service. I would like the guy who regularly worked there to come back. ADDITIONALLY I myself am Asian so I'm not discriminating and am only complaining about the lady's work ethics.

While the first couple of years had its delivery bumps as they were getting their delivery system figured out, it was never anything to make me reconsider their services. Why? Because I was able to order their premium purified RO water vs. only having the option to order alkaline water. And let me tell you, I LOVE the taste of their premium purified water. Love, love, love!!! Recently I had considered switching to a local water company simply because they were a couple of dollars cheaper. I tried their RO purified water, thinking it would be the same and the switch would be easy. Boy, was I wrong! It tasted like basic spring water vs. the pleasant crystal clear flavor of TBWCo's premium purified. No joke, the flavor of their water is why I stay. It's simply the best tasting purified water I've found - it's a pleasure to drink!!! Especially considering I drink it all day every day. Since the initial wave of delivery issues some 10 years ago, I have never had issues since. I've moved multiple times. They're in my phone, we text weekly to confirm delivery. When I move the deliveries continue without a hitch to my new address. Putting a hold on deliveries is super easy when we're traveling. And the best part is, even though we've both moved locations and they've rebranded and expanded, it's still the same great tasting water as it was 10 years ago. Sure enough, in HUGE letters the store sign read "Drinking Water Store" and then in much smaller letters underneath: Ice Cream This little shop sells purified water, which is what most people come for. Folks bring their water containers and fill them up; much cheaper than the water delivery companies. This place also sells a variety of water containers. But they also sell Thrifty ice cream. They have a freezer full of take-home containers or you can choose from a dozen flavors and have them scoop you a cone or cup. I got a scoop of chocolate malt crunch. The single scoops are big and cheap (I think it was $1.25). YUM! None of the Rite-Aid stores near me scoop Thrifty ice cream any more so this is a real treat. So if you live in the Cerritos/Norwalk area and want a delicious Thrifty ice cream cone, check out the Drinking Water Store!
